I think they do intend on a stand alone wheel and as for what you described as a package your take on it is a good chance different then the next guy to come along.

Thomas said they will make X1 products for all budgets. Be patient. IMO the Fanatec ClubSport package is worth at least 4x the TX. So I'm fine with the cost. But everyone has their own budget and likes/dislikes. So if you like the TX that's all that matters.

You get what you pay for, some of us don't want plastic crap wheels like TM make. Something for people that want higher end is better, like you pointed out there is already cheap entry level crap available. You also couldn't be more wrong as the V2 is constantly on back order so nobody is "scared off"
Looks like SMS purposely fudged AMD performance, I shouldn't get the same performance as a R290x with a 7870. Doubt any of that DLC will sell to AMD GPU users unless they un-fudge it. Either they're crappy devs or they did it on purpose, take your pick . Wonder how much nvidia paid them to do it?

The Bleed adjust is the Measurement or % of Torque that will be Bled Off as a Result of Changes to Enviroment Hard Left into Soft Right or Loss of Grip!!! That Bleed Off is what Gives you the Road Feel or Feeling of Weight Transfer!!! Try it on the Cleo and BMW with Stock Car tune!!! All your Car Tunes will Need to be Re-adjusted But you Will Run Better Laps Due to Better Road Feel. ... Without the Higher Bleed Settings the Wheel Feels Heavy and Lazy Because it is Absolute Torque All the Time.
I Chose to Test in the Cleo because its Front wheel Drive and the Tail end Loves to Step out due to Cold tires but I Could Clearly Feel what the Cleo was Doing Every Loss of Grip and i was able to Quickly Counter Steer to Correct My driving Line when i Lost Grip!!! I was able to Really Push the Car!!!
The FFB Tuning PDF is Not Accurate when it Describes How some of the Settings Work!!!
I will Make a List and Submit it to SMS and ask that they Better Define these Settings. if the FFB PDF was Accurate and Clear about what the Settings Really Do they Could Cut the FFB Complaints Down a Great Deal!!!
These settings Should work for XBox + or - on the Mains Depending on what wheel you use... The Mains May Have to Be Reduced to avoid FFB Clipping on Some wheels. They Should work on the CSR and PWTS wheels also but the Feel will benDiff because My CSR E Does Not Deliver Subtle Road FFB like My V2
You should never turn the FFB on the wheel itself below 100, you do it on the in game FFB strength setting. If you turn it down on the wheel itself you will lose some lesser effects.
I Dunno about that... on Console I Run the Games at 100% Because i want the Game to put out 100% FFB effects... The wheel is only the amplifier it will put out what ever is sent to it at what ever Magnification you like up to its Max output.... Seems that you Risk Loosing More FFB Effects Cutting it Down at the Source/Game Settings. So Console for Me is 100% FFB out put at Source/Game settings and Set the wheel to where FFB Feels Comfortable to me. PCars Maybe the First Console Game that Has FFB Strong Enough to Cause FFB Clipping... But I Tweeked the Settings Behind the Masters that FFB Clipping is Not a Issue.
Only on PC do i Turn the FFB Down at the Source/Game Settings Because OC FFB has always been Much Stronger.

Was aber bereits der ein oder andere Vorbesteller auf Nachfrage beim Kundensupport als Antwort bzgl. des Versandtermins erhalten hat ist, dass der Versand wohl Ende Mai erfolgt. Der 28.05 ist wohl somit recht realistisch. Ich habe gerade mal auf meinen letzten Fanatec Boxen nachgesehen, und ich habe überall einen UPS Aufkleber mit UPS Saver gefunden. Mit Glück erhalten die deutschen Besteller ihr Wheel somit am Freitag.
Weiter solltest Du eine E-Mail erhalten sobald der Versand erfolgt ist.

I run 100% on PC as well, I read an article on FFB where it showed how turning down FFB on the wheel eliminated some of the smaller details. It explained why a strong wheel is better because the stronger the wheel the more capable it was of delivering meaningful lighter details as well. It said that any lowering of FFB strength should be done only using the in game option in order to avoid this detail loss.

Also the Masters in the car Tuning will have to be set Per Car!!! on the cleo i like it at 100% but on the BMW i like it at 50 or 60% There Is a Huge difference in FFB between the Clio and BMW if the Masters are set the same!!!! I'm using the Jack Spade mixed settings and I like them , but the Formula Rookie steering is so light now, it was quite heavy with the default PC FFB settings, but now I can catch slides without needing herculean strength on the V2. I really need the Hub because using the Formula rim with cars like the classic ford escort can be very awkward feeling for catching slides, a round wheel would feel much more natural. Should ship out tomorrow !
Jason Shaffer the Masters for the Car Can Be adjusted on a Per Car Basis if its Too Light then Go Up and if you want it Lighter then Decrease the Masters.... i Only Adjust the Masters to Stiffen or Lighten up the wheel on a Per Car Basis Now that the FFB Feels right!!! This Feels Good enough until they Release a FFB update.
When i Run the Clio with my settings i set the Masters for that car to 100 but when i Run the BMW i set the Masters to 50 or 60 Feels Much More Enjoyable Now!!! its per car and Per Track so Every Track i Run i just Save it i will get all thenCars and Tracks Done 1 Day...LOL

ich für meinen Teil habe schon mal die Pedale eingestellt. Das Update der Base würde ich in Verbindung mit dem Lenkrad durchführen. Sicher wird die Firmware nicht im Lenkrad "gespeichert" aber es ist für mich momentan die sicherste Vorgehensweise. Also am Besten noch etwas abwarten und dann, wenn der HUB eingetroffen ist, kurz die Firmware updaten.
ist denn die neue Firmware überhaupt schon online? Ich kann aktuelle nur die alte finden.
Ich hoffe ja starkt dass der Xbox Hub heute noch verschickt wird, glaube es aber ehrlich gesagt nicht wirklich. Es ist zu ruhig und auf Emails wird auch nicht geantwortet.

First update your controller by going to the xbox settings by pressing start on home screen, controller, update (must be plugged in)
press start in p cars and go to options, controls
SET MODE 3 FIRST! —- this is at the bottom of the options
Steering Deadzone - 20%
Steering Sensitivity - 5%
Throttle Deadzone - 0%
Throttle Sensitivity - 10%
Braking Deadzone - 0%
Braking Sensitivity - 10%
Clutch Deadzone - 5% cx
Clutch Sensitivity - 45%
Speed Sensitivity - 75%
Controller Filtering Sensitivity - 25%
Mode = 3
Advanced options = All set to ON ****EXCEPT FOR OPPOSITE LOCK HELP, Turn that off!
******Next go to game play options and make sure all braking steering assists are off etc.
