I've struggled with installing the latest firmware to my GT DD Pro Base and found the culprit: don't use a USB-C only connection. After many attempts with different ports and cables, I finally used the originally provided USB-C (GT DD Pro) to USB-A (ThinkPad 495) cable, an within seconds, the firmware installed. Hope this helps.
I am not sure if this is known issue but I have found when using the fanatec control panel when you recalibrate the break pedal when in game "ACC" it stops the force feed back from working on the Clubsport DD+.
funny thing is today it seems currently all ok. perhaps this Axis what i talked earlier causes some weird issues, that it sometimes send out to the game the 2 axis message instead
Okay so I used the CSL Hub V2 on PS5 (GT7) and noticed that this problem is not present. Sequential shifter plugged into shifter 2 port works normally. But when connected to a PC with driver 463 or 464, the sequential shifter inputs on shifter 2 port become reversed. Upshift becomes downshift and downshift becomes upshift.
But when a SQ V1.5 shifter connected to shifter port 1 is put in sequential mode, the shifter inputs in shifter port 2 work normally and the input mapping is shared with the SQ V1.5 (PC games see upshift or downshift inputs on both shifters as the same button input). When the option to map the SQ V 1.5 sequential shifter to shifter paddles is enabled in the Fanatec app, the sequential shifter in port 2 also will work normally and will be mapped to the CSL Hub V2 paddles.
Summary:
PC Driver 464
CSL Hub V2 FW: 8
DD+ 2.2.4.0
WQR 1.1.0.3
PS5 - sequential shifter in shifter port 2 works normally
PC - sequential shifter in shifter port 2 becomes reversed
when SQ V1.5 shifter in shifter port 1 is set to sequential, the sequential shifter in shifter port 2 works normally but is mapped to the SQ V1.5 instead of the CSL Hub V2 paddle shifters
enabling “map sequential shifters to paddle shifters” will map both SQ V1.5 and sequential shifter in shifter port 2 to the CSL Hub V2 paddle shifters
I had the same issue on my DD+. I use a tablet with only USB C port so I decided to plug an USB C to USB C, I wanted to avoid any trouble using a USB Hub. But it didn't work I had the USB lost connexion message on the update.
I retry using the original USB C to USB B and USB Hub, no problem to update the FW.

My laptop is USB C only, so using the factory cable w A to C adapter and DD+ no issues - maybe its the non factory cable?
