I already have the Podium Racing Wheel F1 so I thought I would buy the The Podium Steering Wheel Porsche 911 GT3 R. put it together and then started to download latest driver but can't get it to work.
and then I get an error message on screen. see photo. has anyone got any ideas what's going wrong. the fanalab won't recognise it.
Many thanks

what do you mean by latest drivers? You need atleast driver 356 for the PBME and update the firmwares.
Drivers that are on the fanatec site for the wheel.
Apologies I’m a novice.
please download driver 381 https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/21631/fanatec-driver-381-release-candidate-for-csl-csw-and-podium-bases-all-wheels
or driver 402 https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/22210/fanatec-driver-402-before-399-incl-new-firmware-manager-for-csl-csw-and-podium-wb-all-wheels
uninstall the old driver, restart your system, install the new one, restart your system again and follow the firmware manager to update all the firmwares of your devices, after that your PBME should be working as intended.
thank you for your help. 😀
you're welcome :)
sadly it doesn't see the wheel. I also tried it on a friends rig too. same thing. this is mine.
and a friends rig same wheel.
can you try to replug the BME on the Podium hub?
tried unplugging and replugging. baffling
best to contact support then...
Hi have the same problem. Make the firmware update, everything is ok but when start the wheel have the same message. I can't do nothing. Do you have any return of solution?
I am and have been talking to support with pictures, explanations etc. not got anywhere. I have also reverted to having my emails translated to German as one email I did get back thought I wanted some sort of deal. this company is a joke when it comes to customer care and support,
I spent thousands with this company thankfully this has only been the one issue. I am going simhub next time.
Going simhub?
Same here. I updated firmware to 450 and also updated Fanalab. I tried my wheel on my friends base (same as mine) and it worked. Tried his wheel (same wheel as mine) and his didn't work. To me that indicates there's issues with the base. The base is getting power as it goes thru wheel calibration. As the rest, still waiting to here from fanatec.
