I updated the driver to 455 and Fanalab to 2.01.21...Fanalab won't open since. I tried multiple work around you mentioned in various post and nothing seems to work.
You are probably right as i tested my wheel in ACC with fanalab closed and enabled Fanatec Leds in options/ general and everything worked fine nothing frozed yet. So now makes me wonder when i downloaded Maurice cars profiles for ACC could that be it? as before i did not have them and everything worked fine with fanalab and my wheel. Or its something else in fanalab causing this issue.
It is a CS DD exclusive issue, related to a QR overload which just happens easier with FanaLab (and especially with my profiles as my profiles do quite a lot regarding LED and Display features) which the native game LED support simply does not do and therefore it is much less likely that the issue happens without the Lab.
It is just the question if this QR overload can be fixed with Firmware or if it needs a hardware fix. This will be investigated with highest Prio in the coming days and weeks.
Would love to see implementation of iRacing push to pass for LEDs and countdown timer on the LCD of the fanatec wheels. Specifically hoping for this for the Super Formula. Would also like to see the brake temperature LED indications for the Super Formula, but I will have to request this with the iRacing team as well because I don't think they share that data. They do share the data needed for Push to Pass and would love to be able to use this with FanaLab!
HI Maurice and thank you for the clarification on what the issue is. My question to you is if it ever is a physical fix of the QR overload, does that mean that ppl will have to send there bases to fanatec for repair? I hope its not i hope it could be resolved with Firmware. And Thank you for the profiles and the hard work.
Does this issue affects every CS DD base or only some of them? I have plans to ugprade to CS DD but this doesn't look good as I don't have any issue with my CSL DD.
Fanalab loads profiles by its own when you press "Practice", "Race" or "Get to grid" in iRacing. Only then Fanalab knows which car is selected and which profile should be loaded.
List which hardware, driver and firmware you are using
Wheel Base : ClubSport DD Wheel Base firmware 2.0.1.4
Wheel Base Rim : ClubSport Steering Wheel Formula V2 Firmware 47
Wheel Base Pedal : ClubSport Pedals V3 N/A Latest though
Wireless QR 1.0.0.3
Fanalab version: 2.01.21 The problem is also visible in the Fanatec Control Panel.
Cross check with other settings, games and wheels to see if it's a general issue or specific with to a game, wheel or setting.
This affect any game that I have set to Setup 1 in Fanalab.
Is it happening with just one game (which one) or all you tried.
This affect any game that I have set to Setup 1 in Fanalab.
Go into detail how we can reproduce the issue.
Setup 1 seems to be stuck on the max torque output even after reducing the FFS (force feedback strenght). All other setup indexes work well.
For example Setup 2 I have FFB to 57% so Max torque output shows 6.8 Nm. Setup 3 and 4 I have FFB to 60% so Max torque output is 7.2 and Setup 5 I have the FFB to 55% so Max torque output is 6.6Nm. I have Setup 1 set to FFB of 65% and it shows Max torque output of 12 Nm.
In iRacing the pitlane LEDs stay always on when using my BMW GT2 v1. When driving my Formula V2, everythings works fine, the pitlane LEDs are only on, when being in the pitlane.
Apologies if this has been asked before but there are a lot of pages to search through.
I have the Podium Button Module Rally and have it enabled in Fanalabs. I'm trying to set the backlights to use all flags but just cannot get it to work. They work just fine on my Formula V2 wheel.
It doesn't work in AC nor ACC.
I'm on driver 455 and latest firmware is installed.

thanks for your answer
I go through parallels desktop software to have wondows 11
It should work, right?
No. It wont work. It only works on old Intel based Macbooks, not on Apple Silicon M Macbooks.
I don’t understand parallels desktop software works well on my mac book pro apple Silicon
I can install FANALAB but not the drivers
Correct.
The driver is completely incompatible with M Macs (even when using Parallels).
thank you for your answer
Will one day Fanatec release a version of FANALAB for MAC in order to update the bases without buying a PC?
Hi Maurice,
I updated the driver to 455 and Fanalab to 2.01.21...Fanalab won't open since. I tried multiple work around you mentioned in various post and nothing seems to work.
Here are the logs. I hope you can help :)
DD1 PS4
PC Driver 455
Firmware
Wheel base : 3.0.4.3
Wheel base Motor : 3.0.0.2
Steering Wheel : 47
Wireless QR : 7
FanaLab has nothing to do with updating Bases.
For that you will ALWAYS need the PC driver, and that one (for now) is and will stay for quite some time Windows PC exclusive.
Please delete the xml folder in the AppData FanaLab folder. Some file in there is screwed.
I deleted the following xml file - C:\Users\JS\AppData\Local\Fanatec\FanaLab\xml
It still won't start. Anything else I can try? Here's the latest logs
Then you can only try to uninstall and completely reinstall again.
Other than that I have no idea.
ok thank you. I tried to reinstall already and it didn't worked.
I noticed that Fanalab is installed in a different folder...Could that cause the issue?
C:\Program Files (x86)\Fanatec\FanaLab\Control
C:\Program Files\Fanatec\Fanatec Wheel
No, that is correct.

QR overload? So not my BME have the issue, it's more like my DD1? But sometimes works 2 day straight, with 6-7hr gameplay. So it's very weird.
My Formula v2.5X, and the Universal hub never frozed the last 6 month with fanalab, and your profiles.
BME is a completely different story. What I wrote was explicitly related to the CS DD freezes.
BME is still unknown but most likely hardware related.
Ah okay, thx for the info! In my case then it's more like the BME problem.

The P2P LED and Display support is on the list to be investigated if it is sent via the telemetry to then be implemented into FanaLab this year :)

Im not sure what you mean about this.
So it cant load your car profiles om its own?
Fanalab loads profiles by its own when you press "Practice", "Race" or "Get to grid" in iRacing. Only then Fanalab knows which car is selected and which profile should be loaded.
Is the driver version 4.55 (which says beta) linked here with the Fanalab 2.01.21 identical to the version 4.55 on the official release page?
Thanks,
Frank
