CSL Elite doesn't switch on
Hi,
I bought a new CSL Elite base and had to update the firmware. The update failed and got stuck as mentioned in here https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/22954/fanatec-csl-elite-stuck-in-update.
I removed the drivers and reinstalled them. Had to restart my pc and now the wheel base doesn't power on anymore.
All it does is blowing the fan and the red LED switched on when I hold the Power Button.
I am heartbroken and have no Idea what to do.

if you hold the power button, it should go into the FW update mode, retry installing the FW - also, try different USB ports if the first one doesn't work, that was my issue.
Yes I found this post https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/1185/csl-elite-wheel-base-doesnt-power-following-failed-firmware-update, but it doesnt work for me.
Tried it with the USB connected to several Ports, even another pc. But it doesnt start the Bootloader mode.
Sounds like a bricked base.

Yep, had this issue - had it RMA’d 3 months after because I didn’t have time to send it in, got a whole new PC before even sending it & what do you know? Got it back today, tried installing their firmware & oop, same uninstall drivers, etc. BS and my base got bricked yet again! :) all within an hour of receiving it again, safe to say I am beyond pissed. I love Fanatec but my luck so far with their stuff is unreal.
Oh my ... That doesn't sound good. I RMA'd it today. Lets see what happens. Maybe I can Update the firmware from another pc...
It shouldn't be possible to brick it anyways...
New firmware also killed my CSL Elite for PS4. Looks like Fanatec is killing older wheelbases on purpose. I contacted support and expect a quick response.
