Changelog since version 1.47
Rev-LED flash pattern (new feature)
The pattern you select for the "Rev LED Flash" (1) will flash when the engine RPM reaches the set threshold (2). In the example picture all LEDs will flash in red when the RPM threshold of 89.87% is reached. By default this feature is deactivated and the flash will happen in the general pattern of your Rev-LEDs.

How to report issues:
- List which hardware, driver and firmware you are using

- Is it happening with just one game (which one) or all you tried.

Brilliant, thank you,
Looking forward to the updated profiles from Maurice!!
Great work fanatec, looking forward to trying out the flasher.
Already uploaded in the "Share your favorite profiles" thread but no problem to share them here again :)
Over 30 cars benefit from this new Flash Pattern Feature :)
Thank you mate, as always very much appreciated. Love your work!!
Glad you like my work :)
Quite a bit of work goes into each profile with the current % solution for the RPM which makes it extremely difficult to find the exact % point where the in game LED starts to light up....... ^^
thx maurice👍️
Awesome! Thanks for the update. I love Fanalab.
Maurice do you know if it is possible that some time in the future fanalab can talk to the appropriate car data files to automatically set the correct rev lights?
wicked!
Thanks for the profiles Maurice.. :)
A brilliant new feature, thanks, Fanatec!
I use the 380 driver, latest firmware.
The problem detected, with a bmw wheel, is that the speed is marked in miles instead of km, and in setting it is set in km.
This ONLY happens with a BMW wheel and with no other wheel you have tried...?
Would be weird... Which game did you tried? Is it happening in every game?
You can try to reset the Fanalab settings back to default within the settings...
Which game?
What happens if you change the setting?
The games don't offer this in their shared memory, accessing individual game files per game which all do it differently and per car would be imens and pretty much impossible without an extrem amount.
We plan and are working on to add saving/automatic loading per car. When this is implemented then we should be able to implement already done profiles from Maurice to be automatically suggested like the recommended FFB settings right now or offer them through a new button or set to default default button. But to do this for every car in existence is also a bit much, but people could help and send us profiles to be added.
I have tried it now with several 888 Display wheels (in particular WRC and Formula eSport because I dont have a BMW wheel) and the speed is shown correrctly in kmh when I have kmh selected in FanaLab and it changes properly to mph when I select it within FanaLab and it finally also correctly switches back to kmh when I re-select kmh again.
I could have only imagined that all 888 Display wheels could have this issue but they dont, so its either a BMW exclusive or something is wrong on your side.. :/
I think it's either with a specific game he tried or something is buggy on his end and he should try resetting settings and re-installing.
Like explained in the first post, when experiencing an issue, please double check with other games and hardware if available to find out which influences the issue.
Sorry, I did the tests and I thought I put everything, it is in iracing, it also happens with formula v2, if I change to miles it stays in miles and I go back to km and it stays in miles, in the game if I change from miles to km if it changes in the game display, but the wheel is always in miles.
I also did a reset of seting and it stays the same.
and with the mclaren mp30 the LEDs do not work as it happened in the previous version, in iracing
Thanks, was now able to reproduce it in iRacing (previously tested in ACC and it works fine there so its a game specific issue with iRacing).
Thanks, we'll probably bring a hotfix next week then, I'll add it to the known issues until then.
Hi I am struggling a bit with fanalab: it's a powerfull and very convenient tool, once you set it up right it's perfect and inivisible but it's a headache for me to configure it right.
So I am running windows 10 2004
Driver: 380
Base: clubsport 2.5
wheel: porsche 918 RSR/ F1 2020/Mclaren/BMW
pedals: CSP V3
shifter: V1.5
handbrake: V1.5
When I jumped to the previous version, I made a mistake and all my profiles were saved on the setup index n°2 on the wheel.
I had to do a clean install of windows today, I exported my profiles (I even made a copy of my FanaLab\settings folder)
So basically, on my wheel every game is running on setup index n°2, I would like to change it to have something more easy to read for me
1 assetto corsa
2 rfactor 2
3 R3E
4 F1
5 kartkraft
Do I have to start every profile from scratch? I tried to load a profile, change the setup index and save the profile: it overrides to something I didn't set myself.
Thank you.
You have two options. Either load every profile, go into the Tuning menu in Fanalab and change the setup ID (which will unfortunately load what was previously loaded in that Set) and then Resave the profile or you open Esch pws file manually with an Editor tool and then change the setup ID in there which would be the best way to do it.
how do i use theses profiles where do i put them fanalab noob here thanks
you can unzip the files anywhere on your computer that you can find easily. Under Game Profile in FanaLab, you
That's it.
and are these profiles good for v2.5 and do they change the ffb settings per car automatically or you have too set them before playing the game ?
and do you have a profile for the lmp 2 in iracing PLEASE ?
Just updated to Fanalabs V 1.51 and its telling me under the vibration settings tab
Steering Wheel, Clubsport Steering Wheel
( List of settings here)
Pedal brake: Clubsport Pedals V3, VIBRATION NOT SUPPORTED
Pedal Throttle: Clubsport Pedals V3, VIBRATION NOT SUPPORTED
anyone know what is going on with the vibration settings for pedals. I tried updating the firmware but it still wont show. I'm sure it was there before.
Thank you for this update!
Did the old Fanalab have a default for rFactor 2 that was removed?
I remember it used to set my FFB at 45 (DD1) when I launched the game through fanalab, but it no longer does that.
Those profiles were created on a DD2 so while you can update the FFB to 100 for most profiles (at least for iRacing and ACC to my knowledge), it won't be as perfect but it's a good start. You'll have to load game specific car specific profiles each time. There are no auto settings.
Hello @all,
and thanks for the new update. 👍️ I have a question about the LED display in Race Room.
I play with a CSL Elite F1 Esports Racing Wheel PS4 on PC. The new Firmware 380 and Fanlab 1.51 is already installed.
I want to disable the gear indicator (Race Room) on the display so that only the speed is shown. The GEAR is set to "Don´t Display, but GEAR is showed ingame? Please see my attached screenshot.
What am I doing wrong here? It would be nice if you could also answer in German. Just for better understanding. 😀
Many thanks for your help!
Best regards, Thomas
You need to disable the in game LED option / cycle through the Fanatec LED options in game so its disabled and FanaLab can control the display.
Ah, thank you! I´ll try.
