I had that problem on the xbox several times. For me what did help was to turn off the game and the base. Connect the base to the PC, open the Fanatec control panel and start the base. Then make the force feedback test. The first time then its very weak, but the next time(s) its fine. Then it works for me in game again.
Fanatec have already confirmed that this release has already been escalated from release candidate to official driver. Yup - this buggy mess warrants full release status. It's literally the best they can do. Jokers.
Interesting. I assumed since doing 'Check for Update' in Fanatec Control Panel doesn't find a newer driver, 452 wasn't released yet. That page says otherwise.
When you want to downgrade you always first need to uninstall the newer version first before you can install the older version. Then you need to manually downgrade the Base FW.
Anyone with Formula V2 wheel noticed the OLED screen stopped to work using iRacing after these updates? Only the RPM Leds are working, the OLED test on Fanatec Control Panel is fine.
Since i upgraded to 452 my csl dd and mclaren gt3 v2 i can't assign wheel buttons in ACC in PC MODE, it works only in COMPATIBILITY MODE...i hope this will be fixed in 453
Rally Podium Module just shows garbage on the OLED display. Noticed the quick guide buttons to change mode are completely wrong too. Not sure what's going on
Please provide pictures or videos of the "garbage" the display shows.
For me it shows the correct gear, Fuel data, lap, position info etc.
Ypu just need to make sure that the native in-game LED and Display support is disabled so it does not interfere with the FanaLab LED and Display stuff.
For the RevLED feature you need to manually set the correct RPM LED value for each button in the RPM Tab, the BMR does not have its own FW-based RevLED Mode like the BMW has, its only done via FanaLab.
Also the Quick Guide in the web indeed currently shows the incorrect button combo, the one printed in the box is however correct as it shows the "old" button combo which in the meantime was changed in a new firmware coming soon with driver 453 which is the one which the web version is already showing.
My revlights on the Formula Carbon wheel show me way to early that I'm on max rpm but only in ACC. In iRacing the revlights works as intended.
I also double check that behavior with Simhub and my Grid Brows. I activated the RPM lights on my Grid Brows and in iRacing they are perfectly in sync with the ingame and the revlights on my Formula carbon, in ACC the brows and ingame are in sync but the Formula Carbon is way ahead.
I only use the driver 452 without Fanalab on my CSL DD 8nm in comp mode. I also don't know if this happens with the old driver because the last time i played ACC was 4 or 5 month in the past and i updated the driver before i started ACC.
The driver or firmware does not control the LED values coming from the game. It's the game which sends the signal to let a LED light up when you dont use other Tools like the Lab.
If the LEDs light up too early (or too late) then the game developer did not implemented them properly.
You would need to report this to Kunos and mention the exact cars where you think they implemented the RPM LEDs wrong.
If you want true correct LEDs then you always have to use FanaLab and set the correct LED RPM value (and color on RGB capable wheels) to match the in-game LED.
Hi @Maurice, I‘m glad that my CS DD has been shipped. Does the current 452 driver support the CS DD already or do I need at least the 453 version that is about to be released? And if so, will the new driver be released in-time? Thank you in advance!

Rally Module installed on Podium Hub with standard QR2 on a DD1 Base. It's touch and go if it detects the wheel or not?
Seems like 452 is half baked and not an RC at all. Seeing all the problems people have had with itnhere I don't recommend anyone upgrade.
I've got the same issue, fingers and toes are crossed that 453 later this month solves all of that

Maybe this works for you too.
Oké thanks. I play one hour and had no issues but I did not use fanalab. I’m thinking it is in fanalab or fanatec software or driver
When is the 453 driver release?

I had already noticed that nearly two weeks ago...And I'm still confused 🙄

Hi there,
I just installed 452 for my CSL DD and did all provided Firmware Updates.
Now when playing ETS2 I am not able to assign any buttons in the setup while my Fanatec is plugged in.
ETS2 always recognizes a "joy down" input when trying to assign a wheel button.
Andy clue?
I tried to downgrade to 451 but got the message, that it is not possible to install 451 because a newer version was found.

I found a strange issue.

453 is being uploaded right now and is the one to be used for CS DD owners.
Driver 453 now available
