I have questions about the correct settings of my ClubSport DD+ in ACC playing on PS5, I hope you can help me.
I started with the settings recommended on the DD1 Podium Racing Wheel F1 forum for ACC/Playstation with the FBB at 65% and the Purple LED (Compatibility), Game gain at 70.
I don't know if this is correct, or it would have to be the DD1 PC settings, I have also tried these PC ones with the game gain at 60, Purple LED and FBB at 65 and also at 75 / 80%.
And then I have tried Marcel's Fanalab settings for ClubSport+ and PC with game gain at 60 and 400hz.
These:
I feel the Fanalab configuration very strong in the turns, without clipping but it tires a lot in a few laps.
I guess it's because of the FFB at 100%. do you recommend to lower it? To what percentage would be correct? Or is it ok at 100%?
For PS5 I can use the Fanalab as it is or I would have to modify something?
The Blue LED (PS5) I notice it stronger but less information, at the moment I use the Purple because I feel it more real. Which one do you recommend?
Which of the three would be the right ones to have as a base and feel a more realistic experience, get the most out of the ClubSport DD+, have more immersion and the best to enjoy driving?
I hope I have explained myself well, English is not my mother tongue. For me it is very important to know the opinion of the Fanatec experts on this subject, especially Maurice Böschen, Marcel.... It will help me a lot and for sure other PS5 / ACC / ClubSport DD+ users.
I value very much my time in the Simulator and I want to feel the most real sensations possible when racing.
Great to hear. Any ETA - and I know it only came out yesterday, so please don't see this as me being cheeky or impatient. More so that I can't contain my excitement 😁
First there needs to be a FanaLab version which supports LMU, then I can start to work on profiles. Each car takes some hours of work, so it might take several days or weeks after the Lab release.
Great, thank you Maurice for all that you do. When the lab version is out I can begin setting some LED profiles at least. And I know the pain in getting them dialled in. Watching the engine revs and setting the number in fanalab etc. You add huge value to Fanalab, thank you again.
I use interpolation in the fanalab driver at 1. All other settings are turned down. In game, I have collision strength and curb pull strength set to 28%, this allows me to run higher FFB and actually feel the car. I have curb vibrations at 0 in game too. Coeficient and Saturation in game at 3%.
Here is a video I made yesterday and in it I have shared my FFB, in game at the start and the fanalab profile is on screen at the end. All time stamped:
Updated - did the 60 minute race at Bahrain and the yellow flag basically got triggered every 20 seconds - I think something in the game is too sensitive and detecting every car going 4 wheels off the track or something.
And since we have a big ass yellow flag indicator in the 499P that's blocking half the view, I feel it's redundant anyway.
Also reduced the intervals for pitlane/pit limiter flashing.
Yes. Old profiles are ALWAYS compatible with new versions, it's just the other way around that new profiles often are not compatible with old versions.
S397 posted RPM values per car after I had been asking on their discord, however it appears that they are not fully accurate, but serve as a starting point at least.
Maurice, you are probably well ahead of this already with your LMU profiles.
I had a quick look and, even though it is extremely kind from S397 to provide the values, unfortunately the provided RPM values are not correct at all and do not match with what I found out in several hours of fine-tuning.... So you can not trust on those values, it's really just a rough baseline to start the fine-tuning (which I luckily already finished over the last weekend)...
I found this too. I put together some quick profiles for the 488, Caddilac LMDh, Ferrari and Oreca and the LED values provided by S397 are not accurate on those. Luckily I did not overwrite the few profiles I had made 😶 . Also to note, the Oreca has a different redline and LED profile in 6th gear - adding to the frustration.
And I though I have the LEDs finished... This game really uses RPM per gear - but just for one car and only for one gear?! Thats... unique and something I would have never tested myself as this is pretty wild...
But also for this car the provided RPM values from S397 are not accurate at all, neither for R, N, 1-5 nor for 6th gear... So I have no idea how S397 has read out their own RPM values which they use somewhere in the code, but the values are inaccurate, on some LEDs even way over 100 RPMs off which is a LOT.......
PS: Do you know if this is the ONLY car where they use different RPM values for some gear or are more cars affected?
PPS: I decided to delay the release of my next profile pack to either next week Tuesday or Wednesday to then also directly include a profile for the new Dallara 324 car of the iRacing 2024 Season 2 game update which is scheduled for Tuesday.
Yeah it seems to be only the Oreca that is affected and in 6th gear only. I think it is to allow a higher top speed for tracks like Le Mans and Fuji etc. All other cars so far appear to share the same LED patter across all gears.
The Devs also sent me percentages for the lights after I had told them the RPMs were incorrect. The percentages were also not accurate....so it looks like they need to be created the old fashioned way by trying to match the light in game, one at a time.
To get it into 6th gear, the car has to be moving, then clutch in and go through to 6th with the clutch engaged, it won't go into 6th if the car is fully stopped.

Great Maurice! thank you very much!!
Miguel
I second that, thank you so much for saving us all the time from doing it , it truly is greatly appreciated and I use them every day
Will these profiles work with a CSL Elite wheelbase?
No.
Do the profiles work with a normal CSL DD?
LEDs yes, Tuning Menu settings are working but no guarantee that the settings feel any good.
My profiles are exclusively for P DD and CS DD as on those its tested and therefore guaranteed to be "good".

Will there be a profile added for LMU in Fanalab?
Yes.

As expected. Thanks for your work, Maurice!

Does anyone have a decent setup for the DD1 with LMU? Can't find a good setting.
TIA

Ferrari 499P profile.
NB: I only use the rim vibration, pedal vibration and LEDs - the base settings will need to be your own.
I also compensated for the LEDs by using 3-3-3 (the car is set up 3-4-4).
Updated - did the 60 minute race at Bahrain and the yellow flag basically got triggered every 20 seconds - I think something in the game is too sensitive and detecting every car going 4 wheels off the track or something.

Are the FanaLab 2.02.26-profiles compatible with FanaLab 2.02.28?
Yes. Old profiles are ALWAYS compatible with new versions, it's just the other way around that new profiles often are not compatible with old versions.
Hi,
Profile for Le Mans Ultimate is soon available ??
Thank you !
Maurice mentioned that the LEDs are done but looking to tweak the profiles now in the tuning menu. So hopefully this week.
Thank you very much

Just two examples, the AMR:
And the 488:
Impressive. How many hours did all the cars take you?
