You saw my answer? Do you use BLI? For Steering wheel vibrations BLI has to be set to OFF. Otherwise it's intended that the whole steering wheel vibrations just dont work as you cant not use BLI and SHO together.
HELLO WITH THE NEW UPDATE NOW IT RUNS PERFECTLY.. BUT I HAVE A QUESTION WHY IS THERE SO MUCH DELAY WITH THE LEDS OF THE GAME AND THE STEERING WHEEL WHILE YOU ACCELERATE?
When you set the LEDs correct to match the in game LEDs there is no delay, they light up at the exact RPM (or percentage) value you have set the LED to.
I am sorry but I dont understand, might be due to a language barrier.
Can you elaborate a bit more what is wrong?
Best would be to show with Screenshots or even a video to explain your issue. Its definitely a setting thing, there is no delay if the LEDs are set-up properly.
I'm using a DD1 base and have been trying the "Maurice" presets... I really like! Big thanks...
Safety question: I've cranked the FF strength up to ~75% to compensate for the DD1 <=> DD2 torque difference, as instructed. With the Cadillac V-Series preset and all the other settings as imported, I'm getting a wicked oscillation if the wheel is not grasped firmly. What is the correct way to dial this out without changing the intended feel of the preset? Or, what might I have set wrong that would be causing this?
@maurice Cheers! Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing with the community.
For anyone still having issues with F1 23 (I had the all red rev lights issue), go to the in-game Telemetry settings and make sure you have UDP Broadcast mode set to OFF. I had it on to send data to an Android tablet app (which of course doesn't work now that I changed the setting) but as soon as I turned UDP Broadcast to off I got the correctly coloured REV and Flag LEDs lighting up.
The UDP Broadcast indeed has to be set to OFF for FanaLab to work, like in previous years.
All red RevLEDs is btw a game issue of the native game LED support which came with Patch 1.7 last Monday, however you wouldn't even get that "issue" when you click the "Enable Fanalab support" button as that would completely disable this native LED setting.
Unfortunately, clicking the "Enable Telemetry" button didn't work correctly for me. I tried several times, restarting the game, changing other telemetry settings (which did change back to the correct option), restarting the PC, and it always remained in the On mode unless I changed in manually.
As with every game you need to click the two green buttons in the game profile Tab in Fanalab to Enable Telemetry and Enable Fanalab support to disable native game support so they dont interfere.
Also make sure UDP Port is set to 20888 and UDP Broadcast is set to OFF.
CSL DD with P1 V2 steering wheel, windows 10. Revstripes do not work when Fanalab 1.99.02 is active. When I run the test from the Fanatec software I only get timid flashes, like a broken neon. When Fanalab is turned off, the test works normally.
However the rollback to 1.69.7 only reverted the games native revstripe, the custom revstripe from Fanalab remains off. Even reverting to the 4.50 driver didn't fix it.
Coming from Fanalab 1.69.7 and Driver 4.50 where everything worked, I'm pretty sure, because revstripe is the only reason I use Fanalab, and as soon as I installed 1.99.02 I immediately noticed that revstripe was turned off.
idk if this the right post to post then in but ive been having a issues with my ffb in iracing and other games the ffb will jerk like im going over a bump randomly when im not and then lose all ffb and the wheel gets really tight and stiff for no reason does anyone know why it does that? dd2 btw
No, that would be the wrong thread for something Like that. If at all then it would be a Firmware issue to post in the driver thread as this is totally unrelated to FanaLab. But Sounds More Like a Hardware issue…
However, when using FanaLab it is expected that you also use the LED feature of FanaLab instead of the native LED support from the game and the LEDs from FanaLab are working fine, so as a workaround until the next version gets released, just use the FanaLab LEDs instead of the native game LEDs :)
Yes, that's exactly what I always do, if I activate Fanalab I deactivate the native LEDs. I probably didn't manage to explain well. Thanks.
Only revstripes don't work.
The 7-segment numeric LEDs work well, both of the Custom and native profiles. If I modify the Fanalab profile of the numerical LEDs, the displayed information also changes, so the telemetry data flow seems correct.
Then you did not properly disabled the native support.
As I said, the FanaLab LEDs are working fine on the RevStripe, it is only the native LED support from the game which is not working when FanaLab is running (which will be fixed with hte next version).
So when the RevStripe is not working for you, then this automatically means you are not using FanaLab LEDs but native LEDs because the FanaLab LEDs for the RevStripe would work properly.
Anyway, as said, will be fixed soon. Thx for the report!

Can't get the Settings to transfer over to my Fanatec Formula V2.5 for some odd reason

Which settings?!
Thanks

is the driver version 451 absolutely necessary for the version of Fanalab to work?
Yes, otherwise FanaLab wont even start.
Does this ITM work for F1 23? If it does how to i set it right because when i run the game on my DD led display show me still only 0 at every data
That means you did not enabled FanaLab support.

OK. I had that broadcast ON. Now its working thank you.

It must have been something like that, all working fine now, thanks.
