Is this a hardware problem ?

Hi,

I just purchased my first Fanatec setup but it won't work.

The base is detected.

As soon as the wheel is plugged, it disconnects the base (and the wheel leds never work).

However, the wheel is detected when I'm in the 'update firmware' menu, so it's not like it not working at all.

I've tried every possible advice and tricks I found online. I'm wondering if the is a hardware problem or if I can do something to make it work?

to you calibrate your steering wheel? after firmware update you need todo this

Your black clamp is positioned incorrectly.

I saw it from the video, it must be horizontal to the right when you insert the steering wheel, not downwards.

That said, I assume it has nothing to do with your problem. This is a recurring defect reported with dozens of posts on this site. You must open a ticket and wait for an RMA.
