Updated to v449 , H shifter seems to be sending correctly the buttons now unlike with 448. Do have a new thing , sometimes upshifting simply fails, quite randomly. this wasnt the case on 447. I supose thats what people where already complaining wiht 448.
Interesting because exactly NOTHING has changed for the H-Pattern... 😅
Regarding missed shifts with APM: That's under investigation for the next Firmware release, issue seems to have been introduced with 447 as also people on 447 report about the issue, so it's nothing new with 448 or 449.
as you can see 449 is installed i even deleted all other drivers and even cleaned the registry restarted in between then i did the log files and it showing pc driver 431 for some reason 431 is not deleting probably causing the crash . so if i am uninstalling the other software and cleaning the registry why with the 431 never go away ?
Well might have been somehting on the update process that messed up the H shifter for some reason, not going nuts here and i even sent some videos :) but glad its working now, didnt wanted to rollback the firmware.
One thing that someone may know and i tried to research but probably didnt do a good job, is there some software where you can map a wheel button to send another button value meaning, since i have 4 wheels its quite a pain in some games to have to remap buttons everytime i change the wheel, and would a remap fucntionality like simagic has be a viable or doable software update on future fanalab or driver ?

Hi I have the same problem I have had since v 448 I cannot calibrate my H pattern shifter I have downgraded back to v447 the returned the podium dd1 base firmware to3.0.0.6 ,then updated the drver to v449 but not updated the firmware and all works fine
My apologies I have been dealing with this same problem for quite a while and Fanatec has no good answer and I am just kinda up in arms about what to do .. and saw that you answered other question after mine and figured you just never saw mine .. I will not do that again ..
Can you please zip the whole C:\Users\Public\Fanatec Logs folder and send to us here with 449 installed and at least one crash happened? because currently the Dev does not see the 449 trace in your logs, only 447...
Also, please try:
uninstall current driver package on your PC
check if "C:\Program Files\Fanatec" still exist afterwards
if still existing after uninstall, delete it manually
re-install driver 449
Because he sees an old cause causing problem but this particular code was already removed in the latest driver package, so maybe an old file keep on persisting and does not get overwritten... Which coincidinces with your mention about some stuff still saying driver 431...
that fixed it thanks so much , support was trying to tell me the base was broken ..the old file was being left in windows i manually erased it works perfect now!!!!
Hi. I have a set of CSL Elite LC Pedals v1 connected to PC USB, and a 1.5 Shifter connected via the USB adaptor. I do not have a Fanatec Wheelbase. I have just updated to v449, and every time I go into the Fanatec Control Panel, there is something strange going on with the shifter. With v447 and earlier, whenever I move the lever from H-Pattern to Sequential or Visa Versa, the diagram would change to show whatever I was switching to, but now, when I move the lever it does not change, but if I move it back to where I started, it then changes. Only trouble is, it is now showing the opposite to where I have the lever. I have rebooted PC, but problem still persists, Had problems calibrating too. had to do it a few times to get all gears selected. The adaptor was also updated. I am running Windows 10, Any ideas?
I have a Formula v2 wheel which I recently installed the Advanced Paddle Module. I have the 449 drivers installed and Fanalab 1.69.1. When I go into Fanatec Control Panel, I cannot change the Analog Clutch Paddle setting. I play F1 2020, and I understand that for example Clutch Bite Point isn't supported, but this is with no game loaded. Is this normal? Everything else seems to work fine and all other settings can be modified. Thanks.
Does the new 449 driver fix the f122 issue with the in-game frame rate needing to be set to “quality” (60 fps) over “performance” (120fps) so that you don’t miss shifts and have other issues??
game: F1 22
console: Xbox series X
equipment: V3 pedals, dd1, Xbox Formula V2.0 wheel with APM shifters/clutch.
Comments
Looks like the bootloader on your wheel is broken as the Updater cant access and open the bootloader.
This would be a hardware issue and you would need to contact the support.
👀
How is that possible. ????
its out of the box

Yup, can happen that something is DOA out of the box.

And i dont have APM i have the single shifter modules.
MPM or spring?
MPM are basically APM regarding functionality. So issue happens both with APM AND MPM.

Ok MPM, thanks just wanted to clarify i have the magnetic single ones not the full advance paddle module in case software was different.

You dont need to re-post your answer every day.
It was noticed.

Issue was reproduced and will be fixed in a new upcoming driver which should replace 449 as new RC.

ACP on your wheel is controlled exclusively with the middle MPS and therefore can not be changed in Software.
So everything is as intended and normal here.
Maurice,

Never heard of such an issue and if at all then it needs to be fixed from the game, not via Firmware. So the answer is "no".
Driver 450 available
Changes since 449:
This driver will probably go onto the website next week to then also trigger the automatic update notification of the previous driver.
