The app crashes (I cant tab out and open it again as the task is killed) if I want to race the Formula Renault 3.5, I tried the same thing with the Ferrari 488 GTE and it worked fine. So it seems like this issue is related to the car.
With Assetto Corsa it works fine, but in game the display of my F1 Carbon rim makes an intermittent buzz that stops if I turn off Fanalab (and of course at that point the display turns off)
I have clicked on green button "Enable Fanalab's Game Led/Hardware support" and I also verified that AC internal support is disabled on fanatec.ini file.
Is this buzz dangerous for the life of the rim display or for the rim at all?
My Configuration:
Fanatec ClubSport Wheel 2.5 connected to USB 2 port
Fanatec ClubSport Pedals V3 connected to the wheel
Works nicely, although I was using a second screen with f12019 with some 3rd party dash software and unfortunately, probably due to UDP port being used, I can't use both that software and Fanalab at the same time. I do notice a future update will apparantly introduce a dash within the Fanalab software? That would really be great and complete the software.
Another feature I would find nice to have is some better way to test how a change impacts the feeling in the wheel, without having to start the game, as I have a really hard time to finetune.
Implementing different pre-set profiles to choose from within the software itself would also be nice (instead of creating your own, or searching the forums and downloading them).
I just moved to a new PC and reinstalled everything, which is a DD2 with driver package V335 (the only one I can download from the HP) and Fanalab 1.12.
NOw I have the problem that Fanalab does not start because it tells me I have to install version 339!
I don´t see a 339 version to download!?!. When I tell the driver software to update, it tells me thatz my current software is more recent than the download software. This is really strange.
Never search for updates in the driver. It does not look if a newer driver version is available but only if your devices have the latest included firmwares installed.
Can some point in the right direction for the pdf manual for this? It appears to have been removed from the download section. I’ve just set up my dd2 and I’m changing settings in tuning menu in the Fanalabs app and its supposed to show it changing on the dd2 oled screen but I’m not seeing anything. I’m using driver 346. Also does anyone know the recommended USB port the dd2 should plugged into as I can’t find anything on this either. Thanks
When you change the settings on the wheel, are they changing in FanaLab?
When you then change the same slider in FanaLab, does the number you've just adjusted on the base change?
In which mode is your base?
Did you update all firmware versions and what version number do they have?
You can use any USB 2.0 or 3.0 but I once had some bad experience with my front USB and now I'm always using the back of the PC, but this was more an issue of my PC I guess.
Im unable to test currently as I’m away for work for the next few days. I have watched the fanalabs video on YouTube and it shows the wheel base displaying in real-time the tuning menu settings being changed in the fanalabs app.
The changes are happening in real time but to see it you have to be in the tuning menu on the wheel and watch the values, they will not be displayed at any other point if you mean that.
Ah ok. In the video it makes it look like it just pops up on the oled screen when you adjust values in the FanaLab app. Will try when I get back. Thanks for your help.
I have a problem with a few cars in Assetto Corsa: Tatuus, Formula RSS 4 are always switching ON the vibration of my Formula V2 wheel and V3 Pedals like the tires are always sliding. The only moment when it doesn't vibrate is when I'm braking, as soon as I start to accelerate it start vibrating again until the next brake. Anyone having the same problem? All the other cars are ok, but with these is impossible to drive.
My Fanalab just disappears after the start. I seriously don't know why and reinstall + deleting of all files and registry entries doesn't solve this problem. Anybody else experienced this and has a solution to this issue?

Alright did some more testing.

Thanks for your help to set me up Maurice!
By the way, a reinstall of Fanatec Drivers fixed my issue. Very strange issue with the heavy torque randomly turning on

You can find the latest drivers here in the forums in the beta section. Latest driver for DD2 is driver 346.

Never search for updates in the driver. It does not look if a newer driver version is available but only if your devices have the latest included firmwares installed.
Try to open the Driver UI and see if everything is fine there.

Hi Marcel.
I’m on driver 346
wheel base firmware 662
wheel base motor firmware 30
sterring wheel firmware 28 (formula v2)
Currently plugged into usb 3.2 gen 2.
dd2 wheel base in pc mode.

BUG : Fanalabs doesn't recognize drivers, when they are not installed in the default location.
Yes, long known already ;)
Good to know!
If it's not in the first post amongst the known issues, I wonder who is going to read through all the posts to find if it's been reported?

Good point, added it.
Seems those cars output the used telemetry value outside of the window which all other cars work with. We will take another look at it.
Thank Marcel for the feedback!
FanaLab 1.12 works with CSL base 1.1 or is only for wheel?
Everything besides the Tuning Menu page works with the CSL WB 1.1
ok i want to try because now while i'm driving the base leds are always off...... and it does't seem normal, right?
I tried on Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione and Dirt4
Can you give me a complete overview of what you are using, which driver and firmware is installed and how you've set it up.
now is working, after firmware update !
before i can't update it:

thank you

what do you mean with disappears? Do you have Minimize to tray enabled so its sitting in your tray?
