BMW CLS Steering Wheel recognized as P1 for PlayStation 4 and makes the Fanatec app crash

Hi guys,
My BMW CLS Steering Wheel isn't recognized by the Fanatec app but it's seen as P1 for PlayStation 4.
When I try to enter the wheel setting page, the Fanatec app crashes.
I'm using a CSL DD motor and I tried with both 439 and 440 drivers with the same results.
Any clues?
Thanks!

That's a known issue of the current drivers.
Is there a driver version that works fine with my wheel?
No.
Hi Marco,
You could try 429. https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/24151/fanatec-driver-429-428-427beta-before-for-csl-csw-and-podium-wb-all-wheels#latest
This is the driver we show as working in our video guide for the CSL Steering Wheel BMW.
But I would say that you are not really missing anything by using 440 - the wheel should be working fine, and you can change all your Tuning Menu settings via the Tuning button on the wheel itself. There is currently a bug that is causing the driver UI to crash, but the driver itself should be working (in terms of allowing you to operate your Fanatec hardware in all PC games).
It is also normal that the wheel shows as different 'P1' type wheel - the CSL Steering Wheel BMW is identical to the P1 / P1 V2 electronically, which is why we give the option to manually select the correct picture of the wheel in the UI (which you would be able to do if it wasn't crashing!).
This UI bug will be fixed in a future driver version.

Oh good then, thanks a lot for the complete answer.
