Make sure you have driver 353 installed and flashed the wheel base firmware to 670 and then the BME firmware to 9 and then it will work if you have the BME connected correctly to the UHX like described in the Quick Guide. And please stop using Caps Lock as this means SHOUTING in a forum which is against the forum rules.
Thanks for the reply. So if the little screen would display something for the PS 4 games, saying Gran Turismo Sport? just like what display on the wheel display.
Also the other pages on the DD ITM are not finished yet and can be very buggy. Focus was only on page 1 for now so if you are having issues with pages 2 - 5 it's most likely because they are not officially supported yet.
If I want to change the mode, I have to press the orange and yellow (bottom left) button together and not the black and yellow (bottom left) button as described in the description. Also, Windows crashes when I change the mode while FanaLab is running. Was something wired wrong?
im pretty sure u can. as far as im aware of, the pbme will need the the v352 or v353 for the buttons and for it to light up, however only into legacy mode for now.
After that the ps4 functionality is between those developing the game, the SDK and the hardware.
I hope that current titles that have support like Gt Sport and f1 2019 get this work. i abuse my equipment in f1 as im not scrolling thru menus for tire temps, i just roast em baby!
Maurice, it might be a good idea to edit the initial post - this is getting confusing! 🤯
Could you confirm that only the base firmware is different between the two packages and that we should use the older rev 1819 from the newer v1.1 package rather than the newer rev 1821 from the original package? For those who have already installed, everything else is the same?
I have no rights to edit the first post but Marcel was informed already. However, he is already on his christmas holiday so dont know when he reads that,
But yes, Please use the "older" 670_rev1819 Base firmware and not the 670_rev1821. Driver, Motor, BME Firmwares are otherwise all the same, its only the Base firmware which needs the firmware of the v1.1 package from the webshop.
OK - might be worth starting a new IMPORTANT UPDATE: Podium Button Module Endurance Software Package [Incl. Revised Driver] thread - this message may be missed otherwise.
Apologies for formatting - pasted the Title to edit and can't figure out how to fix it!
Received my Button Module today and did the whole update process with the DD1 (670_rev1819). All is working in legacy mode but also the one new page that is available at the moment.
Need some more testing and need to stick the stickers on de module but so far I like it 😁
I tested my wheel with the v1.0 driver package and noticed, that pressing the display button (top right corner, bottom one) will also trigger the pit limiter button (above) as well. You can also notice this in the driver page. Pushing the pit limiter button only triggers the corresponding button correctly, so I think it is a firmware issue and not hardware failure of my button module.
I didn’t had time to upgrade the base firmware provided with v1.1 as I had to leave. But can anyone using v1.1 please confirm, if this issues is fixed or not? Btw, I did upgraded the podium hub to fix the swapped mini-paddles, so that’s not the issue.
Got everything installed and updated. The new driver is labeled 300 when you look in windows device manager, but it shows properly in the fanatec manager.
Seems working to be working pretty well, but nothing is showing on the BME screen as far as telemetry. No thunking for me on wheelbase yet, but on the ITM I’m stuck on legacy. I can not select page 1-5. Is that normal?
You need to press and hold the Tuning Menu button and then Tür the Funky Switch in either direction. In FanaLab you can only see which page you are and which telemetry data it contains but you can't select anything.
Comments
IT WILL NOT!! IF YOU MADE IT WORK PPRAY TELL ME HOW?
I have done all you have discribed to do the update but it seems that the fan is still running on full.
And also wheel axis is not being recognised.
DRIVER 353
WB FW 670
SW FW 9
PHUB FW 2.
Well its not going to be such a good xmas for us BETA testers
It's all described in the first post.

No, for now you need FanaLab. Therefore the ITM is only PC compatible actually.
Thanks for the reply. So if the little screen would display something for the PS 4 games, saying Gran Turismo Sport? just like what display on the wheel display.
Received today with THANKS !!!
Put it all together (some instructions somewhere could have helped eg how to run the wires for the Paddle Module into the Podium Hub)
Also Podium Hub needs update firmware or the paddles above the shift paddles are L/R reversed (thought I had something wrong augh)
Otherwise all updates worked (though some reinstalling of the wheel base driver was required before the wheel base was recognized )
No bricks around !!!
Looking forward to full ITM modes, on the Button Module rather than on the wheel base, not just the single one available now YAY !!!
I have enabled ITM on my BME but can only get one page and the legacy page to display on the BME.
I can switch pages on the wheel base. I cannot change any pages using Fanalab though it does show which page is selected using the BME.
Are the other pages not active yet?
Nope, only page 1 is activated at this stage. Other pages to follow very early next year.
Also the other pages on the DD ITM are not finished yet and can be very buggy. Focus was only on page 1 for now so if you are having issues with pages 2 - 5 it's most likely because they are not officially supported yet.
Hi all,
The next firmware for csw 2.5 resolve heavy wheel issue of v352 ?
thks

See VR forum. In this opening post a wrong base firmware is included. Please use the v1.1 package from the webshop page: https://fanatec.com/eu-de/accessories/steering-wheel-accessories/podium-button-modul-endurance which includes a better base firmware with the "correct" mode switch button combo (left yellow + black).

And that's exactly the reason to install the other firmware from driver package 1.1 ;)
Sure, but I can’t do this remotely from ~130km away. So can I interpret this as a “Yes, v1.1 will fix your button issue”?
Them take it as „yes, v1.1 will fix your button issue“ as that’s basically the only difference between the two base firmwares.
hey guys has any one got this to work on a csl elite wheel base ?
thanks Droofs, now just need to wait for the deilvery man....
me too, 5:40am it was 5 hours away, 16 hrs later, its 4.4 hrs away.
I could of picked it up by now and pretended to drive a 911 home!

🤦♂️🤷♂️,im so jelly!
Mine doesn’t even have page one checked off. It has legacy with a filled in circle and 1-5 are empty circles.

That worked. Thanks!
