Fixed: Crash when starting FanaLab, caused by profiles from older FanaLab versions.
Updated: Some German hints which had spelling errors.
Updated: Recommended settings links for F1 2021 and F1 2020
Added: Links to compatible driver and FanaLab forum in the .zip instead of the readme.txt.
Known Issue:
Older profiles get converted and loaded with RPM instead of % enabled for the LED thresholds. -> Toggle back to % and save again, then it works like expected.
Thank you very much Marcel. I checked the links and turns out there´s a service related with Asus software ( I have an Asus Motherborad) that causes this issue. I disabled the service and so far Fanatec control panel and Fanalab are running fine.
hope you can help me. I am playing F1 2021, my problem is, as soon as i use Fanalab with F1 2021 it messes up the REV lights on Wheel an Base. It wont use the settings i chose in fanalab, it just uses the normal default setup that comes with F1 2021, but as soon as Fanalab is on, the LEDs flash like crazy. It still works from left to right according to the RPM, but they just flash all the time. Hope i can explain it that someone understands, if not i will try to take a video.
I got a CSL Elite 1.1 Base, Formula V2.5 Wheel and CSP V3.
Updated from FanaLab 1.57.3 to FanaLab 1.57.4. I have one problem with it and am looking for a way to solve it. It used the telemetry information of F1 2020 and F1 2021 in synchronization in 57.3.
As a result, there was no problem in communication with FanaLab and there was no problem in operation. However, when I switched to 1.57.4 this time, there was no change in the telemetry information and F1 2020 and 2021 should be on the same level, but only during online battles in F1 2021, unnecessary wheelbase vibrations do not stop working continuously. Hmm. There is no vibration other than online competition.
Also, in F1 2020, there are no runaway vibrations or other problems even in online battles.
Is there any way to solve it???

Steering Club Sport Steering Wheel F1 PS compatible
Turns out that was my mistake, i kept the Fanatec LED option in Game on ON. Now it works, although one little question, I can't seem to figure out how to deactivate the LEDs of my wheelbase.
I wished Fanalab would be a bit more "noob friendly" :S but else it's a cool thing. :)
OK thanks for the answer. Although weirdly when I played F1 2020, they were turned off. But I didn't use Fanalab back then, so maybe that's the reason.
In the notes on page 1 it states that this version of Fanalab 1.57.4 works with Driver 410 but can anyone confirm if it also works with the latest Driver 411?
is there a way to create and save a profile from scratch and associate it with a game not in the list?
i play ATS, ETS2, Farming Simulator, and some Bus sims, along with the standard racing sims, and I'd like to be able to input settings, select the appropriate .exe, and then save.
it's very inconvenient to have to recreate settings every time i switch games or reboot my rig.
Hello everybody. There is no longer an ITM menu in Fanalab when the DD2 podium is in CSW 2.5 compatibility mode, regardless of the steering wheel. Is this normal ?
After updating all my firmware as well as drivers, the new Fanalab was working properly and reading my dd2 wheel base. I don't know if I'm imagining things, but the force feedback seems to be more responsive and fluid on WRC9 when the car goes airborne and then touches down again. One strange thing that happened after the update though, is my wheel goes crazy during the replays sometimes, like its trying to replicate what is happening on the replay. It never did that before the updates. I don't know if this happens on other games as I've only played this one so far since the update. Also, I don't know if this is normal but when my V3 pedals are plugged into the pc instead of the wheel base, my games do not recognize my keyboard, so I usually only plug it in via USB when I am updating.
The new UI is great on the actual Fanatec control panel where you do your updates. Hats off. It looks way less windows 98-ish now and closer to something I think a company of this caliber should shoot for. Good job guys.
It's planned to add own games to the list at some point. So far we didn't come to that point yet but I agree that its a needed feature.
Something which might be a workaround is to set an application (.exe) manually in the game list. Take a game you don't own from the list and bind it to the .exe of Truck Simulator. Then FanaLab should recognize it getting launched and load the setup you've saved for it.
Thanks for the feedback, regarding that the base reacts to things in the replay I don't know how it should change through a firmware update because the base just does whatever FFB commands the game sends and the base has no idea if the game does this during driving or replay.
Guys, i am kindly asking you again if you have any idea why my fanalab menu looks like this whenever i hover the mouse over the settings ... Its a nightmare.
Is there any chance of a single location to find the latest version of the driver, fanalab, and the fanalab game profiles? I am having a hard time tracking everything down.
Just took the pill and updated the DD2 to the latest software and firmware and installed the new version of Fanalab and took the profiles from Maurice as a start for my own profiles… but Maurice, are you a pro arm wrestler or what? 😂 (or maybe I’m just a sissy 🤔)

Triples... Try with and without surround.
For the matter I also have a fourth monitor but plugged into Intel GC
I have sim hub
Seems like its mainly happening on systems with very high pixel count, either 4k or 1440p tripple.
It might also be a general Nvidia driver issue causing the UI flickering:

You made sure you disabled the Fanatec LED setting in the game?

It's not possible to disable the LEDs on the Base alone.

Hi,Maurice
I must say that with these setups in ACC
the shock phenomena are almost entirely
disappeared, I just feel
and the driving feeling has grown
thanks as always for the work you do TOP

Yes, confirm.
Forgot to update the link, done now.

Just create them, save them to another game and manually load when you want to play something not on the list...

OS: Windows 10 pro x64
Driver updated from 402 to 411
Fanalab updated from 1.54.4 to 1.57.4.

Thanks for the report, we'll check that and fix it.
