Hi, first of all thanks for this app. I had an F1 esport V2 and now with this version all is working fine, but I have some questions about McLaren V2 led configuration and this app.
I need to show constantly speed, number of gear when it changed and the brackets when I need to change the gear. This mode is totally avalaible in ACC with the Fanatec Plugin, but it’s not work with Fanalab unless I disable the constant speed.
Why this option is not working with Fanalab? I’m missing something?
To mass import the files is it just a matter of selecting the Import button and selecting all files in the folder you want to import?? I tried with the iRacing folder profiles from your zip file and it didn't work but doing them individually works fine. Whats the trick ?
However, if I would have one I would have connected it to the Base directly instead of pedals. There is a reason why the base has a dedicated Handbrake Port...
The pedals have a dedicated Handbrake Port because older Belt Bases did not had a dedicated Handbrake Port.
As newer DD Bases now have a dedicated Handbrake Port, that's the one which imo should be used and the one on the pedals becomes unneccessary in the future and most likely sometime in the future new pedals wont have a dedicated Handbrake Port anymore as that's done on the Base.
The new FanaLab Version 1.64.5 you use is only compatible to the new driver 442 which you are also running and that driver has a new Firmware for the Pedals included which should be used.
Disconnect the RJ12 cable from the pedals and connect them via USB, open the driver UI and see that a new Firmware update is available for your pedals.
After update you can Disconnect the USB cable again and connect them via RJ12 again to the base.
Make sure to never ever run both connections at the same time!
Which steering wheel and which base are you using?
Could be intended if you dont have a Wheel which enables High Torque Mode as this is one of the many new changes of the new firmwares of driver 442 where FFS is now intentionally Locked to Linear Mode when the base is in Low Torque Mode.
I want my current race position to show on the steering wheel OLED display, using iRacing, however this doesn't seem to work at all, is this not supported in iRacing for some reason?
A second issue, if I choose "current lap" to display, it seems very hit and miss if this will actually show anything either.
Using something more "traditional" like gear or speed, displays perfectly, so seems like an issue with these telemetry options and iRacing?
Well... It's not listed in the Changelog as being fixed so yes, this issue is still in there and it's known.
BTW, your Firmware is outdated.
When you use this new Fanalab version, please also update the driver to 442 and update the base firmware to 691 and wheel firmware to 45 for the best functionality.
Comments
Are the pedals properly recognized in the driver UI?
Note that driver 442 is needed for this FanaLab Version.
Installed v442 today and updated everything. Everything works as it should. Pedals are recognized correctly.

Yup, PBME still freezing for me in AMS2. Disappointing. Like you it's random but it happens in almost every session normally within an hour.
Good to know it is not just me then! Yes within the hour for me too.

There is no trick...
Just select all the profile you want to add and click on open, thats it.
Just tried with my F1 profiles and its working fine.
Here is again the short "manual" how to do so from the v1.63 version where that feature was introduced:
Yep thats what I tried with the iRacing profiles, will try again, thanks for the quick answer
Maurice do you have any idea why my V3 pedals are not showing up in FanaLab?
Could it be because I connected the handbrake to the pedals and not to the base?
Could be, I dont know..
Does it make any difference if the handbrake is on the pedals or on the base?
Removed the handbrake from the pedals but makes no difference. Pedals are still greyed out in FanaLab.
I dont have a Handbrake so I dont know.
However, if I would have one I would have connected it to the Base directly instead of pedals. There is a reason why the base has a dedicated Handbrake Port...
So best option for you is just to give it a try.
Probably the same reason that the pedals have a dedicated handbrake port; a convenient orifice to plug in the handbrake? :-)
Solved 😬
The pedals have a dedicated Handbrake Port because older Belt Bases did not had a dedicated Handbrake Port.
As newer DD Bases now have a dedicated Handbrake Port, that's the one which imo should be used and the one on the pedals becomes unneccessary in the future and most likely sometime in the future new pedals wont have a dedicated Handbrake Port anymore as that's done on the Base.
Have now connected the handbrake to the base and it works the same as on the pedals.
The problem with the grayed out pedals in FanaLab still persists.
Ade Allen had the same problem here https://forum.dev.fanatec.com/discussion/15205/fanalab-1-47-hotfix-download-post-your-feedback-here/p5.
There you have it on a drop down arrow under the gray silhouette point out.
But I don't have the arrow. I only have one by the steering wheel.
Which Firmware do you have flashed to the Pedals? The new 1.34 from Driver 442?
Bought the pedals in 2017 and never did an update. Where can I see the firmware from the pedals?
That could be the reason.

Make sure to never ever run both connections at the same time!
Thank you Maurice
I'll let you know if it worked as soon as I did the update.
When I connect the pedals via USB, FanaLab recognizes them. Also with firmware 1.30.
Updated to 1.34 and reconnected the pedals to the base. Unfortunately still greyed out.
Same issue here, solkved in the same mode. Thanks Maurice.
Hello
in the new version it is not possible to switch PEAK -----> LINEAR

To me in this version the issue with Flag LEDs still happening, the cyan color keep inverted with yellow color
The previous thread about it: https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/25118/fanalab-1-63-download-post-your-feedback-here/p4#
In this image we can check the Flag LED in cyan
In FormulaV2 this LED works in Yellow. And attention to the situation: The Rev LED works fine with the correct colors (Rev LED - Pit Limiter)
So, in Caution Flag (Yellow, Safety Car situation) theses leds blink with Cyan Color

Podium D01 + uniwersal Hub xbox one
That wheel Supports High Torque Mode and therefore also FFS...
Maybe you did not enabled the Torque message on the Podium DD Display? Is it shown properly in the Driver UI?
yes, I was -
now I had to use an older version to get everything working :(
