I'm not aware of any trade-offs so and have heard only positive things so far regarding this change. The improvement on direction changes comes from the fixed/removed stickiness which was a bad side effect of the anti cogging algorithm. The algorithm was tweaked to not have the side effect anymore.
After driver update I got update in update manager wheel base firmware DD2 to 689 to and motor firmware to 41. Is this 41 motor firmware same as test firmware for that version I need to manually update??
Thank you for answer. Got confused by same number of firmware version V41 after update but figured it out that it wasn't same so updated manually to test V41. Can confirm smoother feel all around.
I own a Csl elite v1.1 along with the Clubsport formula V2 wheel. After installing the latest firmware update.
In game configuration will not remember the settings I have made in Ams2 or Assetto corsa. I have tried to change the firmware back to V423
but still will not remember settings after rebooting the game.I can go to the Fanatec firmware and see that all controllers, buttons and lights working when I test them.
I have to reconfigure the settings everytime I reboot the game?? I am lost on why this is happening. I tried deleting all game files and reinstalling them. That didnt work either.
I use csl elite pedals with the LC for about 4 years now .
Generally speaking i had no issues and still i don't. But since the drivers wanted to connect the pedals through usb to update them i can not update them from v1.9 to v1.10. The driver detects the pedals it seems to make the update on the firmware but it says again v1.9.
The most annoying thing is that the LC inputs seem so wrong when connected through usb. When i press the brake it goes 1678% or something like that . It seems to bee really sensitive to any input.
When i connect my pedals through my csl elite ps4 wheelbase everything works perfect.
Any ideas?
Trying to update my pedals since v1.10 came out for csl elite pedals.
I installed driver 429 and updated the Firmware of my CSL DD motor and the change was amazing (Coming from 415) not sure if you've done something in between, or if my previous driver wasn't correctly loaded, but the change is really night and day. Everything feels "sharper", as putting glasses on... but in your hands.
Sorry but can I check which download of 429 is that from? Is that from page 1 of this thread, as it is stated in the change notes that the motor firmware is 1.0.1.3 for the CSL DD.
Marcel also posted the same link on page 3 of this thread. Same copy, no difference of course.
I'm on 429 and still having an issue with the PBME on CSL DD, in some games when I try to change the ITM screen, it gets stuck in tuning mode. The only way out is to turn off the base.
Updated to 429 using DD1 and Porsche GT3 podium wheel with BME. Still getting the issue where the torque key message will randomly appear on the BME screen when in use. There’s no loss of power or torque and the wheel works normally otherwise. I noticed this has been mentioned on other forum posts - is it a known issue? Thanks.
I've had the same problem with a BMW GT2 wheel and a CSL DD. I did a downgrade of driver and firmware of the CSL DD and then updated again with a P1 wheel instead of the GT2 which fixed it for me. Maybe just flashing the firmware again with the firmware manager without a wheel mounted would be enough, otherwise try downgrading and updating again without wheel mounted.
Right, but it can get stuck in the tuning menu which mine did, just as someone else has reported on one of the earlier pages. The only way to get out of the tuning menu was either removing the wheel or shut down the base, but issue would reoccur some time later after restart. So my guess would be it's rather a firmware issue on the base than with the ITM/PBME.
Hello, the latest driver 429 and fanalab (version 1.60.2) cannot be used normally in Windosw 11. The Win11 system can recognize the device normally, but the driver UI and fanalab cannot be opened. Please pay attention to this problem. Thank you!

issues with endurance module i have sent this in 3 times and the issue keep appearing .
What issue?
can you add the logs which it offers you after pressing the ok button
regarding what?
It's high on the list to get fixed.

That's awesome. Well done to the team who worked on this!

No.
Would love to see raw data again when centrering your wheel. Now i've no clue if it really centered. Diview helps as a workaround, tho

Just wanna say THANK YOU to the support team for their commitment in proposing this community the best possible drivers.
my new log
😀🤗
Regarding what?!
You have to start guessing now! You have three attempts! 😅

429 packages does not work with CSP V2's.
USB connected = fails to start
PS/2 connected = great within the new UI,measures/calibrates pedals perfect, recognised as 2 pedal CSL
but everything else reports the pedals as digital not analogue
back to 423
pedals still get reported as digital rather than analogue when using PS/2
but works fine when CSP's plugged in via USB
The 429 does not have an update motor firmware for the CSL DD. It is still the same as the 415 right? It is the wheel base that has a new firmware.
CSL DD (most updated firmware currently)
base firmware: 1.0.5.3 (from 429)
base motor firmware: 1.0.1.3 (from 415)
No, 429 contains new Motor Firmware 1.0.2.1 for CSL DD AFAIK.
Sorry but can I check which download of 429 is that from? Is that from page 1 of this thread, as it is stated in the change notes that the motor firmware is 1.0.1.3 for the CSL DD.

The 429 driver only has an updated firmware for the CSL base and not the motor. Still using 1.0.1.3. I just did my update.
