The issue persists. ITM will intermittenly switch off entirely for PBME and DD2. Fixes that makes it come back is restarting Fanalab or even toggling off/on ITM.
Any fixes? Anyone have any ideas of how to deal with this?
Fanalab is still going into Standard - Auto Setup mode every time. It makes no difference if I start my wheel first and then open Fanalab or vice versa..
I am having an issue where FanaLab will instantly crash. It displays the word Fanatec in black for a second and that is it. FanaLab does not open any further. This FanaLab version 1.63 had been working for days with no issues but then suddenly stopped working.
I am on Windows 11 Build 22000
FanaLab 1.63
Fanatec PC Driver 439
I have tried uninstalling and clean reinstalling a few times with different versions and even deleting the folders in Appdata. I was also looking in the logs but it does not show enything in the past few days since Fanalab started crashing instantly.
I'm having the same issue on windows 11, crashes immediately upon opening. I've followed all of the instructions for a uninstall with revo and a clean install about 10 times, redownloaded drivers and searched everywhere for a fix. Extremely disappointing when functions on the porche podium wheel rely on this software. I've reverted back to 161 as 162 is also stuffed.

But no, I can not provide a profile for the iRacing Aston Martin GT4 atm because the new Season 02 Update broke the game for me and I cant drive as CPU load goes to 99% all the time so its undrivable and impossible for me to create a proper profile for any of the new cars until iRacing fixed this with a Hotfix Patch.
Will have a deeper look once iRacing fixed this bugged build but it seems for some strange reason that I am the only one in the world with this massive performance issues and I already tried everything including full reinstall and delete of the whole iRacing folder in Documents to start from scratch and nothing helped. But I fear as I am the only one with this issue that a fix might take months ...
hi, since last update I have some issues with the fanalab program.
Windows 10
Fanalab V1.63
PC Driver 400
WB firmware 684
SW Firmware 17
Podium Hub Firmaware 5
Wireless Quick release 6
In the fanalaba interface I Can´t see thepodium wheel base picture and I can´t see any setting at Tuning Menu, of course, neither I Can´t change any parameter. It´s happening with all the games I use, iracing, ACC,...
I can change the settings at the same wheel and at the fanatec properties, but I´ll like to do it in the fanalab interface.
As stated in the very first post of this thread driver 439 is the only compatible driver with Fanalab 1.63, no other older driver is working properly with it and especially not a 1 year old ancient driver 400. ;)
Because it says that all the FIRMWARE of your gear is up-to-date and is flashed to at least what's included in that driver.
That's because driver 400 is dumb and not smart at all and does not look for new driver updates online. This was only added recently with driver 435 and now 439 where the driver indeed looks for new driver versions online on each start.
In 400 all it did was looking if the firmware is flashed to at least the firmware included in that driver, that's it.
Good news: Today I installed new Windows 11 Pre-Release Patch KB5011563 and since then no performance issues anymore in iRacing!
So I was finally able to work on the new iRacing Season 02 cars, namely the Aston Martin Vantage GT4, iRacing Formula iR-04, Hyundai Veloster N TC and Stock Car Pro Series Toyota Corolla!
@Jan Achterberg: Thanks a lot for your profiles, they gave me a good starting point where to start and in the end our Veloster N TC LED profile is the same, the AMGT4 one nearly the same (that car is once again bad to adjust for LEDs as it uses different RPM values for each gear so its impossible to set LEDs properly so for that car there generally is no right or wrong^^)
Attached new iRacing zip folder with all the car profiles, including the 4 new ones :)
Thanks again Maurice. BTW has anyone noticed profiles not loading correctly if set as default? Don't recall if this as already been reported. Namely steering lock and LED's seem messed up.
Yes it's a known issue with the preview not being loaded until one profile was selected which then also affects default game profile Auto loading.
So workaround is to go to Profile Tab after you start Fanalab and just select any profile so the profile is shown properly (just selecting is enough, no need to load). Then also the loading of game default profiles is working again.
Has anyone who has been unable to launch Fanalab for the last few days been able to resolve this? I am back on 1.61.3 which does seem to be working, but 1.63 is broken and exits quickly once the splash screen appears.
I'm noticed the FlagLEDs on FormulaV2 have wrong color during yellow flags, its working fine to green and even white flag, but to yellow the leds have cyan color.
Someone noticed this?
Sim: iRacing
EDIT: The cyan color is inverted, when we select Cyan the FormulaV2 show Yellow, when we select Yellow the FormulaV2 show cyan.
Comments
Yes, coming sometime this year (I hope).
It's only an issue in iRacing because only iRacing uses this very strange way to let the LEDs light up differently per gear....
Awesome! Fingers crossed for a release this year. :)

Any idea why this is happening?
Thanks
I am having this issue today too. I tried re-installing Fanalab, checking the "Reset Settings" option when doing say, but no luck.
I am finding Fanalab crashing during game play and affecting my FFB and LEDs while driving.
I have attached the windows event log.
Could you please provide some feedback as to how to fix this issue.
Windows 10 64bit. 21H1 OS build: 19043.1526.
I was using ACC when this event occurred.
The last version was working until the last ndvidia drivers then It never opens again. I had to go back to the 1.61 version.
511.79 nvidia last version. Graphic card RTX 2070

Yes, that is what I am talking about before. Same issue.
sarebbe possibile avere profilo x nuava aston martin gt4 su ir?thanks

Since quite some people asked - I made profiles "matching your style" which could be used until you're back in action.
I'm pretty sure you'll find something to improve with my attempt, so feel free to use them our even include them into your pack in case you like them.
Thanks!

I think everything it´s up to date.
thanks for the support-
PC driver 400 is ancient and I don't believe is compatible with v163 of Fanalab. You should update to driver v439, the latest.
Correct.
As stated in the very first post of this thread driver 439 is the only compatible driver with Fanalab 1.63, no other older driver is working properly with it and especially not a 1 year old ancient driver 400. ;)

where can I find the 439 driver?
In the download section of every product and on the official driver Website fanatec.com/driver and also here in the forum in the driver section.
I find it, thanks for the support
thanks👍️

This issue was reported a week ago and it seems the only solution is to use 1.6.1 until a new version is released as we have not had a response.
