What are the recommend changes to make to the default profile for AMS 2 to reduce the shaking of the wheel? Some of the more bumpy tracks give a lot of shaking back and forth but there isn't a lot of weight on the wheel, so it feels a bit sloppy and distracting to have all that shaking. Any recommended ways to reduce this? I only drive the Formula cars in that game so if anyone has any recommended changes for those specific cars I'd appreciate it. I'm not sure how well the AC:C profiles I use would translate in terms of overall settings to get the same feel in another sim.
first of all thank you Maurice for your profiles for iRacing. I really enjoy all of them (and I hope you'll give us profiles for the two new road cars that will be released tomorrow soon).
But I have a problem with the colour of the rev lights on my Podium Button Module Endurance. As you can see in the Youtube video, they keep switching their colours all the time between those that are set in Fanalab and the default ones. This happens with every car in iRacing and with different firmware and Fanalab versions.
You need to click on the Enable Fanalab LED Support Button in Fanalab for iRacing to see instruction how to disable the native LEDs in iRacing so they don't interfere with the Fanalab ones.
Thank you for the profile! I am very new to all this and I got your mx5 cup profile loaded to correct the LED color. On my CSL elite wheel with your profile, I don't get a green led, but only yellow and red. They also don't seem to align with the cars shift light in game. Can you think of a reason this might be happening?
Trying to optimise the force feedback settings on my DD2 + Formula V2 for the new cars in iRacing for season 4 (the p217 and C8R mostly in particular).
On the C8R the force feedback is brutal and the oscillations of the wheel too much for my liking. Any recommended adjustments to the default profile for these cars ?
In your iracing.rar file once I upload the profiles of the new cars, there is no value ... SEN, FF, LIN, NDP, NFR ect ... do you know why? thank you in advance
You can not delete the recommended settings profile. It s just a default profile with values of the recommended settings from the forum, you of course don't have to use them (in fact, I don't like them and use completely different values^^)
Any chance you are working on any AMS2 profiles? The feedback in that sim is rough on the recommend settings in the Formula cars. I'm getting some unnecessary jumps and spikes in the FFB. Or any recommendations would be hugely appreciated! :)
Hi Maurice, now that the new v1.47 has FF in percentages, does that mean I can use the same number for my DD1? Where as in the past I'd have to convert the number. TIA.
I have a question about your custom profiles. When I open them there are two numbers showing, if I undertstand correctly the first one is strenght and the second one is Nm? My base DD1 only goes to 20 NM if I'm correct but there are settings going up to 25Nm, should I adjust them to the max output from my base and how does that correspont with the strength number?
I see it mostly with GT cars who feel very heavy compared to LMP's who feel absolutly great. The difference for me is day and night, lots of detail with LMP, no details and heavy steering with GT.
Am I doing something wrong? Btw, tnx for the awesome work
Tried re-calculating the numbers as mentioned, the effect is even worse tbh because it increases the force needed to turn the wheel. I can't imagen that you need the amount off strength to turn a GT3 or GTE wheel. Does anyone use the same profiles and if so have the same experience?
I've been using Maurice's profiles since v1.12 and I pretty much just left it as it is. I want to chalk it up to personal preference since I don't mind the heavier setting (and laziness since I just want to drive 😅) . Maybe you can try lowering the FF or the max force to see if that'll work for you better. Maybe lowering the wheel/map range might help: I have the formula v2 wheel with 460* range instead of the 1060* that the wizard set me up with.

Hello. does anyone have a fanalab profile for dd1. iracing mclaren f1

Hello Everyone,

Thx.
You can try my profile for that car, included in my iRacing profile pack. I freakin love it!
Thanks Maurice,
This is great.
Much better than the default.
Hi Maurice,
In your iracing.rar file once I upload the profiles of the new cars, there is no value ... SEN, FF, LIN, NDP, NFR ect ... do you know why? thank you in advance
Am I the only one guys?
up
Most likely because you either are on an older Fanalab version or you have a different base which needs a re-save of the profile.
Hi Maurice,
My version is 1.23 BETA Fanalab
Yep, that's too old for my profiles, you need 1.47B
Ah ok i dowload the good version now, thx very well Maurice ;)
For info I have the DD1:
By installing version V1.47 there are already default profiles for iracing preinstalled.
Should I still download and install your Iracing.rar file and delete the existing profiles by those downloaded in Fanalab?
Last question, the profiles are still calibrated for DD2, we agree?
Thank you Maurice in advance

Ok THX Maurice
Last thing do you have the profile for the Mc Laren Mp4-30 for Iracing on Fanalab V1.47 please?
This is the only profile I miss
No, I don't drive that car. Only made profiles for cars I drive
Ok THX Maurice

FF hasn't changed. You still need to convert it to DD1 levels.
Thanks for clarifying. Cheers.

If you look back one page, and you'll see the answers if you look for my posts.
Tnx. I totally missed that one.
