Yes, I understand. But what I say is 457 was perfect on my side. I'm not comfortable to use older driver and change also the firmware. For me the 457 + firmware from it, worked flawless and I want to keep that software setup if possible. To do this I need the 457 installer which is not available anymore on the forum. The firmware from 457 is still flashed on my CS DD+ and wheel.
Maurice Böschen been tell kind off sometime now hints here and there what is happening and what may come next. if you come only here to spam, you may missed those information's
for example latest news is that they are cooking the new soft or something like this, but release date is unknown
to you know, it would take only some minutes for write a script what automatically answers back same message over and over. you just wasting your time atm
Just to correct what you’re assuming has happened. I have been in contact with Fanatec all through this process. They have always been committed to finding and solving the issues we’ve been experiencing. They have done this in spite of the fact they have had their head on the chopping block for the last few months. Imagine if you will, the information that is public knowledge is only a small part of what these guys know of the situation Fanatec was in. Yet they have been committed to solving the issues even if it was the last thing they achieved working for Fanatec. The whole Fanatec team will have been turning up for work every morning not know if they have a job when they get there. Give them a little respect for the fact they have stood by the brand and the customers in continuing to find the solutions. Otherwise a lot of us may just have ended up with very expensive paper weights.
Stop with the assertions that you know what is happening inside Fanatec and people may just leave you alone. You have no idea the situation they have been in yet we get a fix for the disconnection issue. They are working and your constant pessimism doesn’t help anyone.
I’ve said this before, you give people some good advise sometimes. Stick to that. When you do people will back off.
I have not been experiencing any significant disconnects, other than a small few and they were literally a fraction of a second. I have however noticed some inconsistent FFB (at times it feels fine for long play sessions and at other times there is a noticeable - but small - degradation of FFB strength).
I suspect this is all ‘part and parcel’ of the current FW. Using a powered USB hub between the base and my PC seems to have helped to some degree, though that might just be a coincidence, I cannot prove either way as to the benefit or lack thereof.
I am of the belief however, that Fanatec needs to be given some slack on this. People have been a little harsh at times (understandable but inexcusable in the manner of which some have expressed feedback in being rude and/or inflammatory). They (Fanatec), have been obviously working very hard to identify, and fix the issues. Due to the nature of the problems and wide array of differing severities being reported by so many users, the process was never going to be an overnight fix. The fact that it has taken this long, is a good thing IMO, and ensures that they have addressed multiple issues or potential causes and discovered the root causes.
I believe we’ll see something soon in terms of a new and fully functional FW (fingers crossed).
This thread has become a little toxic at times (not naming names), but I think it’s important that we all recognize everyone is on the same page (despite the noise)…so let’s just hang in there a while longer and let Fanatec do their thing. 😊
They are in fact working hard, and yes, it is also time consuming (that has never been up for debate). The point I am trying to make is that they are as invested in fixing the issues, as much as we are invested in having them fixed. Debugging software and trying to discern whether it relates to a hardware issue (chip-to-chip variation), is a very complicated process. Often fixing one thing can spawn into other issues...so a careful and measured approach (and lots of testing), is required to ensure that the steps that being taken result in forward-progress instead of regressing matters even further.
The banter and bickering, along with half-baked replies to everyone who makes a post doesn't do anything but clutter the Forum with senseless commentary...which certainly doesn't benefit the community (let alone the people trying to fix the issue, i.e. - Fanatec).
I know you are trying to help Allan...but clearly your continued posts have ruffled some feathers. Just take a breather is all I am saying...things will be ironed out soon - so let's all chill and let things take their natural course :)
When I play The Crew Motorfest, sometimes when I turn the wheel and let go, it goes back to the left instead of centering, then returns to the center a few seconds later. When I'm driving straight, sometimes the wheel applies force to the right or left for no reason, and it goes back to normal a few seconds later.
I have the same problem with the Need for Speed games, but no issues with my other games: Dirt 5, Assetto, Forza Horizon, Grid

you can answer self as well for them. but please answer more, than just one word.
in fact i do want sometimes say little more. but then sometimes its better i not say it out and keep that info for myself
is-int you who tell at january 26 that you not buy nothing from them?
and now you come here to attack me
good thing is they to finally figure out that there is something wrong with 457 drivers, so they to removed the download links
What does that have to do with my comment agreeing with the post? Now 2 more useless posts from you and probably another in response to this.
Likely another 3 or 4.
@admin, can you just mute that guy?
Don't worry fanatec fixes all the issues what you face with your current 457 drivers,
they already tell that they started make new ones.
if you ask why it take so long, We all know already that Endor AG go to bankrupt and Corsair finally take over
but between that we had pause because Endor AG not had money for pay the developers

yes but its not only you.
Fanatec have also in same drivers other products as well like CSL DD / DD1 / DD2 and so on
Honestly, I was using the penultimate one, and I no longer had any disconnection problems, but I also tried the later 2.2.3.6 ......
1.1.0.3 I already had it installed, I'll tell you my impressions in the next few days
You are just injecting unwanted noise into this forum.
Nobody wants to see or hear from you.
You're not an employee of Fanatec and have no knowledge of anything happening by Fanatec to improve the driver or solve issues.

hi okay,
I've already installed the firmware!
I play on the PC and I also have connection interruptions.
PC Driver 455 or 457, it doesn't matter. Sometimes 3-4 times an hour, and sometimes not for 2 days.

hard, is wrong word, but time consuming yes, all kind analyzing/debugging/ deeper testing with oscilloscopes and so on
Semantics.

well, one is sure , they to take 457 driver download links away. and working at new ones
also it's already start getting confusing because some people not have issues with this old 457
i not know what game you play but they also already talked that some game may have a feature what lowers FFB
I am playing ACC.
I have not seen any commentary about specific games and a ‘feature’ that lowers FFB.
Perhaps your choice of words is incorrect, but I am really not understanding what you are saying, sorry 🤷♂️
He confuses people more than it helps anyone
@admins, please act!
and which firmware is better now?
CS_DD+_PS5_Disconnection_Fix_Test_Firmware_2_2_3_6.eff
or
CS_DD(+)_2_2_3_7_PS5_disconnection_CSLP_deadzone.eff
I don't have any pedals from Fanatec
The newer 2.2.3.7 one.
When I play The Crew Motorfest, sometimes when I turn the wheel and let go, it goes back to the left instead of centering, then returns to the center a few seconds later. When I'm driving straight, sometimes the wheel applies force to the right or left for no reason, and it goes back to normal a few seconds later.

they tell that in ACC have indeed this feature, what lowers FFB.
if i remember correctly the comment, it's something todo with tire wear.
i can't find atm it where it was exactly typed, but someone complained about that already before, and they answer that
