Before posting this issue I had already Uninstalled/Reinstalled Driver. Ran the Driver Repair. Tried driver 439. Tried different USB ports. All with same results.
Everything is working now. Probably Windows keystroke logging, read that it might be killed and re-installed, it (Windows) decided to work. Unbelievable.
Thanks Maurice, sorry to waste your time. Blame Bill Gates.
I didn't notice a difference at all on my end (440). They were reduced a while back but not eliminated. Have been generally the same for many months (DD1 in ACC).
i have a problem when i use Latest driver and firmware package: Fanatec Driver 439, how can i fix it, during update the programs crashed and i get this ( Wireless Quick Release Update Mode Error: Connect device failed , I've done everything , windows reinstalled and installed Fanatec Driver 440 and I still have the same problem
With 380 all was ok, with 439 and 440 this only one button is not shown in the ui as pressend and it is not working in games.
I downgraded only the driver - and it is working again. Its ist reproducable - each time i tested - 3 times for now. With and without complete remove of the drivers etc, and it is only a problem at my old CSW v2, my Podium Wheelbase is working fine, CSL DD is fine too.
So - now i am working with firmware 690 and driver 380 - working fine (all buttons are working).
I have recently upgraded to v440, and started losing some FFB sensations. It can happen within 10 mins or may take a half hour or so. I have to reboot the wheel to get it back. I don't have a DD only a CSW 2.5, and have never had this problem before. I do not lose all feedback, just some, but the wheel does go lighter than it usually is and the feedback that is there is also less than normal. Didn't know if anyone else had experienced this on a non DD wheel.
what do you mean about "increased resolution" in CSP Brake?
I've these pedals connected through usb, not to the base (csldd). I understand that the resolution is 12 bits regardless of where I connect them, right?
Resolution was maybe the wrong word (its still 12bit no matter how you connect them), better wording would be sensitivity.
Previously the sensitivity was lower and slight brake modulations were not registered.
This changed since FW 1.31 and even the slightest modulation of brake force is now properly registered - but that lead to flickering in the input bar. Will be addressed with an upcoming Firmware.
So it's technically impossible to use BRF on wheel when V3's are connected to USB, but technically impossible to update firmware while connected to wheelbase.? A bit of a mess really. So only way is to keep plugging and unplugging pedals from Wheelbase and USB?
When you want to update the firmware of a Pedal then you need to use the USB connection. That's because the RJ12 Port just does not deliver enough power and functionality for an update, so technically impossible.
For BRF it's a technical limitation of the 7 year old electronics of the CSP v3 so it's technically impossible to get BRF available for CSP v3 connected via USB and when you want to use BRF then you have to connect them to the Base directly.
But all this is not new news, it was like this for the last 7 years...
Comments
Run the Driver Repair or uninstall the driver and reinstall the driver, all with the Base powered on and in PC mode.
Alternatively try a different USB Port.
Thank you for replying so fast.
I was hoping this situation was an easy fix.

Then you might need to reinstall Windows..
That seems very drastic. Considering I have not changed anything other than updating a driver.
UPDATE.

with driver 440 I find the most frequent random jolts
what are yr Fanatec control panel settings?

You need to contact the support.
already done
I'm waiting for an RMA, I've been trying to solve it for 3 days and I've done everything but it doesn't work
WQR issues cant be solved by the customer, it needs to be repaired by support so you are forced to wait for the RMA process.
ok thanks, daan i'll stop trying because it's already driving me crazy, thanks again
use profiles of maurice iracing aston gt4
base dd1
So any help about this problem?
I deleted all drivers and i installed them back but the problem remains.
(None of the button wheels working)
Thanks for the answer. My fault - i mean 439.

I would say stick with the older drivers which work for you. A future driver may resolve your issue but not now.

ok, understood. Thanks!
Well, thats all fine but currently there is no way to change the BRF if the pedals are connected over USB.
If you "force" people to use the BRF value, we should be able to customize it regardless of how the pedals are connected.
That's technically not possible for CSP v3.
So it's technically impossible to use BRF on wheel when V3's are connected to USB, but technically impossible to update firmware while connected to wheelbase.? A bit of a mess really. So only way is to keep plugging and unplugging pedals from Wheelbase and USB?

one last question about the csp v3 (and pedals in general)...which connection has less inputlag? usb or base?
