As already said on your Reddit post: The BMR Display is currently completely broken on the CS DD. It is a known Firmware issue to be fixed at some point in the future, either late this or early next year to be precise.

The Camera issue in GT7 is also a known Firmware issue, also to be fixed at some point in the future, either late this or early next year to be precise as its planned for the same release. You can workaround this by setting the ACP Mode to Analogue Axis in the Tuning Menu.

In GT7 any wheel w/o an analog Joystick will have the camera move issue as GT7 uses that for left right. W APM you can set ACP mode to analog axis to compensate and then use clutch paddles for left/rigth view

Longstanding issue not related to latest FW

  • That's totally my fault for overlooking the details thank you. This was an issue before i tried that however and it did not make things worse thankfully. Any ideas for trouble shooting this sudden ffb weakness? i currently have drivers and firmware updated to the most recent versions. Thanks again!

  • Are you saying go to 455 instead of 464? Im not exactly sure.

i'm saying you should not use 366 like Maurice Böschen tell , because for you probably minimum is 455 what works correctly

  • Hello, I don't know what to do anymore between the losses of FFB and the lack of feeling in slow turns since update 4.64
I reinstalled the 4.55 driver but that didn't solve the problem. Should we downgrade the base or the steering wheel? I'm completely lost.
All the drivers other than the main driver which is in 4.55 have been updated since version 4.64
I haven't downgraded anything I don't know how to do it and especially which version to put?
    Thanks in advance

to you look your game settings and the Fanatec control panel settings ? settings to may change sometimes when you todo updates

  • Hello, I’ve the DD+ and last week just received the new RedBull V2.5x steering wheel, so I’ve connected everything to PC and updated to this latest firmware.

From that point, I’m experiencing FFB issues. I’m loosing FFB for like 2 seconds.

    Anyone with the same issue?

I had this before but on previous driver (455 I think) this was not happening anymore. Also tried to use wheelbase in PS4 mode but issues appears also.

  • Yes Allan checked and put the same settings that I had before update 4.64.
another question should I activate the Gameinputservice because apparently it causes problems
and I had deactivated it for a long time on one of the two lines as you can see in the photo.
    thank you in advance

  • I have desactived "Host service for gameinpunt"

I deactivated the option a few months ago because it avoided FFB outages with the old Firmware. my problems appeared again from the moment I wanted to update to 4.63 and then I tried 4.64.

  • clubsport dd+, with this version of firmware, in rbr I can get no ffb, when i return to driver 462 and its firmware, ffb returns to work

  • Will try going back on driver and firmware. Thanks for that info

  • I just updated to driver 464 and updated my wheel base firmware to 2.3.0.1. Now my base & wheel are no longer recognized in FanaLab. However, the devices do appear correctly in Fanatec Control Panel. They are also recognized in my game.

    1. Update driver and FW separately to isolate an issue and find out if caused by driver OR firmware. I updated both prior to launching FanaLab. I am happy to make changes to troubleshoot, but I don't want to go changing things randomly.
    2. Which driver OR firmware shows the issue? The issue appears with driver version 464 and wheel base firmware 2.3.0.1.
    3. Which driver OR firmware does not show the issue. Everything worked correctly with version 463, but I am unsure what wheel base firmware I was on previously.
    4. Check if you can reproduce the issue again if you go back to the version which seems to have caused the issue I am happy to do this, but I am unsure how to proceed. Do I need to uninstall all drivers and install version 463? How can I obtain a previous wheel base firmware?
    5. Check if the issue is related to specific settings of for example the tuning menu. Is it happening more or less with a specific setting raised or lowered? Not applicable.
    6. Post the answers gathered from the questions above + a short description of the issue including the following info:
    • Wheel Base Model (product ID): ClubSport DD+ (CS_DDp_US)
    • Steering Wheel Model (product ID): Podium Button Module Endurance (P_BME), Podium Advanced Paddle Module (P_APM), Podium Hub (P_HUB_PURE)
    • Driver Version: PC DRIVER 464
    • Base FW Version: 2.3.0.1
    • Motor FW Version: Not applicable
    • Wheel FW Version: Steering Wheel 6, Button Module 24
    • FanaLab Version: V2.02.54
    • Tuning Menu settings Not applicable
    • Driver/FanaLab installed on C: drive or else? The driver is installed on the C: drive in the default location.
    • With driver related issues collect log files and zip them from C:\Users\Public\Fanatec Logs Links to logs below

  • I uninstalled all Fanatec applications, then reinstalled the latest 464 driver and FanaLab and it is working now. Sorry for the clutter on the forum! :-)

  • here are my settings since I switched back to 4.55 but I feel that there is a problem with FFB which is weak in the turns. This happened since updating my database. I don't know which version to put? thank you for helping me. peace

  • Hi the Red Bull f1 wheel has rumble motors in it. I had the same issue.

