I tried the DD1 to my surprise it works well on gt7 so the problem is not gt7 but the DD pro, on DD1 finally if the car takes a curb as soon as it touches the ground it has a great grip on DD pro it slips. pity that the DD1 had never been updated since it was bought 2 years ago, and now it made me update the base the crown but it does not update the motor with fw 38 to load and it no longer works as you can fix or if you have a link with solution Thanks
When qualifying for Daily Races in GT7, where I'm having to abort laps and restart, around every 10th time, the steering wheel feels a lot heavier as though the FFB has been turned up which continues until I quit out of the lap and restart, and then the FFB goes back to normal - does anyone else experience this?
Yes, I can confirm the problem as well. it happens to me sporadically. Mostly when you abort a qualifying lap (daily races) and then start a new one. but seems to be exclusively a gt7 problem. This hasn't happened to me in other games.
What is the correct MPS setting in the Tuning menu (Encoder / Pulse / Constant / Auto) for the rotary switches to work properly in GT7? I have a Podium F1 with the endurance button module / porsche rim. Many thanks! Aron
I don't know how it works between Fanatec and PD but FFB is really bad, lacks details and it feels like a lot of constant force which disappears during cornering. I am new to Fanatec world(with Podium DD) and to be honest, the GranTurismo with T300RS worked better in terms of details, of course fluidity, strength are on totally different levels but with T300 FFB was more lively.
I am just curious where it can be reported by customers to also push PD to take a look at this problem... Or maybe on both sides...
It seems that for now increasing strength on the wheel and limiting max torque in game(testing 2-3) make it somehow playable, also increasing sensitivity to 4 helped a little bit.
Re contacting PD to try and push this - you are not alone. Seems there is no way. Twitter is the only avenue I've found, with multiple, polite messages, none responded to.
I'm using Gran Turismo DD Pro with Boost Kit and I've found a way to significantly optimise the experience, I think. To be brief, the interpolation seems to swallow up quite a few effects even at the lowest setting. Hence my recommendation to set INT to 0.
This is not magic, and of course nothing still arrives where PD has not set a signal on the curbs, but in my opinion the setting helps the game considerably and I have much more fun.
I tested and I have experienced no difference (in this setup, with INT = 0). Just more strength with higer value and I liked it. But thanks for the hint, I will keep testing.
Hi guys, I got myself a DD Pro with Boost Kit, so 8NM and since I am completely new to Wheels I am still trying to set up everything correctly.
I tried a few settings yet but with all I am running into the same issue.
I don’t get any vibration or more corner force when I drive on the curbs intentionally. First I thought it might be clipping, but even with low FF I don’t get any more corner details when I touch the curb. Only when I go much further and nearly outside the track vibration kicks in.
So I am wondering if the reason for this is just the FF in GT7 or is this a uncommon thing?! Unfortunately I cannot compare with other games since I only own GT7 yet.
To clarify my issue again…I get the same feeling and force when I corner normally and don’t receive any other Force or vibrations when I touch a curb slightly. Only the ingame sound suggests that I am on a curb, wich is very disappointing.
Even Grid Legends is more fun. Or Dirt, WRC, F1 22/23. GT7 unfortunately has the worst FFB of all the games I tested.

all the Tracks are 90% lifeless. Simply dead. Curves feel like a rubber band. Curbs are not present. The rear of the vehicle is also not felt. What is PD doing???
In defense of PD, they updated the settings in 1.15 and people complained loudly. So they reverted back to FFB to the point its just force 100% of the time.
When you have a social media presence that is vocal a company tends to respond for good or bad. Sadly that presence was pretty ignorant how FFB is supposed to work. I remember reading one comment that the player, “Wants to work for the lap times.” Meaning he/she is just using all muscle.

In your opinion at the moment (GT7 1.23) is it better to leave the DD Pro on Set Auto or can something be improved with a custom Setting?
I honestly don't feel like selling everything for one other steering wheel…
My setting after the latest update (GT DD Pro 8NM):

Big thanks to GT Planet forum user: ANDRITSOULAS
But I can recommend everyone to start playing ACC - completely different level.
Is it ok also for 5 NM?
Why FF on 85¿
I hope so.
Because it suits me better than FF 100 and In Game Torque 4

I'm using the Podium F1 with GT3 rim and PBME....
I eperienced that in single player at early days of GT7 on DD Pro. Never figured out is it base or game related 🤷🏻♂️
Try with reinstalling the drivers, maybe it will help

Unfortunately they did not implemented the MPS.
They planned to do so, but ... they didnt.
Hopefully on their next update then?

Works best for GT2/GT3 class.
You should not use in game Max Torque of 10. Everything above 6 results in Clipping.
I tested and I have experienced no difference (in this setup, with INT = 0). Just more strength with higer value and I liked it. But thanks for the hint, I will keep testing.
I find on the DD1 the opposite, I run in game turned down to 4 and a higher FFB setting on the wheelbase gives the best results...
I want to confirm this issue too. Hopefully Fanatec can take note. Happened to me three times today.
How could Fanatec fix a game issue?
Hi, in Gt7 for Ps5 what should I put on BRF (Brk.For.)? 50 automatically appears. Thanks
Depends on how mich force you personally like to apply on your Brake pedal to reach 100% input.

That's the normal not so good FFB of this game. No curb FFB.
Nothing you can do. PD needs to fix their game FFB but they seem to have no Intention to do so.
Have a podium f1 and csl v3 pedals and the centre paddles for gear changing dont work on the ps4 and the pedals aren't either.
All updated, tried different settings no joy.
HELP
The FFB continues to be very poor.

They sorted but in a bad way because I highly doubt FOR on 120 and Ingame Toruque on 10 (and still have a weak FB) is the right way of "sorting" 🤷🏻♂️
Most important, only reason why they do that is not complaing how bad FF was, but only because some cars have insane reaction on a very high speed
