Thanks for reply.
I used the ps4 mode (blue light), but I tried almost everything, compatibility mode, pc mode, start the wheel before launching the game, after etc... Still not working.
Regarding rev lights for Dirt, they are working nor on the base, nor on the wheel, but in pcars it is working well (compatibility mode also).
Hi Pierrick, try to re-flash the firmware. The only two things actually not supported on Assetto Corsa (PS4) are gas pedal rumble motor (Brake rumble motor works fine) and configuration of ABS and TC on the wheel.
Thanks for reply.

mhm, indeed very odd.
normal behaviour should be to turn on the ps4. Then start the CSL E RW PS4 in PS4 (blue) mode, press the PS Button to assign it as a controller to your account and then starting AC and then the wheel should work fine...
Correct.
PS4 menu works well with the blue light, with all games. Pcars works in purple mode, even dirt rally works in purple and surprisingly also in blue mode, but the ffb is really different, even with same parameters.
All the buttons work also on the fanatec software on computer, and the latest firmware are in the wheel and pedals.
Unfortunately AC is not working on my computer so I can't check if the problem is only on ps4...
As a last solution, I tried to exchange the formula wheel with the standard wheel, but again and again not working.
What is very disturbing is that it worked the first time on AC, but it stopped after using another game... No update by the meantime.
I contacted fanatec, the only advice is to uninstall and reinstall assetto.
I tried as a last hope but nothing...
Does anyone here have the wheel and assetto on ps4? Is everything fine on your side? And what if you switch to pcars, then AC?
I am a bit desperate to not be able to use my brand new (and expensive...) wheel

I have the wheel and had no problems so far. Project cars works on compatibility mode and Assetto Corsa works great on ps4 mode. Your problem seems very weird.
Don't get me wrong but isn't it simple? You mentioned that it worked once with Assetto Corsa - but just once. So how about replacing the CSL Base. That's what I would ask Fanatec for. In worst case you have to pay the entire shipping costs but just if it won't work with the new base as well.

I have the new wheel and both games and am same as Kimmo, all work fine for both games in the correct modes.
@ Kimmo : yes I am connected to internet, assetto corsa version 1.14, wheel updated with driver 289 beta and firmware 297.
I have the csp v3, only thing I changed between the first time it worked on assetto and didn't work the second time is changing parameters on the wheel, I mean abs, damper force etc...
But when the wheel base is flashed, all the setup are cleared to default right ?

Have you been able to talk to Fanatec support? I don't know what else to try. This is so very odd. Wish I more help, sorry.
No problem, thank you for your help
Yes I am in touch with support team. At the moment they have never seen this problem so they think it is not a problem from their side. No solution now but I am still exchanging with them.
Today is a month since original release. Still no news on availability in north America? Please tell Sony to hurry the heck up. Some of us want to race.
The CSL Elite Racing Wheel - officially licensed for PS4™ is available in our webshop from today and it is the first Fanatec® racing wheel which is officially licensed by Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe (SIEE) for PlayStation®4.
In the press release we will talk about the specs and features but most of you already know our products well so let me tell you some inside information.
The Wheel Base
The base looks obviously very similar to our CSL Elite Wheel base, but there are some significant differences.
As this is an officially licensed product we added some electronics provided by Sony and this ensures that the racing wheel is properly recognized by the console
The motor driver electronics are completely different to the CSL Elite Wheel Base and the same as on the ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5.
The motor itseld and the power supply is also identical to the CS WB V2.5 but because of the diffferent gear ratio, this wheel base has less torque but more speed.
The Steering Wheel
The steering wheel of the CSL Elite Racing Wheel also looks familiar but we improved it significantly on several points over the existing CSL P1 Steering Wheel.
It now comes with perforated genuine leather and suede fabric with blue stitching.
The weight is now reduced to 970g which makes it the lightest steering wheel in our range. This increases acceleration and consumes less torque.
The shifter paddles have been re-designed and now include Snaptron® snapdomes. They deliver a sensational positive and strong click feeling.
The buttons are now interchangeable so you can use easy symbols to remember the mapping of your most important racing game functions.
Please note that the steering wheel will not be sold separately for now.
Compatibility
By working really closely with SIEE on the development of the CSL Elite Racing Wheel we have been able to integrate features that we know racing fans on the PS4 will be able to appreciate, including:
Fully supported within the PS4 console menu.
Enables advanced functionality with select upcoming compatible games, including GT Sport.
The CSL E RW is backwards compatible to all games which were compatible to the CS WB V2 with the help of a compatibility mode. It will work fine in the game but not in the system menu of the console.
Assetto Corsa and Dirt 4 are the first fully compatible titels and many more will follow. This includes F1 2017, Project Cars II and of course GT Sport.
Availability
At the moment the CSL Elite Racing Wheel is only available in Europe and Australia but we are exploring the possibility of expanding the availability into further markets.
The orders will be shipped right away.
We will also have a special introduction bundle which will be attractive especially to new customers. For just 519,95 € you get a complete set with CSL Elite Pedals.

Tell me about it. I sold my CSW base v2 and Xbox Rim and Xbox as I wanted to go back to My ps4 for my racing. Sadly if we don't get news soon I going Crap Thrustmaster T300 as much as I hate too. Or be done with a Wheel setup.

I'm feeling the same way. But I'm not spending a dime on Thrustmaster crap. I will just quit all together first.
Be a little easier to take if we knew how long we had to wait. This any day stuff is brutal. Don't understand why its a big secret since its been released already.
Patience my friends. All good things come to those of us that wait. :!! \:D/ My patience ran out after I spent $600 on a CSW Base v2 only to have ps4 support removed. Im 46 years old got better things to do then play games but love racing when I got spare time which is short.

Been patiently waiting since licensing deal was confirmed in November. Checking web site and these forums several times a day everyday since.Lack of info is worse than the waiting. I mean, just tell us when its going to be available. How is that going to hurt anyone?

I'm sure fanatec doesn't. It's Sony who is making it difficult. Believe me I hold nothing against fanatec. If I thought it was on them I'd be out already. Fanatec is just trying to stay within the guidelines that sony set. if I didn't already have so much money wrapped up in PlayStation stuff I would have bought a computer and V2.5 months ago.
