Ever since the latest Fanalab update (1.60.6) I've been having issues with the pit limiter LEDs in ACC. For some reason it doesn't always work... what happens is when I engage the pit limiter it works for a second or two, but eventually goes black. Here's a screenshot of my settings below.
To explain what I'm going for here: I'm trying to use the side/flag LEDs to indicate that I'm in the pitlane, and the center/rev LEDs to indicate that the pit limiter is active.
This used to work flawlessly before. Not sure what's going on. Any ideas?
A couple more details- if I engage it in the middle of the track, it seems to work fine. But if I enter the pitlane, or I'm in the garage and thus I am already starting in the pitlane, it blanks out or at least glitches. Something related to the pitlane detection seems to be inducing this problem.
I received the CSL P1 V2 BF Edition wheel on Saturday, and since then I have issues with LED/Digit display. I don't know if this is Fanalab or Driver related.
I start my computer. Fanalab is loaded with windows session. Then I switch on my CSL DD, with the P1 V2 wheel attached. It is recognized correctly by Fanalab.
I launch iRacing, engage my profile (for the Mazda MX-5). However, the digit display and LED strip settings are not loaded from the profile to the wheel. It keeps the default behaviour, I guess from iRacing telemetry straight. I have to switch off CSL DD, and switch it back on for the profile to fully load on the wheel...
Any hint on what I'm doing wrong here? I do not have not this Screen/LED issue with the Formula v2.5 wheel.
I have a DD1 on the latest firmware and just got a new wheel and button module endurance. When on the last fanalab version, the ItM would only show on base. Updated to latest fanalab version tonight and the itm works on wheel, but fanalab is not showing base (says name but no picture of it).
also, does not give me any way to tune my settings. Do I need to re-install fanalab?
I cannot see any of my setting in the fanalab Tuning Menu and ITM.... In teh gameprofile everything shows fine. And there is no logo of the DD2 in the Main....
Thats exactly your issue: Driver 400 iis WAAAAAAAY too old and NOT compatible with the new FanaLab Version 1.60.6. Therefore no Tuning Menu is shown in FanaLab because it cant read what the old outdated driver 400 is trying to send - its basically a different language the new FanaLab version simply can not understand.
There is no auto-update-feature in driver 400 available. Thats a new function of driver 431+.
What you get shown as "up-to-date" are FIRMWARES, not Drivers. And the Firmwares of course are "up-to-date" as they are the ones included in driver 400 but they are NOT the really most recent firmwares which are included in all the newer drivers over the last year.
So that page in the Firmware manager will ALWAYS tell you everything is up-to-date when you have flashed the firmwares included in that package as it can not check for new firmwares online. Only the driver can look for newer drivers online since Driver 431 some weeks ago.
I have some issue with Fanalab. I used 1.57.4 for few month without any issue with F1 2021. Last week I bought a new wheel (Porsche wheel with module endurance) and update all my devices including fanalab. Since I did that, I have vibrations issue on F1 2021 (but no issue with other games).
While i'm in F1 2021 menus, no problems. But when i'm in pit or on track, I always have steering wheel vibrating (even if the car is stopped).
I've done lot of attempt with Fanatec Support (Cyrille) to solve that issue but no one worked :
Reset tuning menu in Fanatec control panel
Reinstall F1 2021
Reset the wheel base to the default settings according to the instructions on forum.
Look for Windows Update.
Download and install driver V432.
Download other Fanalab versions.
Only one attempt is working : Play F1 2021 without Fanalab (but I don't have any steering wheel LED or Display working).
Something is wrong with Fanalab. Everytime i try Fanalab it brokes my whole CSL DD. At the first start Fanalab shows a unknown device. After that neither Fanalab or the Fanatec driver shows my CSL DD. I have to uninstall Fanalab and the driver. After reinstalling the driver the CSL DD shows up again. With my CSL LC pedals everything is fine. Only the CSL DD has problems.
I tried it on multiple Fanalab and driver combinations and on multiple Win 11 versions with the same result.
I even tried the new Win 11 Dev preview.
I can‘t understand what the problem is.
Driverversion is 432beta
Later today i will try one last thing. I will uninstall the driver, restart, install Fanalab, restart, install the driver and restart again. I hope that let Fanalab be working but i have very little hope.
I tried what i described in my older post and now Fanalab is finally working. I don't know what cause this but when i install Fanalab first and than the driver everything works fine. But when i install the driver first something get broken.
After all that i also updated to 433 and everything still works :)
As a CSW 2.5 owner are these profiles of any use to me if I do some work to tweak the values or would I be better off tuning everything from scratch using the CSW recommended profile? Thanks either way for sharing
Could you please add an option to auto switch for a few seconds to legacy when adjusting the bite point with both clutches pressed + funky up/down? Thanks.
Unfortunately there are other priorities currently so it will still take months. I personally dont think it will come until later in 2022 unfortunately :(
One issue I have with Fanalab both in this and in previous versions is that once I start Fanalab (I often have it started when Windows starts) Windows never power saves by turning off the display(s), they are always on. Took ages to work out it was Fanalab causing this for me.
HI, revs issue, led lights, it won't let me put less than 8750 maximum revolutions ... there are cars that don't even reach 6000 so it doesn't work well for me.

Ok so , is that playable without that changes ?
???

CSL DD run on PC Mode, not compatibility mode.
Here is my Profile in Fanalab
Cheers!

Which driver are you using? When you open the driver, Base is correctly shown there?
Hello, can anyone help?
I cannot see any of my setting in the fanalab Tuning Menu and ITM.... In teh gameprofile everything shows fine. And there is no logo of the DD2 in the Main....
Which driver and which firmware are you using?
Is the base properly shown in the driver UI?
Everything works fine, also in the wheelbase-menu. But in Fanalab it´s missing....

You need Driver 432, then your issues are fixed.
Aaaaaaah, ok thank you. Indeed - but I didn´t realized it, because every other driver is shown as "up to date".
The auto-update-funktion is very bad, I must say.... But thanks, now I can update everything...

that make sense ;-) Thank you!

is there any possibility to make a fanalab for PS4, PS5? Thank you
No.

Something must be wrong on your side since lots of people have it working, try delete everything and all folders Fanatec related...
I still think it has to do with Fanalab.

Do we have profile for the new cars in iracing ?
Yes. In Profile Sharing thread ;)
Thanks i have
Button Module Endurance + Advanced Paddle Module:
Could you please add an option to auto switch for a few seconds to legacy when adjusting the bite point with both clutches pressed + funky up/down? Thanks.
Hi Maurice,
Any ETA on getting individual gear LED Rev Light settings for iRacing?
CH
I push for this feature a LOT behind the scenes.
Unfortunately there are other priorities currently so it will still take months. I personally dont think it will come until later in 2022 unfortunately :(
