After ca. 2 hours playing, steering and pedal input got "locked" (stayed where they were before "locked"), buttons on the wheel rim were not responding, need to reconnect USB connector and press PS button to regain normal control. It repeated about every 15~20 minutes since the first occurence.
During the issue force feedback seemed normal, still getting the feedback as it should from the game.
So, 6 pages of comments but no CSL Elite beta testers? I have a CSL Elite and use it on a PS4 with GT Sport (with Fanatec recommended wheel settings). I actually like this new driver v352 update, including the motor firmware, and would like to know how other CSL users feel about this update.
Like every other program you have installed on your pc. I think you should search at Google how te uninstall stuff from your pc if you are not experienced with that.
I really like this new update. Fantastic on my DD1. I now have, with the latest Raceroom Update and Alex Hodgkinsons Settings are much improved FFB. There are worlds between before and now.
One Question: Why 2520 degrees of rotation?
I drive ATS/ETS very often and I think, this could be a thing for those two simulations. Do someone from Fanatec know if there are any meetings with SCS software, or was it an own idea to implement this feature.
Are you using 100 [FEI] ? Because in Raceroom you will also get those random heavy FFB thumps (described in first Quote).
In ACC you can manage that with a 80 [FEI] setting and they are gone, in Raceroom you will still feel (even not that strong) some FFB thumps, but that often.
So I would also recommend for Raceroom to go with 80 [FEI] or below to be safe.
I'm driving also the same settings as Alex in raceroom. They are perfect. If somebody wants to use them:
In-Game settings for Raceroom:
FFB intensity: 100%
Smoothing: 0%
FFB Spring: 0%
FFB Damper: 5%
Steering Force Intensity: 45%
FFB Mini Force: 0%
Understeer; 17%
Vertical Load: 50%
Lateral Force: 50%
Steering Rack: 30%
everything else: User preference
Wheelbase settings:
[SEN] : Auto
[FF] : 100
[LIN] : off
[NDP] : 10
[NFR] : 5
[NIN] : off
[INT] : 6
[FEI] : 80 (don't go above 80! because of FFB thump problem)
[FOR] : 100
[SPR] : 0
[DPR] : 100 (should be always at 100, only adjust over ingame setting!)
Support won't answer you anytime soon regarding such an issue because they are not in charge for software issues. The persons in charge for driver and firmware development read this thread regularly.
In general: only write to the support if you have a technical issue with your hardware..
This axes input issue sounds so weird that I'm not sure if it's maybe even a defect. Why does it work so well of others and in the driver on PC it's working fine for you as far as I understood.
Did you run the motor calibration on the settings tab of the driver? You can check if the calibration saved by pressing the Tuning-Menu-Button + D-Pad DOWN, then you see the info screen and "ACV: - " means no calibration done and "ACV: V3" says calibration is done.
You aren't forgotten but this update was mainly aimed as a DD update as there was the most room for improvement because of the potent hardware capable of more. There is no fix yet for the notchy issue, do you have it very frequently and easy to reproduce?
We do lots of internal testing before something goes live but at some point we need public beta tests to get more users trying it as there are some issues like this FFB spike which only some have.
I can't get this driver to work on my DD1 PS4 at all. I've uninstalled the driver and reinstalled older versions and now my wheel base doesn't register anywhere, not even in that fanatec icon. I've tried several times and have checked the directory that the driver is installing to and still no joy. Any help to get my wheel back would be very helpful.
The motor driver version is not necessary for FanaLab to work correctly, there you can decide if you want to use v18, 20 or 22 in your case. I don't think you are doing something wrong here. In case you want to choose and try different motor firmware versions you can download them here in the first post https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/1058/fanatec-beta-driver-v347-for-csl-csw-all-wheels/p1
Done some more testing with fw 669, Drift Mode OFF has ALOT of damping and -05 even more, with it set at 005 it gets better but still not near enough to a free spinning wheel.

How do you set DRI? If you leave -5 you couldn't feel differences, I guess.
I have set DRI OFF and FEI to 70
I am getting the same thing, audible and tactile thud when shutting down my DD2 , running latest firmware

I really love this new firmware, good job Fanatec.
Same here on DD1.
Doesn´t work for me.
Uninstall the old driver
cleaned up the pc
after that creates a newstart
install the new driver
Fan runs fullspeed
try to flash the motor firmware
and get as least following message....
---> Error: Connect device failed(Error: UartPeripheral() cannot open PC UART port(COM3), speed(19200 Hz).).

Take Off your wheel rim.... then update.
Same thing, with or without Steering Wheel...
Bonjour.
Comment pouvez-vous revenir sur le conducteur 346. Je ne l'ai pas trouvé dans la documentation.
Je vous remercie
Please post your question in English so everyone can understand you, thanks.
Sorry
Hello.
How do you get back on the driver 346. I didn't find it in the documentation.
Thank you
Just uninstall the actual driver and install the 346 driver again. Then click on update wheel base and motor and you are back at 346 level.
Maybe it's game related. I see you are on iRacing while I'm playing DiRT Rally 2.0.
@Marcel Pfister wouldn't two separate thread (DD & CSL/CSW) be more readable?
I haven't figured out how to uninstall the driver 352?

Could you please share your new settings for Raceroom "PM", I am struggeling to get it right, both fanatec and in game :-)

Great thanks a lot, I also have the DD1 could post your wheel/Fanatec base settings as well, I would be greatful!
Should I contact support in respect of the sensitivity bug which have since V352, or will devs reply here in the forum?

I just put the new version, no change for my part on Iracing, always the same felt.
I try to keep the known issue section up to date so by that you should get an idea.
