I ordered to US on Oct 3rd. Haven't received a delay notice yet though. That's nice of them to offer refunds to the complainers. That should quiet things down in here a bit. <grin>
(USA customer) I have a V 1.5 Shifter and V2 Base on order 11/10/14, est ship of January 2015. I was told by Customer Service it would ship mid December. I received the same email everyone else is except no mention of the wheel base,

Sounds like a customs clearance issue? I also received a missed phone call tolday from a China number, kind of odd, not sure if it had anything to do with the order but i have never had a call from China? Either way i will use the dusty Logicrap until.

Does anyone know if the 'shipping issue' was between China and Fanatec or between Fanatec and the Customers?
If it's the latter, surely not everyone will be affected only the country/place that particular ship is headed.
However if it's the former, Fanatec have known this whole time that the wheels where not in their hands yet and probably should have given us an update to say they haven't yet received the shipment from China instead of announcing "The wait is over!"
Either way, Thanks everyone for letting us know that this year isn't very likely.

So if the ship containing the first shipment/wave of orders had a crash, i would assume that a second ship of orders would be on the way to fill in the 2nd wave of orders which is supposed to be in 3 days. Unless they sent all orders on the same ship. Anyway, most of us will still wait i guess. I myself have yet to receive the email saying anything about a delay so i'm not expecting a wheel for another month or two.
Omg...a crash...hopefully ship didn't sink and no one died! Terrible news for Fanatec and us off course....Hope a lot of people who started bad mouthing on FB and here shame themselves...

The ship with CSW V2 wheel Bases at the very Moment at sea in the south pacific ocean & underway it left its last port in VALPARASIO ON The 3/12/2014 and is now heading to ist next port & still on ist way to AUSTRALIA with our First shipment of CSW V2 Bases & we should be recieving our Bases by Mid Dec as indicated in an email from Fanatec sent to me
Fanatec are just telling us what they want us to think i asume to cover what ever the real reason for the Delay so if you believe them than you are as stupid as they think we all are so just hang in there As we will have our wheel bases soon
A crash could be as little as a scrape with another vessel, this would cause a delay because the authorities needs to look into it. Not every crash means the ship and its cargo would be totally destroyed and sink. I think someone has jumped to conclusions here with very little evidence.

I Think there will be I checked my a/c order and its marked as shipped on the 5th/Dec/2014 & forwarded to the Aust Post couriers & I'm instructed to wait for tracking N/o for postage to Newcastle NSW so if as usual when I get notification of an order being shipped it takes one day after notice of being shipped to recieve the tracking N/o then 3 days later it will arrive at my door so its looking good for us Aussies to be getting an early Xmas present & about time to so merry Xmas to all and happy gaming

The ship was on the way to Australia at the date we wrote the e-mail.
There was only a delay and we did not know the exact time when the
products are coming to the warehouse.
But today we got the confirmation from the warehouse that they received
the products on stock.
