I still have problems when tabbing out of the game (F1 2021) and back in while being in the pause menu. After that my forcefeedback is always broke and the wheel turns uncontrolled right and left even on the straights.
I am using a DD1 with Formula V2 and CSL Elite LC Pedals.
At the moment I have the driver version 434 with the newest firmware (690, 42 and 43). I also tried 429 with its firmware and it also didnt work. Only after going back to 415 everything was normal.
Is there anyone having the same issue or does anybody have an idea how to solve the problem?
Before 434 when braking, my pedal and my F1 Esports wheel vibrates when I press it hard enough to activate BLI. By "before 434" I mean on 429 on the GT DD PRO or any older firmware on my CSL Elite + base.
Vibrations, particularly from F1 wheel was strong enough so I can feel them on my whole rig and seat, very strong vibrations. And I like that because it helps me very much with my braking and main reason I stay on F1 wheel are that vibrations.
But, after 434 I don't have that. I feel some vibrations but they are very weak. When I click on wheel rumble test, my wheel vibrates very strong, I can feel it on my rig and seat, so wheel is ok. There is something with new firmware I guess, because now we for SHO only have ON and OFF, we lost scale to 100. Now I have a feel like this was 10 maybe :D
So, should I try to go back to 429 to correct this issue?
My other problem, and I dunno is it connected to the first one is that I can't upgrade my V3 pedals (from 1.31 to 1.32). I unplugged RJ from base and connect pedals with USB cable to my PC, I have info about new firmware. I click to update, update was done successfully, I close update window but now I see only my base and wheel. I unplugged pedals USB and plug it back, I can see pedals now, but again I have info that I have new firmware for pedals. I change to different USB port, but nothing, same again.
Driver 434 made my CSL DD base not to connect when wheel is not attached when starting up. Same behaviour if I start base before PC bootup without wheel.
I noticed the same thing, since updating, the force feedback on Dirt Rally 2.0 doesn't feel right and the wheel is erratic in menus. If I pause while I'm turning the wheel, it will continue to want to turn in the direction I was turning after pressing pause. If I have a crash and attempt a restart the wheel will quickly turn left and right a few times prior to race start, previously it would just center itself.
I have also noticed some jolts (with default FANATEC screen up) while racing the MX5 on iRacing which never occurred previously. I'm using the latest Fanalab and recommended settings, I have also made the adjustments in the "app.ini" suggested by Maurice on the forums.
I then downgraded to driver version 429 and the included firmware 689 and 41. I can confirm this resolved the issues I was having in Dirt Rally 2.0. The force feedback is noticeably better and the wheel is normal in menus again. I attempted with the driver alone first and it didn't help, firmware downgrade was required.
I also haven't experienced any jolts while in the MX5 on iRacing (While the default FANATEC logo is on) since downgrading.
I think I'm also going to downgrade to v429. I am experiencing in ACC some oscillations in the straight line and when I brake that I did not have before. And driving becomes impossible. Also now I have shakes when I never had them before
I use Maurice's settings and none from the game. But MAGIA works well today!!!. I love v434 but I do notice that every time I turn on the base it seems to go differently depending on the day. Thank you very much for your answer. Greetings
After updating to this from an old firmware my wheel's tuning menu has only Sensitivity and FF Strength available. Previously there were several other parameters to tune. Is this a new problem or were the other parameters deliberately removed earlier?
Sorry to here that... Luis actually described two problems ;-) which one do you have?
"I still have problems when tabbing out of the game (F1 2021) and back in while being in the pause menu. After that my forcefeedback is always broke and the wheel turns uncontrolled right and left even on the straights."
Is related to the NFR setting (at least for luis as well as for me). How would you describe ur issue?
Same exact issue here with DR2.0 after updating to v434 and corresponding firmwares. Haven't tried to downgrade yet... any news on possible fix on next update?
Hi guys. Just wondering if there was any chance that an update in the future might address an issue I, and others, have. It is to do with the BRF slider. At the moment it only adjusts in increments of 10. Was wondering if it would be possible to make those adjustments in increments of at least 5? Thanks.

• Added CS SW BMW V2/ CS SW RS APM recolonization
Does anyone have any idea what this actually means?
I'm absolutely clueless.
That the UI is now recognizing the mentioned wheels with APM when attached.
I'm running high end hardware. 9900K and 2080Ti
Anyone?
HI guys, here is my problem:
GT DD PRO base with 434
F1 Esports wheel
V3 pedals
GTSport

Sorry wrong quote, can't delete on phone.
i am having this same problem on all games as well.
dd1 podium w/ HE pedels
I guess if no one else is having issues with this then I should RMA?
wich games have you tried?
In F1 2021 it is still the same for me but i tried acc yesterday and i had no problems with tabbing out and in.
Have you tried it with other titles?
Is it just the shifter or you lose total control of the rim? ie turning it does nothing.
What's ur NFR setting? If >0 try setting it to 0 and check if it changes anything

Hello. What are or where do I find those settings for app.ini? Thanks
I think I'm also going to downgrade to v429. I am experiencing in ACC some oscillations in the straight line and when I brake that I did not have before. And driving becomes impossible. Also now I have shakes when I never had them before
Thank you for the tip, it actually helped.
No problems with NFR = 0 any more.
It also fixed the issue with the wheel tirnung in a direction in menus as described by @Adrian Bennett.
Still hoping it will be fixed in the future because for me it is ok to drive NRF = 0 but i think there are many people who maybe need the setting...
I am having the exact same problems.
ACC now has damper as a separate setting. You need to use some damper either in game or on the base.
I use Maurice's settings and none from the game. But MAGIA works well today!!!. I love v434 but I do notice that every time I turn on the base it seems to go differently depending on the day. Thank you very much for your answer. Greetings
glad it helped. I still hope the NFR issue gets fixed quickly...
@Marcel Pfister any update on this issue? :-)
it did not help me, i run nfr off for f1 but if you have any other suggestions ill try them i just get back on track asap lol.
I have a problem that when I am about to update CSL DD, a pop-up window does not respond after clicking OK
I haven't received my steering wheel, pedals, so I only have the wheelbase
Hi,
CSL Elite 1.1
V3 pedals
Formula V2 Steering wheel

You are just stuck in the new Standard Tuning Menu.
Open the Tuning Menu and press the Tuning Menu Button for 3 seconds to switch into Advanced Tuning Menu to get all rhe settings back.
Many thanks, got that working :)

Is there any response to the issue we are all having where the wheel goes heavy or continues to turn right after pause??
There are so many reports but it seems like the issue is being ignored.
434 is an official driver so some support on this would be appreciated by us all!
