QR1 Lite is limiting the Torque to 8 Nm so yes, with too high in game FFB gain settings you can easily experience clipping with "just" 8 Nm available max torque.
The motor have enough power, what Maurice also said, you just lose the details.
When i was in CSLDD, then i set the ffb in F1 23 above 70%, like 100% in game, then when i was in the corner, and hit the kerb, the kerb effect and road effect was gone, not feeling any detail, just the base holding the torque, that's it. When i set to 70% in game, I was feeling everything when i was in the corner, because the base not clipping.
i to notice that there is one issue with Music and that is loud speaker bass one. it means csl dd is not able play weak sounds, i don't know where that issue comes maybe because off firmware or motor self not able todo that, i do not test that with my DD2 yet
also i not know how good is a clubsport dd about this

Try to go back to 451 this seems to be a more stable driver.
A few posts back was also said that the next iteration of this (buggy) drivers is worked on and will be made available soonish. So maybe this time ... even if I personally do not have high hopes.
I'm waiting for a stable driver since 429 (what I'm using ATM) but each time a new driver is available there are so many problems ... I haven't seen any other company which has so many problem with their SW driver development.
Good morning, yesterday I received the new CSL DD base with the QR2 quick release to mount on my F1 esport V2 chainring. The base is recognized without problems (it is updated regularly), while the steering wheel, once the base is turned on, is not recognized. If I try to disconnect the steering wheel and reconnect it to the base by trying to force it towards the QR on the base it is recognized (the steering wheel is already updated to the latest software). It may seem that the pins do not fully fit into the base and this causes the steering wheel not to be recognised. The curious thing is that once recognized, if I turn off the base and turn it back on, the steering wheel is not recognized again and I have to repeat the procedure as above. I can't understand if it could be a QR problem (base or steering wheel) or the steering wheel itself having problems. To tell the truth, the steering wheel with the QR2 does not seem to fit perfectly into the QR of the base (at least when compared with the videos found online). Maybe I need to put some grease on the hub? Another thing I might think is that the 454 firmware has a bug about it. Who can give me a hand?
Maurcie was my comment on page 8 received? Lots of responses to others. I provided all the requested info unlike most and included the logs and haven't gotten anything, not even a thanks we'll take a look.....I contacted support and their suggestion was to take off the shaft unplug both wire harnesses for the QR, plug them back in and see it it helps. I will try this, but it seems highly unlikely to be the issue, as I have never taken the shaft off or messed with those harness clips. I am going to test this weekend without using Fanalab I have some suspicions that Fanalab is causing the issue. Thanks for all your help and suggestions.
or anyone who can help. Do let me know if this is the information required or correct channel. I am still facing the same issue where upon startup the M4 GT3 wheel is not detected. Thereafter, manual firmware update faii. But upon starting everything again, it gets detected. Appreciate your assistance. Thank you.
When i start WRC 2023 on the ps5 with my Brand New Fanatec Podium Button Module Rally, it schows me to push "rechts unten" instead of an X. Also the other Buttons are completely wrong.
Is it now a Bug from the game or from the Button Module Rally?
I have of course the new driver and firmware for the Button Module.

I don't know Maurice, then it might be the QR1 Lite that clipping at the shaft and i feel the sudden loss of power instead?
I might go for the QR2...

Yeah i get it Robert. I might go for the new QR2.
I wish Fanatec to have this on a discount again at least for those who bought the base with the old qr1.
this cutting force feeling comes from amps and from voltage, when voltage enters to specific level, there not possible go upper
that is also reason why the devises like DD1 and DD2 have much higher voltage
amps self holds the force, more amps stronger is the holding
all this needed balanced with the coil, so at that comes also reason why dd1 and dd2 is bigger
CS DD Owner her:
I installed the 454 Driver and updated all firmwares. So far so good, but there is no Motor Firmware.
My fanatec Iphone App tells me all the time, there is a new Motor Firmware V1.0.3.2 for the CS DD available, but i dont know where to find it.
Can somebody help?

Hi,
I have updated firmware to 454.
wheel base 3.0.3.6
wheel base motor 3.0.0.2
steering wheel 9 (bmw m4 gt3)
wireless qr 7
fanalab v2.01.12

ched my fanatec log file, if it helps.
Appreciate the kind assistance. Thank you.
The CS DD does not have a Motor Firmware, so the driver is correct.
The notification in the App is false and will be fixed with the next TrayApp version in the next driver.
Pedals?
That's known. The USB Pedal gets disabled in the Windows Device Manager. Just re-enable it there and the pedals will work again.
The next driver will have a fix to prevent this from happening in the first place.

Hello,
This isn't about the pedals. They are recognized gsnz normally and are connected directly to the PC.
The problem is the podium base (Mclaren Wheel).
The base is only recognized after the base has been restarted ten times.
Windows always gives an error message that a device is not recognized correctly.
I have already changed the USB slot.
nothing helped.
Before the update the problem wasn't there.
Under absolutely no circumstances you are allowed to put any grease on the QR2!
Sounds like a QR board issue and its best to contact the support.
How can I contact the support? For you is a QR base fault?
Go to your account, your products and then click on contact support for the product where you need support for (so CS DD in your case).

I have no idea whats going on, sorry.
Oh really? Didin't know that! 😮
Hi Maurice,
Thank you for the reply. I have read through and it seems its not just an issue for me. I will put it to support.
Appreciate of the wheel profiles and assistance always. Have a good weekend.
Hi Maurice, is the Csl DD 5 nm compatible with xbox series x if I have connected a clubsport formula v2.5 x steering wheel?
Yes, EVERY Base is working on Xbox if you attach a Xbox compatible wheel to it.

Thx a lot
in game or when not in use on the desktop?
In a game thats normal for a lot of games, just dont take your hands off the wheel while driving.
On Desktop there should not be ANY movement in the steering axis.
in the game. However, NFR seems to work, but the scale has changed. I haven't done any updates for a long time
As said, oscillations are pretty normal, especially on Fanatec DD Bases.
Not much you can do to avoid it.
