There will be new profiles for the 3 new iRacing cars, sure. However, only when a new FanaLab version is released because, even though the profiles are already done and ready, they are not compatible with the current public FanaLab version because a LOT has changed in the new upcoming FanaLab version which wont allow newly created profiles to be backwards compatible with older versions.
Any idea what profiles would be "close enough" in the meantime? I've been using LPM2 for the LMP3 which feels ok, but the Other cars i'm struggling to get something that feels good.
Not to speak for him but you will notice a trend with his profiles and I found that the new cars are no different, i.e. FEI=8, INT=6, FOR=100, NDP=~15, FFB= ~15NM (depending on your base of course). With those basic settings you can then tweak your Fanatec base strength and ingame FFB to your desired strength level. You really know you have nailed it, if you have little to no clipping, no harsh bangs, oscillations, etc.
It seems the number of cars in iRacing that have variable rpm led shift lights is growing (i.e. the new Cadillac GTP). Does anyone know if this will be supported (or is even supportable) in Fanalab?
Sorry if I'm being thick here, but does that mean all profiles being used for the current version of Fanalab will still be compatible with the new version you mention?
For some reason the Formula USA 2023 (Indycar IR-18 Road) profile is not autoloading. Also when manually loading the profile my wheels LED's don't seem to match in car. Guessing this is user error on my part?
Ciao a tutti, yesterday a received the closed beta for RENNSPORT, however i cant setup my wheel properly. Someone has the wheel setup + in game settings working good?
When the new FanaLab update gets released, which is actually not out for a bit...😅 There was no new version for several months now and the current version you are talking about is the old one which is incompatible with my new profiles.
Hello there - iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit's tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime!
The moment some of you have been waiting for has finally come!
For today's major FanaLab V1.99.02 update with a lot of great new features (RPM per gear, new RGB colors, FlagLED flashing) I have a new profile pack ready where these changes are all already implemented and therefore ready-2-race!
In total over 150 profiles got adapted to include one of the 3 major changes.
So every profile of a car, which uses the RPM per gear "feature", has the correct RPM values included for every gear so the LEDs and the Shift Point Brackets are (finally) perfectly in sync with the in-game LEDs for every gear. Every profile of a car, which uses one of the new colors (in particular Light-Orange, Dark-Orange, Light-Blue and Blue-Violet), has this new color implemented. And every profile of a car, where in the in-game car dashboard the Pit Limiter lights are flashing / blinking, has this new flash option implemented with the correct Interval so the FlagLEDs on your wheel flash / blink in sync with the in-game LEDs!
I have also included new profiles for F1 23, the newly released McLaren 720S GT3 Evo car in ACC and the newly released iRacing cars (Cadillac V-Series.R GTP, Ligier JS P320, Porsche 911 GT3 R (992)).
Please note: due to a big overhaul of different backend parts of the FanaLab code to make it more futureproof, the way settings are saved in the profile has changed significantly with this overhaul. This means that my profiles are not backwards compatible with any older FanaLab version but only work with FanaLab V1.99.X and newer versions! As the minimum driver required to run FanaLab 1.99.X was changed to driver 451 this also means that you will need to use driver 451 or newer in order to get my profiles running with this new FanaLab version!
As always: The profiles are made with a Podium DD2 and the FFB settings are designed to be used only with a Podium DD2 or, with some calculation, with a Podium DD1. The FFB settings are not designed to be used with any other Base as I cant guarantee a good FFB feeling for those bases. Of course you can still use parts of the profile, in particular the LED settings, also with other bases just fine.
WOW! This is fantastic. I really like the new black Fanalab theme. Much easier to see, the red theme was a bit much. So the LED variable RPM per gear config is still a manual process. Somehow I was thinking that it would be "automatic" by getting the data from iRacing, but this way we can tune it ouselves. Very nice. Thanks Maurice.
On another note, do you or anyone else ever notice oscillation with certain profiles, specifically many of the downforce cars? I've run the GTPs and the LMP2 and I always get bad oscillations when running your exact settings. Not sure if I should just default to increasing the Natural Damper setting or what. I'm on a DD2 with Formula v2.5 for reference.
Question for those of us that use a DD1, and don't care about the LED updates for the profiles (VR user here). Since I already have gone through and updated all my profiles to use the 1.25x FFB for my DD1, I don't want to reimport all these profiles again. Were there any updates / changes to the FFB of each profile / sim, or am I good to just go ahead and import just the new profiles / for the latest cars I need?
Okay thanks. Do you remember if it was mainly for iRacing, or all sims? Was it a big difference in FFB from old to new on the changes? I may just reimport everything again..
Hi Maurice. All good? Can you clear a doubt: why aren't my steering wheel's LEDs perfectly synchronized with iRacing? I'm using the Mazda MX and have loaded your latest profile package. See how RPM laughs…

Will be supported very soon in an upcoming new FanaLab version, yes.
GREAT! Thanks.

Yes, they automatically get converted to be compatible with the new version.
This happened several times in the past already, all secretely in the background ;)
Hi Maurice,

I did not provided a profile for this car and there was no FanaLab update yet which could have included this new car for CDALP Auto loading.
Will be coming in a new version soon.
My apologies, just realized what that profile is for!
Hi Maurice,
do you have access to the Rennsport Beta and maybe a Profile that feels nice for it?
Im to stupid to set it up so it feels nice :D
Unfortunately no, I still dont have access to the Rennsport Beta even though I signed up just minutes after they opened their registration forms.
This whole Rennsport Beta thing is a big joke.
Ah sad!
Hope you get it soon! We need your amazing Setups in every Sim :)
The Multiplayer Servers are pretty empty so i think there will be another „Wave“ soon maybe.
SIMULATOR: RENNSPORT
HARDWARE: DD GT PRO 8Nm , CSL LOAD CELL PEDALS
Ciao a tutti, yesterday a received the closed beta for RENNSPORT, however i cant setup my wheel properly. Someone has the wheel setup + in game settings working good?
Grazie
Hey Maurice, when will your new profiles be available? The new FanaLab update has been out for a bit now
When the new FanaLab update gets released, which is actually not out for a bit...😅 There was no new version for several months now and the current version you are talking about is the old one which is incompatible with my new profiles.
Tell Fanatec to hurry up already lol. We need these updated profiles with the LED RPM fix and the Caddy profiles!
Maybe next week I have something for you........... ;)
I use CSL DD and usually what i do is set ffb strength to 100 for each car i use. (since your profiles are for a higher wheel base iirc)
is there a way to automitaze it or any bulk change for in all profiles?
Better a good version and a little bit late than a version with bugs😉
I usually do it like Denis Lesi in this Post:

Wow, this is epic news Maurice. Thanks for your continued efforts on this front.
Thanks Maurice!

There were changes made for some but not every profile regarding FFB.
I dont remember which profiles though.
