One shouldn’t expect this part of the forum as being the market of official (issue free) drivers. As depicted clearly, this is the house of beta testing. Nothing more, nothing less...
Big thank you to Marcel and Maurice for their investment!
I think I notice the behavior better than with the previous driver, but if it is true that the uncomfortable blows did not disappear ...
Otherwise everything without problems, except for the already known problems that drag from previous versions ... rotary of the bmw and rotary of the V2
Today I had a disconnection from the base, for a long time that I did not have one, it is as if I disconnected and connected the usb, for 5 seconds it runs out of communication. I do not think it is the new driver, since it has also happened to me before. Does anyone else have micro disconnects?
When he updates the drive, the csp v3 fails. tried a lot of ways, and at last disconnect the pedal when update the new firmware. And then connect the pedal again, it's OK.
We've solved a lot of issues since then but there are also a couple of new ones with the last driver and firmware release it's not the product you bought which is in beta, it's the driver of this thread.
Just informational cause I went looking into this thread again. Looking if the next update is save to get now for the DD1.
Reason: Extremely hart rattling and jolting making me thing the whole attachment of the wheel is loose.
Occasion: Hitting curbs, making them rip the wheel out of my hand at ff strength of game 100% wheel 35-50% without torque inserted.
Solution: Assetto Corsa Curb settings 0% = 100%; having it on 100% means output of 200% curb force. That's too much. Reducing it to 0-30% helps a lot. Wheel is dead silent again.
PS: I was wondering if I can produce such a hart rattle in for example dirt rally on impacts after a huge jump. Would definately fit there.
I have 2.5. Why i'm stacked on v.311/328 from the website download page? I don't understand that..........also i have a bad feeling on the brakes in iRacing, too much lock
iRacing is quite known for oversensitive brakes, what I do against it is adjusting the brake force factor of iRacing to 0.0 because by default it is not acting linear, in addition I'm raising the BRF setting to make the load cell less sensitive.

Do you have issues with Fanalab 1.12? I think the newer settings in the 1.23/1.24 are more for DD than CSW.
I'm on a DD1 with v346 and been using Fanalab 1.12 for months now. No issues (yet).

Thank you Hugo.
Those of you who are using 361 firmware, could report how you doing so far?
Besides the known issues nothing new so far.
I can try this v361 on my CSWB 2.5 with wheel hub?
Thanks
Steve

A friend of mine is having a problem.
Wheel Base Model (product ID): DD1
Steering Wheel Model (product ID): UHX
Driver Version: 361

Are DD1 buyers for $1,700 beta testers?
It's been a year since it was launched. It's hard to understand that there's still a lot of problems.
no, you can also install the stable driver 346.
v346 has a problem. it cannot save H-shifter calibration set. A lot of people reported it to me.
I'll just recommend them using v347.
Please don't use 347 with a DD as that driver was rejected to be DD compatible because of FFB issues.
To which USB is the base connected to? I once had this with front USB and a Hub.

You don't have a rear user, but does it not matter, in 4 months, 2 crops? and when you are 3 or 4 hours a day ...
It is anecdotal.
will this quarentine give you time to fix all the issues and release a new base driver? cheers! (for all wheels and bases I mean)
Good morning ..
come on Maurice....never give up....
So far:
DD: use V346
CSW: use V347
Good luck to Maurice!
Take Care,
Oli

I found this bug ! Spent a week working with support as I thought my brand new shifter was faulty ;-)
Is there a new estimated release date for this firmware? (beta or not)
Best,
Nikos/Miguel
No

Thanks for that and sorry for the confusion :-)

Every lap i feel completely different from the last one and i'm braking in the same point
Are your pedals set to auto calibration in the Fanatec Wheel Property Page? I have them set manually.
Is it better to plug the pedals to the wheel base then?
Yes, i did it, feel like to lose linearity on the brake and i push in the same way
