I've struggled with installing the latest firmware to my GT DD Pro Base and found the culprit: don't use a USB-C only connection. After many attempts with different ports and cables, I finally used the originally provided USB-C (GT DD Pro) to USB-A (ThinkPad 495) cable, an within seconds, the firmware installed. Hope this helps.
I am not sure if this is known issue but I have found when using the fanatec control panel when you recalibrate the break pedal when in game "ACC" it stops the force feed back from working on the Clubsport DD+.
funny thing is today it seems currently all ok. perhaps this Axis what i talked earlier causes some weird issues, that it sometimes send out to the game the 2 axis message instead
Okay so I used the CSL Hub V2 on PS5 (GT7) and noticed that this problem is not present. Sequential shifter plugged into shifter 2 port works normally. But when connected to a PC with driver 463 or 464, the sequential shifter inputs on shifter 2 port become reversed. Upshift becomes downshift and downshift becomes upshift.
But when a SQ V1.5 shifter connected to shifter port 1 is put in sequential mode, the shifter inputs in shifter port 2 work normally and the input mapping is shared with the SQ V1.5 (PC games see upshift or downshift inputs on both shifters as the same button input). When the option to map the SQ V 1.5 sequential shifter to shifter paddles is enabled in the Fanatec app, the sequential shifter in port 2 also will work normally and will be mapped to the CSL Hub V2 paddles.
Summary:
PC Driver 464
CSL Hub V2 FW: 8
DD+ 2.2.4.0
WQR 1.1.0.3
PS5 - sequential shifter in shifter port 2 works normally
PC - sequential shifter in shifter port 2 becomes reversed
when SQ V1.5 shifter in shifter port 1 is set to sequential, the sequential shifter in shifter port 2 works normally but is mapped to the SQ V1.5 instead of the CSL Hub V2 paddle shifters
enabling “map sequential shifters to paddle shifters” will map both SQ V1.5 and sequential shifter in shifter port 2 to the CSL Hub V2 paddle shifters
I had the same issue on my DD+. I use a tablet with only USB C port so I decided to plug an USB C to USB C, I wanted to avoid any trouble using a USB Hub. But it didn't work I had the USB lost connexion message on the update.
I retry using the original USB C to USB B and USB Hub, no problem to update the FW.
Hello! Is there an approximate date for the new driver? I'm looking forward to using ITM and having my funky switch mark the correct inputs lol!! This isn't a complaint or a rush. It's just to get an idea. Thanks!!
Ehm, until those issues are fixed it will still take some months... Next driver should be a BMR focused hotfix release, followed by the PVGT release driver and only then the next driver is scheduled to include other fixes...
Oops!! Wow....well we'll wait patiently Fanatec (Maurice). Little by little AS ALWAYS things will be resolved. Keep working doing everything as best as possible. Thanks!!!
We are aware of missed shifts and button inputs on the P DDs and are investigating"
Is there a workaround for this? Rollback? If so, which version? I'm experiencing this now and it's making the equipment unusable. CSL GT DD Pro, Formula V2.5 wheel/Universal Hub V2/GT wheel. QR2 with (Properly installed) new clamp.
Yes. It is already under investigation. There are several problems. Although we will have to wait and be patient. Try disconnecting ITM. Even with some problems it works much better for me!! Greetings!!
BRF is not saved. Everytime i start the base the Brake force is at 30(a value i just tested before the update). I have to set it back to another value everytime :/
I have not tried to set BRF via PC yet, but that didn't happens before.

if you get weird game feelings then DPR is bugged in Clubsport DD+, you to may need disable that for now
this bug is so weird that may even make feel like hardware is totally broken and just want send it back

i am using driver version 464
Clubsport DD+
v3 pedals
odd, i was doing something as well today in control panel and when i look to the game my FFB was also lost.
also the throttle pedal not work after that, needed todo restart
not remember atm what i was todo exactly, but i changed some settings
i try also repeat that issue , but it not happen anymore, so dunno
I just had loss of FFB but the issue is recreatable

My laptop is USB C only, so using the factory cable w A to C adapter and DD+ no issues - maybe its the non factory cable?
Podium Button Module Endurance gives an error after installing driver 464
When using with PS5, pressing the triangle button also triggers the cross button
By the way, this does not occur with the CSL Elite Steering Wheel McLaren GT3 V2.
This is a known Firmware issue to be fixed at some point in the future.

I doubt it, I tried with 2 different cable and same issue. But I will continue to use original cable with hub if it works.
I never tried with an adapter A to C, good to know.

looks like some software glitch after when i update podium hub self to the latest firmware (v6)
before that when i use v2 it was ok
could be because i use similar like this, but not sure

This means that it will be fixed sometime within a year or two. Maybe...
go back to driver 455
hello, I have new FFB losses on the DD+ base in 464 on PS5, more and more frequent.
no buttons work anymore, the pedalboard reacts correctly.
removing and replacing the steering wheel is useless, it is no longer recognized and requires updating.
The only solution is to turn the base off and on again.
It’s seriously starting to be painful not to be able to play peacefully.
you had a huge chance to be the only one to offer this type of product
Go back to 455 no problem…
what steering wheel you using?
I use PODIUM HUB WITH BME
probably need wait the next release. i think they aware of that this bme not work fully correctly
i think nothing work fully correctly atm
It would be nice for Fanatec to identify which hardware the database has bugs with, right?
try without bme, im not sure that podium hub self should cause issues
also bme is in they fix list. they been talk about that before

Sorry, if this has been reported already:

PBME on 464 all good except that in GT7 when pressing square the cross is also triggered.
This is a known Firmware issue to be fixed at some point in the future.
