The pics don't let me see if you click on both "enable" buttons ;) No need to export the profiles. other games do work though? Did you install Fanalab on the same drive as the driver?
@Maurice Böschen : Hello, I am running a Podium DD1 F1 with V3 Clubsport pedals and all components are updadet to the latest drivers just without the motor sensor calibration together with Fanalab 1.54.2.
I installed the wheel base settings from your ACC files which are really nice and thanks on that place for all the efforts and time invested for doing that.
I am having 2 issues when I am racing ACC on PC
having the wheel base display ITM on. I get very heavy and strong "jolts" into the base by random places on track but nearly every turn. No matter on streigths or turns, it is there. Only switching the ITM base display to default [Fanatec-Logo] will solve that issue. The Ferrari 488 has 88% FFB DD1 (0.75 at the .json file) 60% gain ingame and that high values causing a very strong impact to the base and arms, which is a problem when it happens in turns and driving on the limit. Now I saved your profiles with DEFAULT Display setting on the wheel base and the "jolts" are gone. Since you are using that offered settings on your DD2, I wonder if that is the same on a DD2 base or just on DD1?
Sometimes and not pretictable, both pedal motors start suddenly but continously vibrating, brake and throttle at the same time. Thats happening during a race and will not stop any more until I put the car back to the garage.
Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts and advices.
Jolts on FFB Info pages and ITM pages are a known issue since September 2019 and not solved yet. Happens both on DD1 and DD2 and is just a global issue with the OLED.
I dont mind and still want to use the ITM, therefore I saved all my profiles with ITM auto-page-switch enabled which everyone who dont want to use the ITM has to disable and then overwrite the profile again to stay on the default FANATEC page which doesnt have the Jolt-Issue.
The pedal vibration staying enabled is also a known issue which is also yet to be fixed sometime.
Tnx. Did that, then still got the same message. Then found the plugin, it was located within the fanalab folder and copy pasted it into the plugin folders. Got the message again, restarted and got it to work again.
1.54.2 is ignoring LED settings with CSW 2.5 + McLaren GT3 V2. I set gear as the constant with all other LED settings off. I 1.54.2 it ignores this and continues to show speed in between gear changes. Rolled back to 1.53 and this works as expected again. Driver is 381.
Since september 2019? Why does it take them so long to fix this issue?
I disabled the pedal vibration everywhere in Fanalab and my games, but once in a while the throttle pedal start to vibrate a random. Sometimes for half a lap, sometimes for a full lap and the last time for the rest of rest of my until I restarted my DD2. Really annoying.
I might have a look to see if it's possible to disconnect these rumble motors since they always start vibrating at wrong moment and for a very long time.
Everything is working fine for me, just 1 minor issue: Upon restarting my pc or Fanalab, the little tickbox between RPM Value and RPM % gets defaulted on RPM Value, but since i've got my settings set for RPM%, i need to go into Fanalab and change this manually every time i launch my game of choice. Minor inconvinience, hope it can be fixed :)
Have you saved the profiles with % so they are shown with % and not RPM in the Game Profile Overview? Working fine for me, every profiles is correct, % profiles get loaded with % and RPM profiles get loaded with RPM.
Its the intended new behavior that FanaLab defaults to RPM with the default RPM values when you open FanaLab without having loaded a profile.
I have a problem to get Fanalab running with F1 2019. I have performed all steps and as long I do not set the UDP broadcast to on in the game, it works fine. However, I have a second listener on the UDP port and this one does not work. The second one works only if I close Fanalab or with Broadcast enabled. In this "Broadcast enabled" game configuration, the second listener works but not Fanalab (gear, lap time, drs, etc. is not shown). It seems that Fanalab opens the UDP port not in shared / reused mode. Is this assumption correct?
Is there something else, I can try to get both working at the same time?
Would you be able to explain how to "delete the Endor Registry folder"? I have tried a search in regedit for "Endor" but I get a million hits, on account of "Vendor". Except for that part, I have done everything you recommend above (inclusive of rebooting, installing multiple versions --1.53, 1.54-, and checking 'reset all settings') plus I've also deleted the folders/data in the <user>/AppData subtree. All to no avail. As soon as Fanalab starts, it quits. Finally, brand-new install of WIndows, fully updated, driver 381 which seems to be working fine.
You can find the registry folder here: Compuer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE. Delete the whole Endor folder, restart the pc and reinstall FanaLab from scratch again.
If that still is not working then please send your Windows Event and FanaLab logs here so they can get analyzed to hopefully fix this issue at some point.
Thank you for the prompt reply. As I was preparing to do what you suggest above, my Logitech wireless keyboard/trackball stopped working, and thus I disconnected and reconnected the USB dongle that comes with it. It required me to restart. As it turns out, after the restart, Fanalab (which is on auto-start with Windows) did not close.
So, I ended up not doing what you recommend above or, said it differently, I did absolutely everything you recommended except for the Registry bit. I did it multiple times too, and I have rebooted a million times as well.
For some, unknown-to-me, reason it decided to work, and I am not about to mess up with it :-) -- I hope you understand.
If there are any logs or files I can collect for you, without messing up with the current setup, I will be happy to.
the software is pretty good. some better documentation when loading profiles would help. there are sections you can check mark when loading a profile but there is duplicate ones for each of them (vibration, led, dynamic ffb, and tuning menu). what is the difference in the two columns? also there should be a way to completely shut off the led on the wheel base if you have a wheel with leds on it.
Comments
No this is not possible.
Ok. Is it possible to implement this in a future version, or is that the impossible part?
that's not possible atm.
did you click on "enable Telemetry" and "enable fanalab's Game LED"?
Hi,
I've also experienced the 2nd issue once or twice...
yes, like pics i posted. but i need to export profile in any folder?

This is in ACC and i'm using CSL Elite+ with 381 firmware and latest drivers that come with it.
If i revert back to 1.53 it still works, luckily I made a export of all the settings.

This version is worth than 1.53, always crashing. As son as I launch the game it crashes and close.
Which game? Please send the logs.
All games. O, next time I use it will send the logs.
Then please delete the Endor Registry folder, uninstall Fanalab, reinstall Fanalab with checking the checkbox to reset all settings.
For me and everyone else it's working fine Workout Crashing so something is off on your side..

Game Config: Telemetry enabled + LED disabled
That assumption is correct.
Fanalab can not forward UPD data/Port.
Therefore it's only working with Broadcast disabled.
Might be changed/fixed at some time but not anytime soon.
Thanks a lot
I could reproduce both now, added it to the list of future improvements

One column is for saving, the other for loading ;)
Yes, profile is saved but it still defaults to RPM and not %
