Something to check and try, although not generally known if it works.
1) Suspend Anti-Virus Software checking or add an exemption for the Fanatec software.
2) Check on the "Core Isolation -> Memory Integrity" security feature of window 11, if set to on, turn it off (This does open a potential security hole, so do so at your own risk) and try the Fanatec driver install again . If it does work, you may be able to turn the Memory Integrity feature back on with out issue after the driver update).
I am still running Windows 10 on old computer that can't have the "Core Isolation -> Memory Integrity" security feature turned on and I have had practically zero problems with the Fanatec drivers and FW updates in 2 years of updating.
maybe check the Core isolation features like kernel
also what Event Viewer tells after you try install? does it show you any Error messages?
do you have enough free hdd/ssd space for install?
difference between 10 and 11 is that they to added some extra security features to the Core isolation. but you should still able install them because i been run self them in win 11
PC Compatibility Mode only. Since upgrading to 464 from 463 my DD2 only works in PC Compatibility mode, will all my wheels. Tried going back to 463 but same issue present there too now. In PC Mode it goes into a loop trying to see the base as a Clubsport. Is this a known issue? The base appears to function fine in comp mode so far (limited testing), but should I expect any issues running in comp mode?

While I'm playing the wheel suddenly turns off for a second, the controls no longer respond and this is preceded by a strong hit to the wheel, after this the wheel seems to have returned to its correct functioning if it were not for the dash on the wheel base that returns to the basic screen even though it is selected differently on fanalab and remains so even if I try to select other screens until I deactivate and reactivate the intelligent telemetry mode, the video attached here shows the problem ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/17712wO9-13lpLkspp_e3JgSwK_ZkEXd_/view?usp=sharing ). I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall Fanatec Control Panel and Fanalab but it was of no use. Hello. After the driver update my loadcell pedal is oversensitive. Before i used to drive with BRF on 40 and now on even max BRF it brakes hard with litle amount of pressure. I am on CSL DD with Mclaren V2 and CSL pedals V1 with loadcell connected to base.
I installed the new Driver and updated WheelBase Firmware. No issues there. Then I noticed in Le Mans Ultimate my "Device is not Connected" because it is no longer called FANATEC. I double checked Windows Gamecontroller Settings and its called now: "8-Achse 108-Taste Rennwagensteuerung mit Mehrwegeschalter"

i bought the gt dd pro 8nm bundle a month ago, which unfortunately had to be sent for repair. now everything works perfectly. now i'm a bit worried about updating to the latest firmware and the new driver, because i don't want anything to go wrong. is there any changelogs to read about the new firmware ? or should i just leave the firmware old ?
Fanatec control panel is telling me there is a pc driver update, even though i have the latest 464 version? This only popped up today, i have had it installed for a while with no issues? I have DD+ with latest firmware installed. When i clicked on the update, nothing happened, no browser window, it just closed the control panel? I un-installed the driver completely, shut down PC, re installed 464, re-booted PC and it is still there?
fanatec drivers send sometimes out for directx that it's 2 axis and sometimes it send 1 axis, so what is actually the right one?
with 1 axis there seems better control the ffb Oscillation, but i'm kind off lost in here because it send sometimes out as 2 Axis
worst part is i not even know where that issue comes from, does some game manipulate the registry for his gaming needs and it not change back to normal?
or it is actually some sort bug ?
that's probably also reason why in one game sometimes i had zero Oscillation. but out off nowhere it started happen

Hello since the 464 update, my clubsport steering wheel formula V2.5 has problems when changing gears. Indeed, the paddles do not respond at certain times, which makes the steering wheel unusable. here are the versions of my firmware: WHEEL BASE 1.3.0.1 WHEEL BASE MOTOR 1.0.3.2 STEERING WHEEL 1.0.2.0 QUICK RELEASE 6.0.1.1 Do you have a solution please because I only ride with this wheel
As listed in the known issues in the changelog: Thats a known issue of every firmware since driver 456. You need to downgrade the firmware back to the ones included in driver 455.
The problem is the same with version 455... Do you have a solution to the problem? I unscrewed and tightened the Qieck Release perfectly, nothing helps.
I have this problem too. After opening the Control Panel, it immediately jumps to the new driver available section.
I have a DD2, and since yesterday the program has been crashing a lot in Iracing, the steering wheel is stuck. This makes it impossible to race..
Can I revert to the previous driver by deleting the previous one and installing the older version? I want to restore version 463, I hope that will work.
Another question: Can the Erase motor Cal and Motor Cal buttons be used? It doesn't cause any problems, what is it for?
You need to downgrade the FIRMWARE, not just the driver as the issue lies in the firmware, not the driver. So without downgrading the Firmware but only the driver of course the issue is still present
Ok. But unfortunately with this 464 driver the steering wheel freezes while playing, only restarting the steering wheel helps. I haven't had such a problem before. I'm waiting for the new driver..
So as i see from answers, nothing will be fixed this year. Products were released months/years ago and have the same bugs and even more since release! What a joke this has become. What is the ETA of any driver that will actually fix any of the problems? Early next year is not the answer, because for Fanatec, this can be summer 2025...
I have driver 464 installed the software keeps saying there is a driver update available, tried removing, repairing, redownloading reinstalling, it just keeps saying the same, CSL DD Pro 8 Nm working liking a charm btw

if it run only comp mode, then there is issue either with driver or driver installation. but im too old for this kind games. so im use 451 instead
comp mode self should be just fine as well if you want run in that mode

if issue comes from firmware, then drivers reinstall self have no effect.

fanatec DD2 does cost 1500 euros, so i'm not mood play with they firmware like they hardware cost 50 eurs
if i see issue i uninstall it and use older version instead
only what i can recommend is use the latest drivers and firmware what worked for you before issues started

i bought the gt dd pro 8nm bundle a month ago, which unfortunately had to be sent for repair. now everything works perfectly. now i'm a bit worried about updating to the latest firmware and the new driver, because i don't want anything to go wrong. is there any changelogs to read about the new firmware ? or should i just leave the firmware old ?
The changelog is included as a txt file with every driver download and also in the driver control panel itself through the Firmware Manager.
games by default detects hardware differently, if user types in registry hardware name as donald duck, it should by default still work ok in games
my csl dd on xbox works really bad with the 464 driver.
- total shutdown of the mclaren gt3 steering wheel led screen
- impossible to select setup
- total block of movements in the game menu, forced restart to get back into the game
- serious problems with the brakes, useless restart
I reinstalled the 455 driver, I only have the 455 and the 462, it's not perfect but I can play.
