mclaren v2 stuck in flashing firmware

Can anyone help with my problem? i have just purchased csl dd and mclaren v2 wheel and the base is being recognized but when i connect the wheel it updates constantly and wheel base goes through a colour cycle and nothing else happens. i turn of the base and take off the wheel and the base is fine again.

    I would open a support ticket and see if they can help. Otherwise you may need to RMA the wheel.

    yeah i raised a ticket four days ago when i received them but ive not heard back. cant get on the web chat as always busy and even phoning didnt help. this is a birthday present for my son so i kinda hoped for better support than just wait? especially as fanatec are a premium brand.

    Hi, I'm having similar problem with my GT DD Pro. I lost connection to my Ps5 mid-race playing GT7. When connecting to computer with any wheel on its, the system starts automatically flashing the wheel firmware with no end in sight. I tried to reinstall the wheelbase firmware to no avail.
