I don't speak for @motoman617 but I don't want to be locked into an ecosystem of expensive equipment that can only be maintained, repaired by the manufacturer, if I don't trust the manufacturer. A company that treats its users like this is not trustworthy to me, so I can understand if someone wishes to move to another company's products. I don't think it's about "showing them", you can't educate people, let alone corporations, to behave well. You decide whether they are worth your time and money. It's the time, too, that gets wasted. I dislike that.
Yeah. And the voucher will be available when the DD+ becomes available increasing the price to 1200€. So Just I will buy it at almost the same price as my previous order they made me to cancel.
V2 pedals ordered on 19th Nov. Not a pre-order item and currently still in stock. Yet nothing. No email to tell me what's happening. Just stuck on "Handover to Warehouse".
So when they say the available date of the DD+ changed from 12/12 to 12/27 and they aim to ship them by the end of the year, yet our orders still state "in-process" the last day of the year... you don't think there should be some sort of communication?
I’ve filed a credit card dispute since my orders are uncanceleable and have been in limbo for over 6 weeks with zero response to my 5 attempts at contact.
If I can’t trust you to do the most basic thing like ship what I paid you for, or respond within less than a month and a half to simple inquires, I certainly can’t trust you to support my hardware (should I ever actually receive it, that is) should something go wrong during its lifetime.
Just picked up the Tony Kanaan bundle for $800 from MicroCenter, and I’m highly impressed with it.
I won’t be going back to Fanatec. I realized that I’ve been purchasing Fanatec mostly out of habit over the last 15 years or so, but the sim hardware market is alot more competitive and broad than it used to be with plenty of other great options. It was worth dealing with Fanatec’s poor customer service and sometimes slow shipping back when your other options were either a Logitech G25 or spending thousands for super high-end gear, but this isn’t 2010 anymore. With the advent of companies such as Asatek, Moza, Simagic, etc there’s just no reason to put up with this crap in the mid market anymore.
@fanatec get your act together - or lots of other people are going to have the same realization that I just did. We don’t care about a shiny new HQ, hire some damn customer service and warehouse folks and take care of the basics that make your business run.
You can use different shifters and pedals how are you locked in. Are Moza and other companies not the same with wheel base and quick release being incompatable with other brands?
I can see your point with the time wasted but sometimes you just need to wait.
If I own a product from a company and it all works well then I have a problem with another product getting delivered from the same company I doubt I’d sell all my products that I’m happy with.

I order it the 9 November i still not have any news so it s now 2 month soon and some articles where in stock when i made my order of the dd + now that it is available am afraid that the qr and orther things i order are not more available .so my order will be coming if am lucky not before february ????
I ordered the ClubSport DD+ on December 1 and still have not heard anything back about my item, it still say’s availability date December 27th….. I need an update on item before I just cancel my 1000+ purchase. Order #1862738
Welcome to the team. I ordered mine 10/21 and it was supposed to be available 12/12. I'm praying that they will do something tomorrow, otherwise we will have to wait until mid-late January.
Hey Fanatec, seen this absolute horror show of order processing and customer service, how about you postpone your inventory process and instead focus on shipping as many orders as possible? That way you also won't have to inventory items that are soon to be shipped anyway... Also, an update on the CS DD/DD+ orders for EU, US etc seems to be overdue. When are the shipments arriving? Air cargo should be much easier to track, handle etc. Where's our stuff??

i not sure what you expect? they tell issues here and there, like transport stuff and other delays. are they need repeat that over and over again?

I sent a final email saying that if we cannot find an agreement I will do the procedure that was proposed to me and that is before a court
if they put the dab+ at 1200 people will not buy it because it is the most expensive 12nm on the simracing market

The DD+ is not 12nm, it's 15 and it's holding torque. Also, it's the only one with PS compatbility, so people who want that have no other option.
Love this Fanatec, will be buying from another competitor. Shame I actually got the V3s
