there are atleast 6 reports from users who had disconnection issues with 457
Which is a fraction of the thousands of users without a problem.
Those 6 reports are likely somewhat hardware related, either QR shaft, usb cable, usb port or some other hardware issue.
There is no proven firmware issue regarding disconnection issues on CSL DD, nothing in this regard is even under investigation. No work is going on at all in this regard for the CSL DD.

Danny says he has disconnections with 455. A driver released 10 months ago with thousands of downloads without such reports. So cant be firmware in this specific case.

So much chat in this im so confused. Im having the disconnect issues with a GTDD8nm. I cant install the base/QR update posted on page one of this through driver 455. cant find 456/7 anywhere. Is there anything i can do to fix this issue now? i have league races i am worried to enter incase it disconnects
you can try 451, if that not works for you either then you may have some hardware problem for sure

There are no known firmware problems regarding disconnections on CSL DD and GT DD Pro.
If you have disconnection issues with this bases, make sure the QR shaft is seated properly, try different USB cables on different USB ports and disable USB power saving for the device. If nothing helps, its a hardware issue and you should contact the support.
Really?? im sure other people have said they had had it with the CSL/GTddpro. Shaft is not coming out and I have tried different usb including USB C to C. dont think there is any usb power saving on the PS5 is there?

As said, there are thousands of users without disconnection issues on CSL DD so it cant be a general firmware issue. Therefore there is also no investigation at all ongoing regarding disconnections on this bases.

there are reports that usb hub helped for the GTddpro users

those two are totally different products , even tho they look very similar
lol. They are literally the same and they share the exact same firmware for base, Motor and WQR. The only difference is the PS chip in the GT DD Pro. Otherwise they are identical, especially regarding Firmware lol.
Wanna know a fun fact? The Firmware file for the motor of the CSL DD is even called "GT_DD_EBLDC" - because the CSL DD and GT DD are literally the same and they share the same firmware for everything.

Hi Maurice, please if you can help me here I would really appreciate.
For long time now I have a repetitive issue with my DD2, something is wrong but not sure if is a driver or hardware issue, below my configuration:
Using PC, Windows 11, 23H2, is updated
Base DD2 with QR2
Driver: 457
Firmware wheel base: 3.1.0.7
Firmware Base Motor: 3.0.0.2
Firmware Steering wheel: 2
Firmware QR: 7
I use your Fanalab profiles (that are great bytheway), so as you know the strength is limited to 15Nm in the base.
What is the issue:
After some time using the base, suddenly for around 1 or 1,5 seconds I lose all or almost all FFB while driving, after this 1 or 1,5 seconds gap the FFB comes back and everything is normal again. I started to notice this issue when I started to do very long races (more than 2hrs) in iRacing, something I never did before, usually it happened when driving straight for more than 1 hr or more, then sometimes I have this 1 or 2 sec lose of FFB. So at the beginning I thought it was related to use the base for so long time straight, maybe the base is "protecting" itself, as I never did it before, but lately I had a couple of times the issue while doing a normal short race, when using the base for less than 10 or 15min, also as said I am using only 15 NM in a 25Nm base so I am not using it even near its limits. The issue does not always happen, for example in 2 or 3 long races happens, but in the next one do not happen, also as said lately I had the issue in a couple of short races, but I had many many others it did not happen, so I can not replicate it, I do not know when is going to happen . All the time it happened it happened 1 time in the race, for example in a 2,5 hr race it happens after 1 hr once, not happening again the rest of the race.
For your info in the past I had several issues with the transformer/power block of my DD2 before, do not know if this could be related to the issue I have now, the issues I had before was different, suddenly the power block "reseted" when the FFB in the wheel was high, the green leed of the power block switched off and switched on again, like it was protecting/reseting itself, and this caused the base itself to switch off. You guys sent me a new power block and since then this issue did not happen again. This happened time before this new issue started to happen, no idea if could be related with this new issue or not.
I tried to install a previous driver, the 455 I think, but I still had the same issue.
As said I have this issue for many many months now, honestly with all the situation you guy had and the several issues I already had with the DD2 I was thinking seriously to solve the situation just moving to other brand definitely, but lately with the Corsair deal finally agreed and seems the idea is to reinforce Fanatec and make it stronger, I am reconsidering to stay and try to get the issue solved, as I like Fanatec products.
Please if you can help me here, what can I do to pinpoint the issue?, can I sent you some info so you can help me to identify the problem?, if you want I can sent you whatever file you need, tell me and I will send whatever is needed.
Many thanks in advance
Maurice, please can you indicate me if there is some record/file or similar I can record so when I have the issue I could figure out if the issue (you can see it in the quoted message) is hardware or software related?.
If you could give me an indication I would appreciate it.

DD2 is high end hardware, the issue what you talk is something todo with drivers

not to keep this off topic, but thats uncalled for. Not to mention plain offensive.

They are not. Please stop. Man...
😑
guess we talk about little differed things, i not really know much about the firmware self because i not have access for that
I do.

i had once the Disconnect as well with CSL DD, and i posted that in somewhere, i think it was in old 457 section
if i remember correctly it was something todo with very strong nm
it happened when i was testing the ffb stuff.
i not really remember that i seen this games self.
so there is a change that it happens with CSL DD users as well but not very often
Again @admins,
The Allan BS show continues....
He doesn't have any clue, spreads misinformation from his at-best-half knowledge, spams the form with loads of BS.
Please mute him.
Nobody cares about the technicals, just give us a working firmware of 460+ and call it a day. Thanks.
I think @Allan is a frustrated homosexual.
Ahahahaha😂

if we really dealing here with same firmware, there is also change that some problems may come from Playstation self
but that is something what players may need self figure out. by testing if they have disconnects in pc
Again you prove your cluelessness. Pure BS.
stop it.
i talked about atm CSL DD vs the Gran turismo DD pro.
if you not have those hardware, that info is useless for you
some reason, some people think that world only circle at Clubsport DD(++)
Maurice Böschen is a fanatec worker, i talked with him, take it as two guys talk in some pub, you not need read everything what is happening here
... We dont really talked with each other. We argued against each other.. And no offense but I also wouldn't want to talk with you in some pub...
yes maybe, but what i say. not everything may come from fanatec side, other products may have also issues. they are not bullet proof
