is there still a plan for support for the Endurance module to be added to the CSL elite? It’s been a while since there was any real talk about this so I’m assuming that’s dead in the water at this point?
I’m having question regarding compitability with the XBox, PS4 and PC platform for the:
* CSL Elite Wheel base (how to identify which version I have?)
* Clubsport Steering Wheel F1 2021
I’ve just got my new wheel and after atttaching it to the wheel base it’s working only with the PC (Base is not switching to the Xbox or Ps4 mode (if I have PS4 licensed base version)).
Wheel base and Wheel has been already updated to the latest f/w version available.
I had my csl elite + repaired and now it has no blue or purple mode. I had to pay to have repaired so does the repair guys not check that they fixed it and just hope and send it back and charge the customer ? Not very happy about this situation
your base is too old / does not have Advanced electronics and does not support the Tuning Menu Feature in the Software and you can only adjust it on the wheel itself.
I'm thinking of buying a second hand CSL Elite (PS4 version) with the P1 wheel. I was wondering whether the wheel is compatible with other Fanatec wheel bases in case I want to upgrade to a DD base in future.
I currently have the CSL Elite mounted on a Playseat Revolution, the stand on the revolution is angled so that the CSL Elite is horizontal (as its underside is also angled). I am looking to replace the CSL Elite with a CSL DD but the DD does not have the angled underside so when mounted the DD would be angled down (as would be an attached wheel). Has anyone got any suggestions on how to solve this issue?
I had a similar problem with my Podium DD initially. My old G29 was mounted on a steel sawhorse, which was solid but flat. That was ok for the G29 because it was itself angled. For the Podium DD I designed and 3d printed an angled adapter plate.
This was a temporary solution because I was just waiting for the NLR GT Track to arrive. That's why I was ok with having the yellow clamps on there. I have a more recent design with counterbored holes for bolts in the ears.
If you want, you can give me a couple specific dimensions off your base and your rig, and I'll adapt my adapter design to fit the CSL DD and the Playseat. If you have access to a 3d printer, viola! Or I can print one for you and drop it in the mail if you're paying shipping.
In the end, upgrading the rig was the best solution though.
Hi, I have a problem with my csl elite wheelbase + -, it worked fine until yesterday but now it can't detect any steering wheels, does anyone know what can be the problem and how to solve it?
Also, now the "force feedback test" in the control panel doesn't do anything, force feedback went missing and on the wheelbase the light flashes red, green and blue while it disconnects and connects constantly.
so I tried to update, uninstall and reinstall drivers and fimware. force feedback works when it wants to now (one session is on and then the next could be off, who knows at this point?) and the steering wheel recognition problem continues. I still have no idea what to do.
I am experiencing the same issue in iRacing. Updated two days ago to the newest driver package and firmware as my FFB in iRacing started doing whatever it wanted. One session full FFB switching to the next session and zero FFB.
Usually I am using irFFB but this is not working either anymore. Feels quite weird as if all inputs get super smoothened and it does not feel like a racing car than before, but more than a sedan. Switching back to the original iRacing FFB it shows clipping into all curves and just gives you the car weight but no bumps or curbs feedback while going through it.
But here I have the next question. I always thought the max. force of the Elite Wheelbase 1.1 was 4Nm. But there is recommendet to use in iRacing 6Nm. Is this a mistake or could someone kindly explain why this is different.
I don't think anyone has accomplished this, but has anyone gotten the CSL Elite PS4 wheelbase to work with a PS3? Trying to use my rig with my PS3 with the older Gran Turismo games.
good evening guys is there anyone who can help me ?? I have a Fanatec csl wheel base with McLaren gt3 steering wheel, I play on assetto Corsa competizione , how can I activate the led strip on the base? from the on menu setting device, if active the leds turn on only those on the steering wheel, the leds work, if I do the test they light up. as firmware I have the latest one downloaded from Fanatec.
Hi, My CSL Elite wheel is 11 months old, it started showing a red light on the wheel and 3 yellow lights on the base while i'm using it, I have the current firmware updated. The problem is intermittent, it will work fine for a while then this problem shows up, sometimes it will clear itself but mostly i have to reset it to make the problem go away.
Paul whenever you're ready, let me know. I don't get notifications from this thread unless I wander past this forum, which I don't do as much lately. I spend a lot of time at the 3d printing website prusaprinters.org that's going to be the quickest way to make contact.

No. The Podium Button Module Endurance is still not compatible with CSL bases.
But this wheel is ClubSport not Podium .. is it the same?
Thanks
It's the button Module which is the same for every version which is not compatible
Sorry, now I understand.
CSL Elite Wheel Base + is compatible with clubsport universal hub V2 but is not compatible with the Button Module Endurance.
The problem is the Button Module Endurance.
Ok

The F1 2021 steering wheel is not xbox compatible, only the red Formula v2 and v2.5x is.
Also when your base Doesnt go into ps4 mode then you dont have a ps4 base so you can only play on PC.
Does anybody have the csl elite in wheel settings for nascar heat 5 on ps4

Hellow I downloaded the fanatec drivers on windows but I dont have any force feedback options on the software do u guys know any solution?
Which CSL Base version exactly do you have?
Is the pcb board on the csl elite ps4 wheelbase the same as the non ps4 version? I had mine repaired and now there’s no PS4 mode
CSL Elite base 1.1 :(

Oh Idk why my brother told me he used to have the tools on the software but alright thank you

It seems like you have two options: either buy the table clamp for the CSL DD, which gives you the angle you need or buy a new cockpit

Hey Matthew,
I have my CSL DD ordered for delivery in March and at that time I will take you up on your kind offer.
Cheers

I have the V1.1 and use the recommendet setting from this post: https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/653/iracing-pc-fanatec-recommended-settings#latest

Bonjour, est-il normal que sur le driver 434 ma base csl elite V1.1 soit détectée comme un empattement de base csl elite ? (pas le même visage)
Yes. In the future please only write in English according to the forum rules.
