I have a CSL Elite wheelbase with a F1 2021 Limited Edition wheel. The firmware has been updated only on the wheelbase, for the wheel there wasn't any new firmware version. However, thumb encoders seem to work properly now, only the top paddles of the Podium Advanced Paddle Module seem to not work yet. I'm on PS5, thanks!
I find the new FF scaling mode is very good on my ps5 podium !! on asseto and dirt 2.0 the car has permanent support (steering wheel feeling) torque output
Hola. Todo actualizado y todo a la perfeccion. lo unico que con este nuevo controlador el podium modulemodule button los leds cuando le apetece dan un destello que ciega. A alguien mas le pasa?
It's not really a new mode, it was just renamed from Linearity more to Force Feedback Scaling mode. It works the exact same as the LIN setting always worked.
On each occasion following a fresh reboot, approximately 5 minutes into the drive, the PBME paddles stopped changing gears. At the time, there was no noticeable interruption to steering input, pedals or graphic response (display 7680x1440 most options at 'Maximum' within AC and CSP).
Following the rollback of driver to v402 and firmware to the following devices normal reliable function resumed;
Wheelbase Firmware : 686 regressed to 684
Podium Hub Firmware : 6 regressed to 5
Button Module Endurance Firmware : 18 regressed to 17
Now update one by one, so first base update, test if issue happens again, if not then Hub, test if issue happens again, if not then BME, test if issue happens again. This way the responsible "bad" firmware can be identified.
I did make sure to uninstall both v402 drivers and Fanalab first(rebooted PC as well), before installing v410. Not sure if required, but figured to be safe. All my profile settings even carried over properly this time.
Hello. Everything updated and everything to perfection. The only thing that with this new controller the podium modulemodule button the LEDs when you feel like it give a blinding flash. Someone else happens?
I have updated everything with the new drivers 410 and fanalab 1.57.2 for my DD2 and Mclaren V2 steering wheel without problems, everything works fine, but the blow (jolt) in the change of direction, curbs, I have if you go off the track you feel again, the fluidity on the curbs has improved a little
Tried manual, hit the flash firmware, and it erased it but didn't flash. uninstall 410, re-installed 402, it flashed. Then did the upgrade from 402->410 and it worked. no idea why.
i tried to set 1080p on my 4k monitor , the result is the same , but i haven't try to set 100% font size , cos windows suggested 150% for 4k resolution
I want to say thank you. Everything is working fine here with my Podium DD1 (except a few jolts here and there of course - before someone wants to hit me)
I really appreciate the new tuning menu. Finally not only a link to old gamecontroller control panel :) I like it a lot now.
So I have one little feature request for this new tuning menu: Please let us allow to give the Sets a name and show it on the first page and on the tuning menu page. This will help all users well, I think :)
Well this is going well. Over 8 months of software development and yet another half arsed release that fixes little and and introduces new issues.
This software stack is making less sense with every release.
The new driver UI barely works with some wheelbases and doesn't work at all with others so has to exist in parallel with the old one, which ironically works ok and garnered few if any complaints. And its primary function is simply to duplicate aspects of Fanalab.
The new firmware manager is a separate application for no obvious reason and still has no ability to install firmware from a remote repository.
Fanalab is still a buggy mess of missing functionality - still lacks the ability to save ITM screens almost two years after release. Even adding a further RGB option to the LED presets is apparently a project too daunting for the developers.
This company really needs to needs to start to invest as much on their weak development side as they clearly are on their already strong industrial design side. At the moment it looks like the Fanatec mission statement is to attract new customers with shiny things, then piss them off with really substandard software.
I whole heartedly agree with Gary’s post. Not doubting that the guys who do work on the software work very hard on it, but it’s taken minutes for people to find multiple bugs on multiple wheelbases/wheels with the new firmware.
It really is about time Fanatec stop with these ridiculous, albeit impressive, wheels that will cost an arm and a leg and only appeal to a tiny percentage of their customers, and start to invest heavily in their support and software. It is substandard and has been for a long time. No doubt they have the money and resources to do this.

Top APM Paddles work fine in GT Sport for me.
Which game they are not working for you? F1 2021? That's a game issue Codemasters needs to fix.
Yeah, in F1 2021. Oh I see, I thought it's from the driver. Thanks!

Hi Marcel,
Program : Assetto Corsa
On each occasion following a fresh reboot, approximately 5 minutes into the drive, the PBME paddles stopped changing gears. At the time, there was no noticeable interruption to steering input, pedals or graphic response (display 7680x1440 most options at 'Maximum' within AC and CSP).

Update went smoothly for me, no issues so far.

Good evening,
I don't get my CSL Elite Steering Wheel McLaren GT3 V2 updated. After a few minutes I get this error message.
Hello,
I am using the new CSL DD with the Driver 410.
The Display, when going into the Tuning Menu for my Clubsport Universal Hub, ist not working in any mode. (For my Formula V2 it works)
I can do changes but nothing will be displayed on the screen.
When changing gears, the actual gear is displayed, that works fine.
In Addition to that please add the possibilitiy to increase the Force Feedback to max 200%. (Like for the CSW 2.5)
In ACC (XBOX) we need this because the FFB is still broken....
Best regards

Hi,
DD2 here, low torque only with the porsche 918rsr and bmw gt2 wheels.
I went back too driver 402 but stills the same. Maybe firmware problem?
Cheers
Yes, Torque Modes are saved in Firmware so you would also have to downgrade the base firmware.
how can I get old firmwares??
Just flash the firmware in the old driver, it's pre-selected automatically.
That worked for me!!
Thanks!!
Tried manual, hit the flash firmware, and it erased it but didn't flash. uninstall 410, re-installed 402, it flashed. Then did the upgrade from 402->410 and it worked. no idea why.

Hello!I updated the 410 driver, but in the new UI, V3 pedal cannot update the firmware 1.32. How can I solve it? Thank you!
