FFB settings dont need to be changed at all. You now just feel more things which you previously couldnt feel. Thats it. It is not a massive change which would need a setting adjustment.
There's a lot of people on reddit who has the same problem of the deadzone ad the center of the wheel...someone says it's a bug of the game and it will be patched soon...
I did more experiments today and it seems to be linked to camber...aggressive default setup has maximum negative camber -4, if you put -3.8 for example the deadzone at the center seems to decrease a lot...anyway i don't think it's intentional and i don't really like the ffb now and how the car re
I have been hunting around for good settings for a while (CSL DD 8NM), can't seem to find a good base. Not fully, sure what I should be feeling for either. Right now, I have reverted back to the recommended settings on the first page. Are they still good and relevant, or is there a better set?
the only difference for me is that i had to increase the DPR to 100% in the fanatec drivers to feel more weight...but i will try lower it when i'll have a decent car setup for the new update..Thank you for sharing it!
CSL DD(8NM)
SEN -> 1080
FFB -> 100%
FFS -> PEAK
NDP -> OFF
NFR -> OFF
NIN -> OFF
INT -> 1
FEI -> 100
FOR -> 100%
SPR -> 100%
DPR -> 100% (60% is the option he suggest in the video, but i prefer 100% at the moment)
Hi Ste and guys, I've noticed that in single games the force feedback is as I have it set (Stefano's settings), but when I'm in multiplayer servers I find that the force feedback is lighter, is it just me or do I need to change something? Thank you very much.
Ok guys, i think i have to modify my settings...today i tried for the first time since i have the game to activate the "road effects"...now the wheel is alive! I think for the CSL DD is a must now...it not only adds road surface detail, but i feel like better resistance to turn wheel while driving , or i think thats cause wheel vibrates more on road so that vibrations makes me think as its tyre graining on surface and it feel like slight resistance to turn wheel.. i could tell like road effects not only makes us feel track surface but also like steering shaft. I think also interpolation can be set to "0" if you like to feel more this effect
So these are my new settings for the 1.9 and csl dd:
CSL DD(8NM)
SEN -> 1080
FFB -> 100%
FFS -> PEAK
NDP -> OFF
NFR -> OFF
NIN -> OFF
INT -> 0 (try 1 if you feel too much the kerbs, depends by the track and car)
FEI -> 100
FOR -> 100%
SPR -> 100%
DPR -> 100% (60% is the option he suggest in the video, but i prefer 100% at the moment)
Having the CSL DD I was wondering if there was a way for the steering lock to soft lock automatically? My wheel rotation is perfect ingame but i can turn the wheel further without resistant why is that? Any other game has soft lock for me
There's a way around this. If you have custom profiles per car in Fanalab with the correct steer lock you can set ACC steer lock to 0 and then soft lock will work.
Finally got around to trying these settings, and they are excellent! Thank you, Stefano! The only thing I changed was I turned the Gain down to 55, as 65 felt too strong and I was getting tired over longer stints. (Maybe I just need to hit the gym! 😂)
Pre-1.9, I always felt the FFB in ACC was a bit numb, and didn't transmit all of the details it seemed like it should. Now, after the update and with these settings, the car has come alive and I'm definitely enjoying it a lot more!

Correct. That's what I meant with my post. :)
So I'm curious what this will mean for the FFB settings.

You can find multiple good settings in this thread but i can give you my settings.

I found this video on youtube and the settings he's using are much better for the. 1.9 update, try it!

CSL DD(8NM)
ACC Ingame
Thanks guys will try them! I tried older ones but felt very light.
Amazing settings😊👍🏻 I Only have gain in game on 60% because than I have Zero clipping with csl dd 8nm
🤗 so i'm not the only one who thinks are better than the older in the first post...
So Much better😊😊👍🏻
is al little bit clipping with 65% worse?
a little bit of clipping is always ok :)
Grazie mille Stefano, I tried your settings and I must say that I was very happy with them, many thanks 😊
Prego Ale...:)

I think in a race maybe the track sometimes is not very grippy and after sometimes you have also degradation of your tyres...

Steer Linearity -> 1.00
Brake Gamma -> 1.00
Gearshift Debouncing -> 50ms
Thanks Stefano. I trie that settings to night. Do you use pc or comp mode. I use pc mode with the csl dd 8nm
I use PC mode too

Kunos has not implemented the automatic Soft Lock feature, so you need to set the in game rotation and the correct SEN value for every car manually.
well i guess sim racing is a alot of work lol

Are you using these settings with the 450 driver?
I'm actually still back on 439.
It' s exactly the same also for me! with 1.9 and these settings ffb is much better than before!
yesterday i had an update for my dd pro 8nm base now the ffb is way much stronger in acc is that possible?
i had gain 65 and clipping now 55 in game nothing else changed
very strange
i think the difference is in acc 1.9, they made some update in the ffb, i feel it stronger too
oke i am not the only one -:)
Iput it now on 55 gain