    To fix the issue:

Enter the Fanatec menu and set “SHO OFF”

Doing this stops the motors activating and stops the base crashing.

for some reason this issue is getting ignored and skirted over in this forum which is leaving a bad taste for many customers and is not a good look for Fanatec in general.

I sited this thread as tje reason for my return of over €2000 worth of Fanatec gear.

CSL DD 5NM  MCLAREN WHEEL V2  THRUSTMASTER TLCM
Good morning ! with driver4.55 the ffb cuts seem to have stopped
but I have a bad feeling in the steering wheel in the settings lack of information this must be due to the last update of the base or engine
when I was upgrading to version 4.64.
My question is how and especially which version to reinstall for the engine? Which version of Fanalab should I take so that it is compatible with 4.55?
thank you in advance for your help, I can solve all these problems

    • Wheel Base Model (product ID): ... Fanatec DD+ base.
    • Steering Wheel Model (product ID): .... Endurance button module with podium shifters
    • Driver Version: .... 464
    • Base FW Version: .... 2.3.0.1.
    • Motor FW Version: ....
    • Wheel FW Version: .... Podium HUB:6, BME:24, Wireless quick release:1.1.0.3.

I play GT7 on PS5, and recently in one hour long race, when 6 minutes was left till the end of the race, my shifters stop working, BME is not reacting to any button and no FFB at all. 20 seconds before me the same issue appeared to another guy in the same lobby, he`s having the same setup, just previous drivers 463. the screen on the BME was blinking "WARNING Steering wheel not supported! Please update the Firmware!" So next day I connected the base to the PC, and there are no new Firmware at all. Any help, recomendations?

  • I'm sure this has been asked but I can't seem to find it. These drivers are for Windows only, correct?

I'd love to see support on arm64 Apple Silicon Macbooks and amd64 Linux workstations. Apple silicon especially since they are actually usable for gaming.

I have to dualboot Windows and Linux since the drivers are Windows only and would rather just use Linux.

mac mostly not supported because there are not actually many race games what officially build for this hardware.

if comes to PC, FFB games started made over 20 years ago, so market at there is way bigger

  • Unfortunately, Fanatec drivers are for Windows only. I only use my Fanatec gear on PlayStation 5, so I must resort to using my Windows 10 work laptop to do any base, wheel, and pedal firmware updating. As a Mac home user myself it’s disappointing. =( But I understand why Fanatec doesn’t spend time on Apple. Apple is a closed walled garden. You must jump through a lot of hoops to have your software approved by them. Also, there is no major racing title on Mac OS, so there’s that. I’d be willing to bet if AC EVO, iRacing, and LMU were to magically natively appear on Mac OS, then maybe then Fanatec would look at it. I don’t see that happening though.

  • Is there somewhere some chart or web application whre you can check the products you have and it will result the firmware which will work with your equipment..and telling the issues by firmware version... Reading these posts and looking that this has issue with leds, this has misshifting, this and that if you use with that but not with that, who can know by which firmware your base, wheel, handbrake, shifter will work with pc, xbox, playstation?

miss shift as far i know does not exist in 455 firmware , at least in DD2 and with older version off Formula 2.5 x what have the 47 frimware, other hardware's i not know atm

user still can use latest drivers, its just the firmware seems have bug

if talk about DD2 up miss shift, its not mega critical because it does not happen constantly but it does exist for some reason and its annoying

  • Hello, it is a good Driver for csl Elite base for PS5 ?

  • edited December 21

'm trying to update my DD1 base. I've reinstalled several drivers but it always gives an error, as per the attached logs. I need help to resolve this situation.

    Base firmware: 3.0.4.3

    Firmware engine: 3.0.0.2

I've tried to downgrade, through fantatec control, but it gives an error. I've downloaded drivers from previous versions, but it always gives an error.
