I used the recommended settings polyphony gave us in the update notes . I did use the high torque key though .
I must say i was very surprised when i changed my in game settings especially the force feedback sensitivity . I am very happy with this update , I actually had fun driving . Definitely not perfect but a huge improvement imo
my in game sertings :
force feedback max torque 3 (for some cars or tracks 2)
force feedback Sensitivity 10
controller steering sensitivity 4 (middle)
Also worth noting abs settings to default or off , somehow the weak setting does strange things
Hey mate. May i know what's the recommended settings by polyphony as mentioned as i can't find it. Appreciate if you could share with me. Thanks. M using CS DD+ with CS F1 wheel.
my simulator was out of service for a long time. Now I’ve started it up again to play, but something seems off. I barely have any force feedback anymore, the steering wheel feels very light, and almost all the cars have self-oscillation. Do any of you have an idea what could be going on? I haven’t changed or modified anything, so I really can’t explain it. I read online that some things in the game itself were adjusted, and that there were also some changes to the force feedback. Does anyone know which settings I need to adjust to get back to normal driving? I’m using a DD Pro with 8NM. The whole situation is pretty puzzling.
okay, so have they finally managed to completely ruin this game in terms of force feedback? Now every vehicle has self-oscillation, and you can steer every car with just your little finger. There’s practically no force feedback anymore? Is that correct?
Yes I was suprised to find the Auto Setup on the tuning menu worked really well in GT7 w the DD+ as well. I did read out the settings and saved them to another slot so I could tweak them but overall PD did a great job w that
In game sensitivity I find 7-8 to produce a tighter feel in the steering but this is to taste. I suspect they used 5/5 as the reference point so adjusting up or down a bit shouldn’t be an issue for personal preference
hey all, need a tic of advice here. been a long time since I've used my dd pro and gt7.
my driver is still 439, guessing I should update that to 462 ?? or should I install something else ??
gt7 settings, there is an auto setup now ?? is that only for the podium , I see the 1.52 recommended low torque settings, or should i use something else ??
thanks so very much for your time, I greatly appreciate it
Any update on the recommended settings for GT7 (ideally the podium f1)?
After the update yesterday, my wheel is now getting horrible vibrations on understeer, where before it was really smooth and predictable. I will have a play with some settings tonight and see if I can fix it, but it would be nice to have a fresh set of recommendations from Fanatec on this :)
Does anyone know how to get rid of the vibration on understeer since the last update, it’s causing me major grief…….
i now can’t play after my missus has gone to bed, the vibration and rumble on understeer is so loud and aggressive now she can hear it upstairs in the bedroom, gutted cos she goes to bed at 22:30 and I normally then play till around midnight/1am depending on how tired or not I am.
I don’t want to keep her awake cos trust me she really does need her beauty sleep 😂😂 I’m a dead man if she sees this 🫣😂
One thing I did, which seemed to help (though in my opinion isn't quite the same feedback experience I had pre-update) was set it to AUTO setup, and then adjust the in-game values to suit yourself (I can't remember exactly where I ended up, I'll check when I play again, but I think it's at sensitivity 10, max torque 7)
I unbolted my base from my rig and put sound deadening pads under it, unbolted my podium clamps and wrapped sound deadening there, then put sound deadening between where the clamps attach to the base too, bolted it all back up again, then waited for the dragon to appear spitting flames at me……..
The dragon didn’t appear and I nailed 19th in world and 2nd in the Uk on daily race A 😬🤘🤘
fingers crossed that appears to have sorted it.
Its kinda taught me something too, I was doing my best not to get any understeer, not easy in that Civic, when the car is under steering I’m scrubbing speed and time off my lap, if I turn in at the right time, don’t approach the corner too fast and ease on the power I don’t really get any understeer and hence no nasty rumble. If you are feeling it too often, you’re driving the car too hard or aggressive, the rumble is telling you this.
I was too scared to go on any other race because of the rumble strips lol, I’ll see what it’s like on Spa tomorrow during the day and update how I get on 🫡
im on my second set of V3 pedals, bought the first set 9 years ago and bought the second set around four years ago, they are going strong and a great pedal set.
really tempted to buy another set but I’d defo go for the inverted ones this time around 👍🏼👍🏼
I have the same problem with my Fanatec Podium F1 on PS5 (Pro), I think since the 1.55 update. With sharp cornering causing understeer and with sliding the car, my wheelbase produces horrible oscillations/grinding sounds and feel. It is also worrying me, that it could damage my wheelbase. At least it feels/drives horrible like this. I’m still looking for better settings. Lowering FEI helps something, but also reduces force feedback quality I think and I’m not satisfied by that.
Does someone know a fix? Does someone know where I can directly report this to Polyphony Digital?

Hi, could someone share the settings for my Fanatec CS DD + Extreme? And also the in-game settings?

They were in the update notice for 1.52
If you take a look at the previous posts in this thread starting from october 3rd you may find a link
The model you are using doesn’t apply though
Thanks. Yeah i am still finding the right settings for the model i am using.

GT7 had an FFB update and it's been that way ever since.

A lot depends on the car you drive, some are not that bad.
I have updated the firmware and have now set the steering wheel to Auto Sense as recommended.
FFB Torque 5
FFB sens. 4
feels perfect with most of the cars

except for brake force…

Tried the Super Formula with the new GT7 update and the FFB is fixed.
Hello, settings with the new physics for the , clubsport DD+?
Does anyone from Fanatec monitor this?
I'm concerned that the new vibration (like a jackhammer) we get during heavy understeer could damage the unit...
I am constantly getting oversteer,my in game settings traction control off only when it is wet 2 but what about steering sensitivity???
Some say 4 some say 10,another guy says i am on 3??? very confusing!???
Hi,
The settings for Gran Turismo DD Pro are valid for the latest GT7 updates?
Hello,i want to buy the clubsport DD+ 15nm but i like the BMW M4 podium steering wheel does it fit on the DD+n wheelbase?
And wich pedals are top notch, this is all for ps5 and/or pc kind regards
Below relates to F1 Podium

I believe the M4 rim does work with the DD+.

Hello,i ordered the csl pedals LC so can u track ure order?
How long does it take before they ship it to me?
No track and trace?
I hope this wil work on my ps5 and gt dd pro wheelbase.
reducing FEI to 80 helps w the understeer rumble. This was also changed in the A_S autosetup w GT7. Also set int to 3
Is there any recommended DD+ Extreme wheel settings after update 1.55 ?
I see the DD Pro settings but that's a different wheel with different torque and 3 years old
Cheers

Patch notes from this weeks GT7 update saying they've reduced the vibration effect, can't confirm however as I've not played it yet.
Fixed in the 1.56 update
