Try the workarounds I have posted dozens of times in this thread or wait for the next version which will fix the Crashing issues and is targeted to be released today.
Also, the new Forza is currently not supported by FanaLab, so its not possible to control the LEDs or the Display via FanaLab for this game.
And right in time for the new FanaLab V2.00.09 RC here are my latest profiles - to be used ONLY with FanaLab V2.00.09 and newer versions due to another change in the pws structure which makes the profiles incompatible with any older Lab version.
Changes:
Added new profile for F2 2022 & 2023 cars with adjusted FFB strength
Added new ProfileCarsList_F1_23 to bind the new profile to all F2 2022 and F2 2023 cars
Corrected Flash value of the Ferrari 296 GT3 iRacing profile in 6th gear from 7000 RPM to 6900 RPM
When we download Maurice's profiles the downloaded zip file gets the same name as shown on the post, but when we download the Fanalab zip file the file name is giberish (random characters). Could you please fix this. It is REALLY ANNOYING for many of us, I have seen other posts asking for this to be remedied.
Thats normal because Marcel uploads from the admin forum and I upload from the regular forum as the regular forum only allows uploads of max 100 Mb (which both driver and FanaLab are well over). This restriction is only possible to workaround by going into the admin forum and when uploading from there the download files get such crazy weird names.
hi, what am i doing wrong iv just downloaded the laestest version of the presets for fanalabs and it seems every car has tuning menu preview or telematory preview, i think i followed the READ ME file correct, i updated the iracing car files, please help
just to note before i downloded the latest vervion i had the old one and itt was al work correcly,
Can confirm that with the new 2.00.09 release candidate the flooding of the error message is fixed 👍
Maurice, whenever there is a new fanalab version released, you also release a new version of your profiles. When there is no change in the ACC profiles (like this 2.00.09 release), is it ok to not update to the new profiles and just stay on the previous profile version? Which will be updated with the new pws structure automatically once you update fanalab?
Why? because that saves me a lot of time with changing the LED's on the wheel 😊
Can we assume that in the (near) future we can also expect native support for the FanaLab application in combination with FM? It's really a pity that e.g. telemetry data can't be displayed in the Fanatec app so far.
This is either a FW issue or a game issue (as AMS2 seems to be the only game where it happens frequently), not a FanaLab issue.
There will be a fix for ITM page switching which causes freezing of the BME in the next driver release which would fix all freezing issues from the FW, if its still freezing with that FW then the game needs a fix via a game update.
That's good to know Maurice. When it freezes it is when I cross the finish line to start a new lap and the display switches to show laptime at that point so hopefully it is that FW issue you mentioned that will be fixed.
Hey Maurice, I have a slight issue with Fanalab. Whenever I switch car in ACC from my default (Porsche 992 GT3) the RPM range stays the same, so the LEDs dont work properly anymore. I can fix it kinda with percentage, but I imagine every car's profile has their own RPM range? Could you tell me what I did wrong? TIA
Yes, every car needs their own special RPM values, no car is the same.
So you need to load the profile of the other car, either manually or via CDALP so it gets loaded automatically when you load the car. For that I have already created profiles for EVERY car in ACC which I have shared above.
Thanks for the quick reply! One more thing, in order to get my FFB settings to kind of match your profiles, what should I run? I have a CSL DD which only has 8Nm of force, so a lot of the inputs feel very weak.
I tried disabling the tuning settings so it doesnt take the wheelbase settings from your DD2, but then the LEDs dont work properly. I get the issue I described above where it only uses the default profile rev range
The tuning menu settings of my profiles are for Podium DD only, sry.
You need to load the profiles without the Tuning Menu checkbox checked on the "Load" box, so the right side, but with only the LED checkbox checked. That way the Lab will only load the LED settings from the profile and nothing else.
If you want to use CDALP... then my profiles are ´not for you as CDALP can always only load everything or nothing from a profile. Then you would need to manually load each profile with only the LED stuff and overwrite it with the other settings like Tuning Menu etc.

2.00.09 release candidate available

Changes:
As always: Have fun with the profiles :)
Here are the logs again.
NOTE: only the FLControl file has logs.
I'm going to test the new version that has just been made available. I hope you fixed the issues. Thank you for making the effort to help.
If you still have crashes with the new version 2.00.09 please report back and upload new Log files like the above.
resolved. thanks
Is the new Fanalab version download very slow for anybody else? Averaging about 75kb/s.
No, it's your Internet. I just loaded it within 10 seconds.
Thanks. Speedtest's fine, Nvidia driver downloaded in 10 seconds. Must be routing gone wrong from my ISP to Fanatec servers then.
Maurice, thanks for the support. After this new update, all my problems are gone.

Not possible to fix this in this forum software.

thankyou for your help
You didnt read the VERY important sentence that my profiles ONLY work with v2.00.09 and newer versions.
As you can see in your Screenshot you use the wrong old v1.69.7 which is completely incompatible with my profiles.
So... Update FanaLab and everything will work again.
OK. I appreciate the explanation for what the problem is. This is the first I've heard about why there are the differences. Thanks for explaining!
perfect thank you

Previous (unchanged) profiles will work and get converted to new pws structure automatically, yes :)

Hi Maurice, can I get some advice mate
Hallo liebes Fanatec-Team,

Thanks a lot for your great work.

It's on the list to look if the FM Telemetry can be added to FanaLab in the future, yes.
This does not mean that it gets added, it just means that the possibility gets analysed.
Still having issues with the PBME freezing in AMS2. The latest patch does not seem to have fixed that.
