Maybe Fanatec are the Ebenezer Scrooge (before the ghosts visit) of the sim racing world? Or is The Grinch more appropriate, since they for sure have stolen Christmas for hundreds, if not thousands of kids?

How does Fanatec differ from a typical internet scammer?
The answer is: An internet scammer doesn't have a forum where people express their dissatisfaction and frustrations.
When a scammer deceives you, after a week, you forget and move on.

It's been a month since placing the order, and if it weren't for this forum and one message through PayPal's claim system, there would be no information.
i’m 3 days away from a credit card fraud report. I guess I’ll have to go that far to have a chance to get my money back 🤷🏼♂️ first and last time I order anything with this company
This probably isn't going to help me any further, because the response rate from Fanatec is low, but let's give it a try.
I've ordered on 17 November. I've received the invoice on 28 November, but so far i didn't receive anything. No concrete reaction on the emails i've send to customer care, no news about when i can "expect" the delivery, no tracking code, and most of all; No product.
i'm 17!! business day futher after receiving the invoice, and 24 business days after the initial order and there is absolute no news. Could you please check what is up with order 1794673? I know you guys are bussy, but for the love of god a little communication would be nice.
its normal that from china it may take one month delivery especially if use economy method, at least when i ordered at there it takes that long, as we know Fanatec uses China aswell and if they run out products, it may take some time when new one arrives. government not really can todo much about this situation if company runs out products and they wait new ones at factory
My order from November 23rd - 1821076 still says handover to warehouse.
Thats now 28 days without any progress, and there should be nothing with the Porsche GT3 wheel that is delayed. I didnt even choose a QR2 wheel side as I bought one with another order.
Would really appreciate some escalated help with this as it makes no sense given the time period, the blog updates from Fanatec and that I am inside the EU so not even a customs reason!

of course the German government can help. but to them, Fanatec. so that they will pay them generous funds at the end of the year due to a successfully managed financial year and business policy.
but what is that todo with orders? i mean if Fanatec does have all the items in Warehouse they would happily send them out to users but they simply can't as they may not have them yet.

let say you have steering wheel in shop, but QR2 is in preorder status , by default it means for customer that they send out when QR2 arrive aswell to the warehouse

You ordered the QR2. It's not in stock. That's why it says in your customer account that the order is still being processed...
