Malfunctioning Clutch paddle - Podium Steering Wheel Porsche 911 GT3 R
Dear members,
I use the Podium Racing Wheel F1® for Gran Turismo Sport on PlayStation®5. Everything works fine, the upper magnetic paddles are mapped (without extra configuration) to Left/Right signal lights by default.
A few months ago, I bought a Podium Steering Wheel Porsche 911 GT3 R to replace the F1 wheel. It works fine but the (in-game) Left/Right signal lights are NOT mapped to those upper magnetic paddles. Even worse, the right signal light is always on when the race started. Meanwhile, I can turn it off by using the controller, however, once switching back to the wheel, the right signal light gets turned on again automatically. Occasionally, I found the clutch paddles somehow can impact the signal lights, but in a very bizarre way that when pressing the clutch paddles, those signal lights start On and Off randomly.
Wondering anyone has encountered the same issues by any chance? At this point, I can't tell which one is problematic, Podium Advanced Paddle Module or Podium Hub from the Podium Steering Wheel Porsche 911 GT3 R. To troubleshoot and rule out in-game configuration issues, I switched the F1 wheel and Podium Steering Wheel Porsche 911 GT3 R back and forth several times, the issue never came to the F1 wheel.
Context:
Fanatec Driver: 423 (Tried 410, 412, and 415, the issue persists)
Fanatec Lab: 1.57.4 (Tried 1.57.2, the issue persists)
Base: Podium Racing Wheel F1®
Console: PlayStation®5
Game: Gran Turismo Sport
Pedals: ClubSport Pedals V3
After updating the driver to 423, manually flashed firmware on all hardware.

UPDATE Oct 30th
When skimming through https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/24010/fanatec-driver-423-for-csl-csw-and-podium-wb-all-wheels#latest thread, I found the report from Mr. Kevin Hayes. The exact same issue happens to him as well. Inspired by his comment, I rolled back to 402 drivers, and the issue was resolved.
Here are things I've tried so far:
Hence, I think it is safe to rule out the possibility of hardware issues.
At the same time, the upper paddles on my Podium Playstation F1 wheel always work, and the clutch paddles are with no issues across versions 420 to 432.
Hi - I also have exactly the same issue -
I upgraded from the F1 wheel on my PS F1 DD1, to the Porsche GT3 with Endurance Button module, and I'm experiencing exactly the same issue - coming out of the pits my right indicator comes on, I can toggle the clutch paddle and after lots of attempts, some of which turn the left indicator on, I'm able to turn it off - very frustrating!

Hi Nick,
Exactly, exactly.
So far, I found 3 ppl, if not more, reported the same issue. More discussions about this issue in https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/24010/fanatec-driver-423-for-csl-csw-and-podium-wb-all-wheels#latest
Hope the issue could get escalated sooner.
At this moment, according to what I tried, the Podium Steering Wheel Porsche 911 GT3 R only works with Driver 402 (all components need rollback, base + motor + hub + BEM. Partially rollback hub + BEM doesn't help).
Best,
Wayne
Hi, it has exactly the same problem, I don't know what to do with it, not even the latest upgrade helped
Have the exact same behavior... left clutch seems like it's cycling through, 1-right indicator, 2-left indicator and 3- no indicator... very hard to find the "no indicator"... hoping for an update that fixes this...
Hi Patrik,
The latest 434 firmware has this fixed. :)
That sounds good! However, where would I find that driver. The one I find on the download page is 429.
