I see, i'd like to see it just staying on whatever you select though, because like you said, everytime i launch the game now i need to either load the profile or set it to %
Just set a profile with % as the games default profile so it gets loaded automatically when you launch the game. It will then launch with % so you dont have to do anything other than just launching the game.
I am using a CSL Elite Wheelbase with the Formula V2 Rim with the Advanced paddle shifters attached with all the latest drivers installed, but none of my equipment listed shows up in fanalab.
Before attaching the Paddles to the wheel, it was working fine with all the drivers and packages installed with all the firmware's updated. But now it no longer appears.
I'm having the same issue. When I load my Skippy setup for example in Fanalab and do some racing, the next day my LEDS stopped working after a reboot because the profile is set to RPM instead of %.
Then I need to reload the profile again and it's OK but it would be nicer if it kept track of the setting instead of default it to RPM every time when you restart the PC or Fanalab. I mean all settings are preserved when restarting Fanalab, why not keep the RPM settings as well then? It's not very consistent.
It was always that Fanalab defaulted back to it's default values. The default values have now changed to RPM with it's default values.
It's intended that you have to re-select a profile everytime.
Alternatively as suggest es just set you skippy profile as games default profile so it gets automatically loaded everytime you start iRacing. Then you will always get % without manually loading anything.
The other settings getting restored from.last usage is because they are stored within the wheel base itself and not within Fanalab.
I know it's an old old game and I have been calling for others to make a noise, I can't believe though I'm the only NR2003 Racer with a Fanatec wheel 🙄
Vibration an den Pedalen und am F1 Wheel funktioniert nur in Asseto corsa. In der fanatec software werden die entsprechenden funktionen Grau überlagert. Mach ich etwas Falsch ?
My problem is the my fanalab keep crashing all the time. i have latest updates and drivers. i have installed fanalab few times but nothing seem to help.
Hmmm, it never occurred to me that default were loaded after a reboot. When I drove Skippy and the next day I drive Skippy again without reloading my profile, my RPM leds seemed to working allright.
The reason I don't like to use default profiles is because sometimes I try and tune a new car in AC for example. Then I go to iRacing and if I have a default profile selected, my changes from AC will be lost if I forgot to save.
It's not a huge problem for since I see it pretty fast and during warm up I reload my profile. But it would be nice if Fanalab would write the current settings to a file and reload it after a reboot. Then I don't have to play with Fanalab if I keep racing the same car for a few days.
You have to set the RPM/Gear Display in game to OFF, then enable Shared Memory and set it to Project CARS 2 according to the instructions you see when you click the two green buttons in the Game Profile Overview in Fanalab.
hello everyone i am new and i am not a pc wizard without this premise i have: cls version ps4, formula v2, formula hub and pedal set v3 .. they told me that with fanalab I could make better use of the pedal set with vibrations etc etc and if possible it does work the leds of the concrete in race setting using the hub formula .. I need help to understand what to download and how to set it all thanks a lot
Whenever I start Fanalabs the Rev LED is always set to 'RPM' I have a profile saved with it set to '%' and saved and I have this profiule set as default. But each time i open Fanalabs it reverts to 'RPM' I have checked and when opening Fanalabs it is correctly choosing my newly set default profile it is just not remenevbreing the RPM LED setting. I have changed some other settings and those seem to be remebered corrrectly just not the RPM LED.
I am playing ACC only and running driver 381. Windows 10 CSW v2.5 with formula carbon rim
Would be great if this could be fixed or any other help appreciated.
This is not an issue but the intended new behaviour.
As long as you do not have loaded a profile which you have saved with % it will be in RPM Mode as that's the new default.
You need to load a profile and then it will properly change to %.
Best is to select a profile as your default profile for ACC which then gets loaded automatically everytime you start ACC and this will then also load properly with %.
Hi Maurice - thanks for the quick reply. I have set a custom profile and that it indeed loaded as default whenever i open Fanalbs but still the RPM LED is not remembered.

Yes as said that's the intended behaviour until you loaded your profile with % which will then of course load properly with %.
I see, i'd like to see it just staying on whatever you select though, because like you said, everytime i launch the game now i need to either load the profile or set it to %

it would be nice to have a title above them to say that. also, again, we need a way to shut off wheelbase lights if wanted.
There is a title below it ;)

Is there a solution to this at all?
Thanks in advance!
Which driver do you have installed? Can you open the driver property page properly?
Are you sure you are in red pc mode?

It's not possible and not planned to change this.
Would FanaLab ever support Nascar 2003 season?

Hängt vom Spiel ab. iRacing unterstützt bspw keine Pedal Vibrationen weil die das selbst steuern. AMS2 nur begrenzt sodass vieles ausgegraut ist...
Hello
My problem is the my fanalab keep crashing all the time. i have latest updates and drivers. i have installed fanalab few times but nothing seem to help.
Have you tried the workaround from the first post?
Yes i have if you mean to delete podium control folder.
Fanalab crashes on startup without creating a logs folder:
The reason is that a certain DLL from an older MS VC++ Redist is missing on the affected systems.
To work around this, please download and install the mentioned VC++ Redist (link below).
After installation, reboot your PC and start Fanalab.
https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x86.exe
In future iterations of Fanalab, we will include this special DLL in the installer.
We apologize for this inconveniance.

Anyone had any luck with custom LED's for AMS2...? I am using a DD2 + Formula v2 rim.
If I set the RPM/Gear display to "Yes" in AMS2 then I get the default YRB led's however if I then disable this option I get no LED's or custom LED's..
You have to set the RPM/Gear Display in game to OFF, then enable Shared Memory and set it to Project CARS 2 according to the instructions you see when you click the two green buttons in the Game Profile Overview in Fanalab.
derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr shared memory.... My memory.. All the AMS2 updates lately I must have forgot to set it..
Thanks Maurice!
In Fanalab if you press "settings" and choose a language, nothing changes and only English is displayed
The language only applies to the hint messages, not the general Text of the UI.

Is there a possibility to increase the font size? I can hardly read the settings. It is very small in my opinion.
no this is not an option (yet).

This my profile which as you can see is set as default
As said it is intended that it starts in RPM Mode everytime you start Fanalab again!
But when you start a game where you have set a profile with % as the games default then it will change properly to %.
