What do you suggest I do beyond what is in the documentation and the prompts when enabling Telemetry in Fanalab. It successfully enabled telemetry the first time I ran thru the process, now when I enable telemetry it returns the following. rFactor2: Plugin copy failed! (Could not find a part of the path 'plugin\pudiumFactor2Plugin.dll"
Same with Assetto Corsa Competizione. Enable Telemetry in Fanalab, says no setup needed. Enable Fanalab Game LED/Hardware Support, tells me to Disable Fanatec LEDS, which are disabled.
In game Set speed to KPH, HUD displays KPH, DD2 displays KPH.
In game Set speed to display MPH, HUD displays MPH, DD2 still displays KPH.
Drivers 372, Fanalab 1.47b, DD2 with podium porsche kit (all latest firmwares) I have noticed a minor issue - PBME rpm led bar stays parially on, even after quitting the game (ACC). The other I have noticed in ACC is that some times the one of the side groups of leds on PBME stays on for a long time. This happens (but not every time) on single player hotlap session, after return to garage and immediately start lap.
Actually I am not sure if these issues are fanalab or drivers/firmware or ACC related.
Do you mean by clicking the 2 green tabs in game profile? If that yes,in fact the LEDs on the wheel are showing what I input on Fanalab but the display on the DD2 unit is showing all values at 0
Is there a way to not get Fanalab to minimize to the bottom left and stay on top of all windows? I even checked minimize to system tray and it still goes bottom left.
Thanks for your help,I don't know it's strange to me as well to be honest.
By the way yes installed in default location and I only use f1 2020 and ACC and they both work fine with the gears LEDs and the display on the wheel but both games don't show no values on the DD2 base.
It's strange because the wheel is working fine so it means Fanalab is receiving the telemetry from the game,
I installed the latest version of Fanalab and I'm running the latest firmware and latest drivers.
Which firmware are you running? You need the latest 674 from driver 373, old firmwares will show all 0 because communication was changed in latest Build.
I can't remember which version it is at the moment,I will double check it tomorrow.
I thought I was fine in this side because when I click on properties and then update drivers and firmware a pop up appears saying that I already have the latest firmware (drivers) installed.
Would you like to downgrade?
So I always clicked no assuming I was running the latest ones
I will check tomorrow though, hopefully we found the issue, thanks.
Update: you say I need the 674 from driver 373 where do I download them please?do I need to download them manually?
So far I have always used the PC driver tool who search for updates when you click the update button.
All it does is checking if you have the firmware installed which is included in the driver. Its not a smart program, it cant check if there is anything newer available online. I am 100% sure this is your issue because, as said, old Firmwares before Firmware 673 are not compatible with FanaLab 1.47 and show all 000000 for everything because communication of the ITM was changed!
The wheel displays the version first followed by 022 and I cannot find any info what that number means.
In Fanalab 1.47 (in the driver config tool as well) the Tuning Menu is grayed out stating the wheel base is not compatible. Why? This makes no sense to me, because the settings work just fine in any game and changing them while driving works as well.
I am tracking the settings now in an Excel sheet, but that is a PITA.
CSL 1.1 does not support Tuning Menu in the driver or FanaLab, I think because different and not so advanced electronics as CSL PS4. You are limited to adjust it on the fly in the wheel Tuning Menu, no way to control it via software.
It kinda sucks though. I have the gear just a week. If I had known I would have ordered a different wheel base. I double checked and this difference is nowhere mentioned on the Fanatec web site. I did not order the PS4 version on purpose. For starters it is $50 more just for the license fees towards Sony. I never see myself buying a PSxyz...
I have the Porsche GT3 wheel with Advanced Podium Button Module. Every time I power on my DD1, my APBM is on the "ITM" screen and I have to manually select one of the pre-defined ITM screens.
I see the option in FanaLab to set 1-5 for my DD1 unit. But the 1-5 options for my APB module aren't electable. How do I have it so I don't have to keep selecting a screen on my button module?
I have 5 options (above) for my DD1. If I select one, when I power off and power on my DD1 it remembers what screen to show.
On my button module, it shows the 5 screens but they aren't selectable and when I power on/off my DD1, I have to manually choose a screen, otherwise it shows a blank screen with "ITM" in lower right hand corner.
The DD will always boot at the default FANATEC logo screen and the BME will always boot at the Legacy Screen which also shows ITM name on the bottom right to indicate ITM is available. You can not select a different boot screen.
As listed in the first post selection of ITM pages is actually limited to DD screens, BME to follow next. So you actually can not select the ITM pages in Fanalab so you need to use the Button combination to switch through the different pages.
How do you keep the DD1 on the default logo screen?
For me if I use the ACC Mercedes AMG GT3 profile you created and edit it to select Default and save the profile, Fanalab always reverts back to having ITM screen 1 active on the DD1 everytime I run ACC. If I go back into the profile it shows Default unselected and profile 1 as selected again.
I am saving over the profile you created should I save it as a new name for this edit to work?
Might be a bug with this version of Fanalab as I have been unable to save it and have it show default screen on DD1 since using your profiles you posted.
You need to disable all the green icons in the ITM Tab. Those are icons for the new feature called auto page switch so ITM automatically switches to the respective ITM page where the value of the green icon is changing.

That was a helpful response, thanks.

The other info displays fine, its just speed.
Restarting the game and fanalab doesn't help.
What exactly am I missing?
I thought MPH wasn't supported in this version only KPH. Sure i read that previously in this thread.
You need to change to MPH in Fanalab in the settings, not in the game.
MPH is fixed since two weeks with the release of the hotfix 1.47B.

Did you enable telemetry for ACC in Fanalab? Sounds like you didn't, if all values show a 0.
Do you mean by clicking the 2 green tabs in game profile? If that yes,in fact the LEDs on the wheel are showing what I input on Fanalab but the display on the DD2 unit is showing all values at 0
And you disabled the Fanatec LED in ACC and all ITM Pages show no values?
Yes, that's correct mate
Okay to more questions, then Im out :P You used the default install location? Which other games do you run? Do they work?
Is there a way to not get Fanalab to minimize to the bottom left and stay on top of all windows? I even checked minimize to system tray and it still goes bottom left.

Hi Maurice,

Oh gosh I feel so stupid now 🤣.
Do I need to download firmare i Just found the link to?
Because I can see it was released last month and I'm pretty sure this is the problem like you said.

Regarding Tuning Menu:
I have two questions:
I am tracking the settings now in an Excel sheet, but that is a PITA.
Any hints greatly appreciated.

022 is the motor firmware.

It was indeed the firmware that needed update Maurice, working like a charm now, thanks so much for your help.

Awww, I see. Glad to know I was not missing an easy setting or something. Thank you.

Thank you Maurice for the info it is much appreciated, this worked perfectly.
iRacing Yellow flag light does not illuminate when either in a local or full course yellow.
Yep, known issue.
