Can someone from Fanatec try to reproduce an FFB problem?
It occurs with F1 2020.
platform PS4
Base: Fanatec DD and CSL Elite
You drive into the bend but you have great FFB without the influence of the car slipping, braking, etc. The FFB suddenly tips over in the bend.
The problem I have and other people with DD and CSL.
Can it be a Fanatec software bug that makes itself felt on the PS4?

Hi Sascha,
If you are playing on PS4, this means you are using the DD1 PS4, which comes with a Formula wheel ideal for this game, so can I ask why you are playing F1 2020 with a CSL Elite steering wheel (do you mean the P1? Or the McLaren?).

Sounds like the Enhanced Understeer effect, make sure to set this to OFF/Disabled.
i play with DD and the golden Formula. Just wanted to say that the error also occurs with CSL Elite Base.
It feels exactly the same but it is switched off!
I am also in contact with David Greco.
It would be nice if Fanatec tries to reproduce and solve the problem.
I have same problem, I have a csl elite f1 and playing on ps4. Going in to especially tight turns while braking the force feedback gives a really weird feeling, its like the force feedback notches mid turn. Firmware 672 wheel 22
It is important that you don't have oversteer, understeer or blocking wheels at the moment. All of this also makes the FFB light.
Hope Fanatec finds the bug. Certainly just a software thing.
Yes hopefully it’s just a bug, went back to f12019 and tested and no problem there.
As it looks, Codemasters has no problems on the PC and X Box. PS4 only ...
The FFB code is the same in the game. So it seems like a Fanatec problem ...?
just had a race in Singapore with rain in the end and the problem got to the point were it was terrible to drive. Please look in to this.
That is not necessarily true. If something is behaving strangely in one game, but the hardware behaves normally in all other games, then it is usually a game issue rather than a hardware/firmware issue. But we are looking into it.

Great to hear 💪🏼
This is very good news! Thank you for the excellent support !!!
Please check this post: https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/13952/ff-feeling-weird
Does this describe the same issue? If so, it seems it may not be unique to the PS4 version.

Yes, it's the same problem.
Short version:
You give in, have great FFB and suddenly it's gone (as if understeering was activated but is off).
It occurs although the car is not oversteered, not understeered and the wheels do not lock when braking. (It occurs when you don't brake)
There is no special type of curve. It can occur in medium-fast, slow or fast corners.
I am happy to help as I was the first to notice the problem in the beta phase of the game.
Yes sounds the same! For me it has been most obvious when driving in wet conditions
