Why would influencers inform/warn about this, if they wouldn't get free products from Fanatec? Are you crazy? :) They'd rather smile in all directions and shake Thomas's hand.

I was recently asked to decide between waiting for the delivery of my order 1829XXX or canceling it and receiving a 25% voucher.
I chose to wait for delivery.
However, it doesn't stay that way...
1 - When I placed the order (I was one of the first customers to place the order on November 24th) the V2.5 X steering wheel was in stock.
2 - By choosing to buy material from FANATEC, I gave up buying other discounted Black Friday offers from other brands.
3 - Deliveries of 2.5X flywheels were made after mine (they didn't respect the order and chose customers to deliver to).
4 - They didn't provide any clarification to customers and constantly gave incorrect information, informing them that all orders from the 24th had been processed and would be sent (while they were already processing orders from the following days).
5 - From the outset, they posted information that the order had been dispatched. Although they made it clear that it hadn't been sent to the carrier, but to the warehouse, which had stock waiting to be processed (orders without stock didn't have shipping information).
6 - It took them 3 weeks after all these errors to inform me that the order wouldn't be delivered before Christmas...
It doesn't stay that way...
My complaint to the ECC will continue and I expect compensation from FANATEC. I feel aggrieved and have been forced to make another purchase to compensate for the non-delivery before Christmas.
I have this new status since friday... doesn't really mean anything. They just change the labbel to make it more accurate but the real status of the order is the same...
For all those who will cancel the order and want to look elsewhere - you can try to write a DM on Facebook to Assetek to see if there will be any discount for you as a cheated Fanatec. When there are enough of us, come up with something ;)
What a total disappointment. Ordered on the 24th (184xxxx, DD8nm, V3 pedals and V2.5x) and got the email about expected delivery in March. I would have accepted the v2.5 in stead, but they chose not to offer this simple solution so I decided to cancel the order. Given the way they (don't) communicate to customers and the fact that these supply chain problems were not just caused by BF but already existed for months, I have 0% faith that they can guarantee delivery end of March even if I would decide to wait.
Also the 25% discount offered to people who cancel is a total joke. Basically they are sold out till at least april '24, so ordering anything before that date will still mean a very long waiting time. Basically you then just pay more to wait longer.... Oh and finding out that people who placed their order 3 days after me already got their v2.5X, despite you saying you handle orders in sequence, is again more prove of your incompetence.
So for me, Fanatec is done. Even buying second hand (with or without guarantee) is out of the question as I don't want to risk ending up with a product that might need repair or replacement as their customer service is basically non-existent.
I hope they can quickly take care of the refund so we can close this chapter without too much further hassle and move on to one of the competitors.
I have a proposal for fanatec to hear us, it is to report the fanatec site as fraud and maybe there they will make communications yes I know it's not very good but I'm fed up with fanatec responding not to email
I'm thinking of having a couple of beers on Friday and going through this Fanatec scam case on Twitch :D i fucking dont care anymore. I think we need to make couple videos how fun sim driving was before we order Fanatec and share those in social media. :>

It's simple. If you are new to the Fanatec ecosystem and haven't bought anything yet, RUN FOREST, RUN!!!!.
If you already have Fanatec gear and can't avoid the coitus, just stay silent and enjoy it, as they say in my country...
10% is crap it's not even a quarter of the reduction of v2.5x fanatec assume your mistake

Yes, there are too less people saying exactely the right stuff.
I‘m fully aware of the guys that just want to have the „free stuff“ to „Test“…
But also their reputation is suffering from this. I haven‘t trusted those people before, but it was useful to get an idea of what to buy..
To be honest, if I had to „Influence“, I would wait until the situation is better.
But luckily, I‘m just the stupid guy that had to buy somewhere else…

my order status now has changed from "completely shipped" to "handover to warehouse"

They offer voucher for all products, but you can't buy anything with stock to do one bundle.

Hardcore solution, but disappearing will do. If nothing else, it will prevent other customers from being cheated.
